  1. So, of course, I dont know the entire story here. But, to me, Venu comes off looking poorly for filing charges so quickly. Lets face it, those bottle probably cost $100-150 wholesale. So floating Cook the $$$ for a few weeks shouldnt put them out of business. Seems to me they (Venu) should have made CERTAIN that Cook had been notified, and then given him a week or two before filing charges. On the surface, they (Venu) seem like d!cks to me.
  2. Dont get out much, eh? Seriously, I cant remember the last time I was in a bar and they didnt ask me for a credit card to "open a tab".
  3. I’d like to see Bills activate Hardy for this game. He’s faster and quicker than Lewis, and more sticky in coverage. He’s smaller than Lewis so may be a liability against run heavy teams, but I’d rather see him than trotting out Lewis against pass first teams.
  4. Agree. Based on limited reps, Bishop seems to have excellent closing speed. Don’t know how well he’s picked up this D. McD says safety and mlb are the hardest positions to learn
  5. Hamlin , Rapp, and Lewis are all below average. Those numbers don’t address the horrendous run support in Baltimore game. I also think that when they play a good pass attack, their coverage deficiencies will show.
  6. Not a joke. Can we trade our extra 2nd for the Pats kicker? Shye I think ?
  7. Bass better than Tucker? that’s a bold call there, Cotton.
  8. Gotcha. They don’t pass your eye test
  9. The problem with putting Bills WR in bottom 4 is you aren’t normalizing the reception number and yds for opportunities given. Bills have only passed the ball for 2 games, not 3.
  10. Not exactly sure where to put this. But it’s a pretty good Twitter follow.
  11. The original topic was: We quietly got better (at WR). Inferring that this unit was better, would be more successful at doing WR stuff. OP said yes, for reasons outlined in his original post, which highlighted WR responsibilities other than catching the ball, such as blocking and running correct routes. Others said no. When assessing WR, many folks forget the following important aspect of WR play. "You play to win the game". Good WR do more than catch balls. They block, they clear out routes for other receivers (RB, TE). They run their routes correctly, so QB throwing to a spot dont end up with INT. These things dont show up on the stat sheet, but they are critical aspects of overall WR play. To say Bills have a bad WR unit because they are 14th in yardage is disingenuous as well. Because of two blowout wins, Bills have thrown the ball for only 4 halves of football this year (the other 2 halves being run out the clock halves). It stand to reason that would decrease their cumulative receiving yds. The year is young yet, and Bills have a long way to go. But I've been very pleased with overall WR play.
  12. I haven’t read this entire thread, but I distinctly remember during the summer that one poster insisted that it was statistically impossible for the Bills WR corps to be any good since PFF had them ranked 28th. Has that guy (or gal) changed tune, or is Bills WR corps still trash?
  13. Just noticed that Dave Edwards looks a lot like Captain Kangaroo
  14. My guess would be Ingram was blocking the gunner too hard
  15. Horrible call. I have no idea what that official saw. Do these guy get fined for making imaginary calls?
  16. Did Josh say “wheel, wheel” before the pass to Cook on the games first play?
  17. I took Allen at +850 for mvp in August. It’s down to +425 now. Mahomes the favorite at +300
  18. Not really a fair comp, since MHJ played against the NFL best secondary in week 1.
  19. I’m not entirely sure that Tua had a concussion last night. On the play, there wasn’t a severe impact, no helmet to helmet or helmet to ground, but instead it was helmet to Hankins midsection. what was apparent initially was that Tua neck got torqued at a pretty extreme angle. So I’m wondering whether his injury was really a carotid compression, with a transient obstruction to blood flow. That can give symptoms similar to a concussion. Persistent Dizziness, LOC, and nausea.
  20. McDaniel wardrobe is straight from Gen Z Brooklyn hipster section of J Crew.
  21. Taylor Rapp for sure should wear one. I’m not joking.
  22. Did mvs turn the wrong way on that ball?
  23. Well, I have the over 49, so the timeout sorta worked for me.
  24. That was clear pi. Db never looked for the ball
