  1. Quessenberry is an upgrade anyway.
  2. I knew he was elite, but he's been up against the best LT's in the NFL so far. Lewan & O. Brown are above average, but Armstead and Staley are also elite. Not to mention Bahktiari is up next and another meeting with Armstead is coming. Trent Brown is very good and he'll face Von twice. Throw in a couple tilts with Taylor Decker & Duane Brown and that's pretty much the best lineup of LT's you can put together minus Trent Williams. To have 6 sacks at this point is crazy. If Von's not still the best playmaker at the Edge position, he's on a really short list.
  3. Here's a little advice from an "ol' timer". Don't try to match wits with people that are smarter than you.
  4. The Bills are certainly the class of the AFCE, but Miami gave us our only loss and the Jests are no joke. Even the Pats looked good today. The Jets and 'fins have been adding talent with a lot of draft capital as well as key FA aditions like we have. How do you see this division shaping up for the future? Are those solid rosters? Will these young QB's be great? Which other AFCE team will be our greatest challenge?
  5. I lose a little respect for people that give a guy like McKenzie an insulting label like "Lil' Dummy". Does he not work hard? Is he not talented enough to make an NFL roster in multiple seasons? Is he a disruptive presence in the locker room? Yes he's been playing poorly and his future is uncertain, but why the disrespect? I could see it if he wasn't making the effort, but that's not the case. He's not making a fool of himself online like so many others have done. He's not trying to blame someone else so he's being a man about it. By the way, the pass from Allen was well behind him. Maybe he should anticipated that and 'sat down'? The responsibility for the fumble is questionable, but it looked like #6 should have turned sooner. Maybe that's the way they practiced it and the lateral was an instant too soon. In any case, Isiah played poorly, yet deserves both criticism and respect. Those 2 things are not mutually exclusive.
  6. Diggs (10 Rec, 148 yd, 1 TD) and Miller (2 TFL, 2 Sacks) get my game balls with Josh JUST behind Diggs. . Others worth mentioning were Shaq Lawson (1 TFL, 1 Sack), Devin Singletary (107 tot yds) and Reggie Gilliam gets an atta boy. Who knew our FB could make plays? Heck ya! Who stood out to you?
  7. Oooooh iiiiit's aaa beautiful day in Bills co-ountry. A beautiful day in Bills co-ountry...
  8. I do think he'll have to do more to wear that crown, but 1 thing is abundantly clear. Gabe Davis would be the best WR on several rosters. The offseason WR concerns were overblown and that day 3 guy they drafted 'too late' is probably as good or better than most of the WR's drafted last Spring. They should have given a game ball to Beane. Even the backups were ballin' out.
  9. If it's 1st class, then yes. I often fly across the Pacific in passenger class. I'm 6'4" and275 lb. By the time the plane lands in Korea or Japan, I can't wait to get out of there. I'm guessing these guys will be travelling in style. I heard 1 team even had a chef onboard for flights. I don't know if that's true though.
  10. Elam has been a step behind so far.
  11. Oh! How will I ever recover from this? He must be banished for all time!
  12. Of course it's Von, but #50 is taking a big step in the right direction and that has me excited. I wonder how much of that is on Von's tutelage.
  13. I suspect Benford will see time at S before (if at all) White does. Maybe next Spring? Maybe never?
  14. Nailed it. I couldn't agree more. This is especially true because Cody Ford isn't very good. If he were a probowl G and we'd kept Teller, this discussion would be moot.
  15. This isn't the worst OL in the NFL, but there's no doubt that it isn't one of the better ones. Bates is still below average, but hopefully he still has a long way to go before he hits his ceiling. Brown has much more potential based on his measureables, but he's measurably worse than Bates right now. Watching Brown get spun in circles by Ogbah was painful to watch, but I understand why they leave him in despite the fact that Quessenberry is better than him right now. Brown and Bates are still young. I still expect Beane to make a bold move on the OL this coming offseason. It's still a great roster overall.
  16. I guess we need to stop blowing other teams out so they'll stop saying we can't win close games, huh?
  17. I know QB's get and deserve respect, but is there anyone at any position playing better than #58 right now? Perhaps, but it's really short list. REALLY short.
  18. Just how poorly does Spencer Brown have to play before they put Quessenberry in?
  19. OK. We're back in it. Now let's just play our game.
  20. Do we have anyone that can catch?
  21. It looks like they are anticipating what we're doing.
  22. The D can't get off the field. We'd better figure it out SOON. If our D gets tired...
  23. This is the tough part of our schedule and we're severely banged up. I wouldn't panic.
