  2. I want Bills fans to be the best fans in the NFL, not the dumbest. If you want to throw snowballs or yell insults, stay home. We grownups are not impressed.
  3. Not an issue. Get some help at WR and TE and defenses won't be able to double up on him as much. He can always just talk to Josh about it.
  4. His athletic ability is not in question. Size, strength, speed, agility -- He has it all. If he ever puts it all together, look out. But will he?
  5. Any time a big penalty(s) affects the outcome of a game, some fans will use it as an excuse whether the call was correct or not.
  6. Why do we need to criticise him? He's a PS player. He's going to make these mistakes and get beat. What do you expect? No reason to dwell on it.
  7. For those of you that spend part or all of the football season abroad, you can watch complete rebroadcasts of all NFL games at nfl-video.com for free. I'm in Manila and just finished rewatching us squish the fish for a 2nd time. You usually have to wait a bit for the games to get uploaded, but that's the only limitation.
  8. Just now, Matt_In_NH said: For the entire NFL? Not enough up for consideration IMO I meant for the Bills. I couldn't care less about the other teams.
  9. No contest. 98 yard TD to Gabe Davis.
  10. By mistakes, I assume you mean injuries.
  11. If any fan is caught throwing snowballs, they should be thrown out and barred from attending games for 1 year -- No refunds either. These idiots embarrassed the team, the fans and the city on national TV.

No Sean I'm not allowing you to take 1 defensive player in the first 3 picks. I think it's clear that we'll get the best possible return by drafting a RT in round 1. The IOL also needs at least 2 upgrades. Still, I want to keep this D intact as much as possible. With Hyde and Miller returning, they could be in a class all their own. We just need Elam to take the next step. RT and G could come in rounds 1 and 3 maybe. We need to add a WR. We also need to add to the TE position. I don't know how much of that is possible, but we'll see. A big power runner for home games in inclimate weather would also be a nice add. Keep Spencer Brown for his potential, but I think they need to let him sit if he doesn't start catching on. I also think you should usually take OT's before IOL on draft day unless there's a C/G available who is clearly better. Everyone says you shouldn't draft for need and every year every team does it without fail.
  13. It's clear that he's not 100%. All the more reason to upgrade the OL. He's getting hammered every week and the run blocking isn't much better. We need to focus on our offense in the next draft. I'm also starting to worry about Dorsey.
  14. I don't know that he's better than Oliver, but the difference in our run defense has been huge.
  15. I think Edmunds is noticeably better this year. Not a lot of great plays, but a ton of really good ones
  16. My first concern is his long term health, but if Elam could catch fire and Hyde returns for the playoffs, that would give us a huge boost. It wouldn't make up for Von, but that would give us a secondary second to none. Maybe in '23 if and when they all return. If fully intact and healthy, our defense would be amazing. 3 all pros in the secondary, Edmunds and Milano at LB, Miller and Rousseau at end, Jones and Oliver at tackle...Wow.
  17. Elam -- 4 out of 10. He has shown a couple of flashes, but when your 1st round pick at a position of need is a healthy scratch late in the season, that's reason for a low grade. Still, he has the physical tools, so perhaps the future is still bright. Cook -- 5. Nothing special yet, but I think he'll be an average starter. We need a solid #1 that can move the pile. Also with soft hands. Bernard -- 2. Not ready for prime time. Maybe never will be? I think he has his work cut out for him. Shakir -- 5. Not many chances, but I still think he'll be in the NFL for years to come. Possibly an above average starter. Benford -- 7. Best value. He will also be around a long time if he stays healthy. Possibly above average starter. Biggest concern is Elam. If he can live up to expectations, that will really help us win games. He has a former DB as his DC and HC so the odds are in his favor.
  18. What I like best is that he continues to trend upward. A lot of teams passed on him because he sat out his senior year after a phenominal junior season. It looks like that was no fluke. He may well turn out to be the best DE taken in his draft class. He's better than Oliver.
  19. Motor is better than many people seem to think, but he's not a great receiver. Cook might surpass him for this reason. Still, Singletary is outstanding when it comes to wiggling through crowded spaces. He's kinda like a poor man's version of Marcus Allen in that regard. If the OL becomes the focus of next offseason, our run game might be excellent. Add that to our air game prowess and we become less predictable. A balanced approach is harder to defend against.
  20. This is very troubling. A 7th round pick, a 30+ veteran in decline and a guy recovering from a serious knee injury suit up while the guy they traded up for in the first round sits. Benford was having a better rookie season too. Not good, but hopefully he can turn it around. There's still time.
  21. Let's review: The following have missed significant playing time. Oliver, White, Benford, Elam, Rousseau, Hyde, Poyer, Jackson, Miller (?), Edmunds, Phillips. I believe Jones and Milano have missed some time too. Yeah. It's definitely all on Frazier.
  22. Is there a better LB in the NFL right now?
  23. Geez... And I though I was perhaps the most critical. Guess not.
  24. I'll tell you what the hallmark of a good defense is since you're asking -- 2 probowl safeties, an all pro CB, 2 1st round picks from the last 2 years and another 1st rounder from 4 years ago. Again, what's the mystery?
