  1. WR sticker shock? Receivers are breaking the bank big time. I'm wondering if any of these mega deals will be worth it in a couple of years. You might see more of a receiver by committee approach around the league soon, or drafting them high and letting them walk after their 4th or 5th year.
  2. This is a soft reset year. I think we really need to see how the season plays out. There are just too many unknowns to really know what the team needs and what it doesn't. At first blush, I'd say we are weak at receiver still. And I'm wondering if we'll be weak at safety as well. There are many more potential weaknesses. Pass rusher, for one, but we might view that differently if Rousseau has a break out year and Miller gets back to 80% of what he used to be.
  3. Joe Marino dropped his All-22 review and he usually addresses safety. I haven't listened to it yet, though.
  4. Seriously... And if he misses a tackle next week the board will be questioning Beane for ever allowing him to try out. The pendulum from one extreme to the other on this board is amazing to behold, sometimes.
  5. It's not an issue until it is an issue. So far, it hasn't been an issue. So I'm fine with it.

You sound very insecure. Players leave and players go to other teams all the time. There is no sense in crying about it.
  7. What were those cards he was placing around?
  8. Really? I don't remember that. He was a very popular draft pick.
  9. Shakir is the best receiver we have. He will be on the field most of the time, I bet.
  10. Kingsley Jonathan had a sack and two QB hits, though... Yeah, he had a bad play, but he made some good plays as well.
  11. Sorry guys. I only have enough sports passion to worry about starters. I'll let you guys worry about the backups. Let me know how it goes and what conclusions you come to.
  12. I'll watch the condensed version later. I was busy and couldn't watch it live. Looking at the final score, I'm happy I didn't.
  13. Milano has always been a bit injury prone. But it isn't just linebackers getting injured. The defense was missing multiple starters at all three levels last year.
  14. Just a few years ago the Bills were a very healthy team for a few years in a row. I think most of it is just bad luck, honestly. That's why depth and player development is so important.
  15. Good call. I agree.
  16. I think they will. But I guess we'd better watch the games to see for sure.
  17. Pegula bought the team for 1.4 Billion in 2014, and it is worth 5 billion 10 years later. That's a good investment.
  18. He just wanted to skip training camp.
  19. The common denominator is they had extremely old QB's who they knew would be retiring. Those organizations weren't wanting to develop anyone, they were looking for a replacement in case their QB retired. In the case of Manning, he was coming off a neck injury, so they didn't know if he would be the same, so they let him walk and brought in Luck.
  20. I'll be the dissenting voice. I think RGIII is so fake. I can't stand listening to him. His need to be liked overpowers everything.
  21. Cut them with utensils? Blasphemy!
  22. I bet the NFL will do it to reward the Bills for building a new stadium. It was such a focus for so long.
  23. Dorian Williams is not good in coverage. He is good at playing downhill, though. This is not ideal.
