Not a chance. If that happens, the narrative will be all about the dominant defenses on either side. Mahomes and Jackson will come through untarnished.
I agree. I think they'll be worse than people think. Sneaky worse.
Ok, just drafted for my work league. It is a 12 team league. Here is my team:
QB- J.Allen (BUF)
QB- J.Herbert (LAC)
RB- I.Pacheco (KC)
RB- J.Williams (DEN)
RB- B.Robinson (WAS)
RB- C.Brown (CIN)
WR- B.Aiyuk (SF)
WR- C.Ridley (TEN)
WR- C.Watson (GB)
WR- K.Shakir (BUF)
TE- S.LaPorta (DET)
TE- C.Kmet (CHI)
K- C.Santos (CHI)
DEF- Chiefs
DEF- Bills
Travis Kelce, at least in previous years, has been huge too. Getting a guaranteed 10+ points every week at the TE position has been such a big advantage, in my opinion.
In my work league, there is a guy who always takes Josh in the first round and he usually drafts before me. He isn't even a Bills fan. He won the league last year. We draft tomorrow and I am finally ahead of him in the draft order, so I'm just going to take Josh in the 1st.
Dang, I draft 4th. I hadn't considered that the people in front of me might take him. Now I'm nervous.
I don't think that is reality, I think those are just your opinions. Yes, there is a lot we don't know, but we have a sample of games with Dorsey and a sample with Brady. That's enough to draw some conclusions. But yeah, we need to see more.
Yeah, I am in line with this thinking. I think the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins will be neck and neck (unless there are major injuries), but that the Bills will do better in the divisional matchups and end up winning the division. But, we'll see.
Bills - 23
Cardinals - 20
Lots of offensive struggles for the Bills as they are trying to mesh all the new pieces, but the run game is a big strength to lean on. The defense dominates for most of it, but gives up a few big plays. The Cardinals have a late score to make it look closer than it actually was.
That's true, but sometimes the auto pick drafts turn out pretty dang good, lol. In my work league last year our CEO auto drafted and he ended with one of the best regular season records. He would have done better if he paid more attention late in the season.
I was honestly surprised Kelce was still there in the 5th. I usually pick him up in round 2 because he is usually such a great fantasy TE, but I wasn't really thinking of him this year until I saw he was still there in the 5th. I think that is great value even if he is getting older and maybe not producing like in his prime. He was still elite in 2023.
Kmet is my backup TE, so I can easily drop him and pick up a free agent if he isn't performing.
Ja'Marr Chase went 5th overall in my draft. I checked and his ADP is 7. He will probably be gone by pick 9, but you never know. I think he would be a good pick there.
