  1. I think the Colts had more than that. Maybe four or five.
  2. The AFC East wasn't a thing until 1970.
  3. I can't remember the Jets ever winning the East, but I'm sure they have at least once or twice. I bet the Colts have more wins from when they were in the East.
  4. I think the Raiders are in for a rough year, personally. I'll keep my eye on their opponents. Also the Vikings. Ageed. They could have the worst record in the league when all is said and done. They have very little going for them.
  5. I haven't talked about elevating the discourse. Not sure what you mean there. Tua is complaining about his coach being mean to him, and I am wondering what that has to do with being a defensive coach. It's an honest question. Is that more common for defensive coaches?
  6. Do defensive coaches always treat their starting QBs badly? Is that the takeaway?
  7. I don't think you know much about me. I really don't mind if people disagree with me. And I am in no way a bright eyed optimist. I think I have a pretty measured approach to things, personally. But you may view it differently. Perhaps you follow my posts and interpret them differently. That's up to you. Sure, it's not a fact. Rather, it is an observation. I agree. There are many here. But they don't announce their realism because they don't need to. Only the pessimists do that.
  8. Sorry. The real realists don't go around claiming to be realists. There are realists on this board for sure. Everyone knows who they are.
  9. Nothing against you. Just an observation. Realists don't usually have to call out that they are realists. It's self evident. And people only talk about being realists when they are being negative. A real realist is just as willing to point out the positive as they are the negative, and not be emotionally entangled in their opinions so they can view things objectively.
  10. I see that, and I think there are posters who effectively point out issues and are realistic about the team. Many are just negative and what they say is a "hard truth" is just an empty gripe without real evidence. It goes both ways. Fans being optomistic without evidence and fans being pessimistic without evidence.
  11. I would say so, yes.
  12. The only ones who call themselves realists are pessimists. Just a fact.
  13. I always kinda liked how the Patriots did it with Brady. They would go hurry up when they felt like they had an advantageous defensive look, or after a big play. It always caught the defense off guard, especially since they didn't do it all the time, just sporadically. I feel like that should be in the arsenal of every offense, but you don't see it much. Part of the issue is that defenses are so complex and disguised these days that the offense needs a bit of time to diagnose and make checks. Still, the hurry up can force defenses into simple calls too...
  14. No, he is a solid linebacker. He will be excellent depth and can start games and perform just fine.
  15. I don't consider you negative. I may disagree sometimes, but there are other posters here who are clearly just angry at the world and take out their frustrations on the Bills.
  16. Any thoughts on Kingsley Jonathan. Many said he sucked the first week, but you and Joe Marino both said he played well. Kind of the same this week. Some posters are saying he sucked, but Joe Marino mentioned he played well again. I'm beginning to think he just has some haters who will always hyper focus on any negative play. But, I didn't focus on him myself. I think he had a sack and two QB hits.
  17. It's interesting to see his regression. He was decent his first few years.
  18. It just depends on when the QB pulls the trigger. If the ball is already in the air at the time of those snapshots, it is probably a reception. But if he throws it right then, I think the safeties get there. Holes close up faster than you think, and safeties can cover ground. Luckily, Josh also has a powerful arm and can zip those in there.
  19. Potentially the last two.
  20. Not sure I completely agree on a couple of those. The safeties are in position to get there and contest the catches, or at least make a tackle after the reception. But, generally you are correct.
  21. Wow. A bunch of whining complainers in here. The new stadium will be great.
  22. I think the Spector experiment needs to end. That dude is ALWAYS injured. How? I'm not sure, because he never plays. But Morrow and especially Jones are good depth.
  23. I wonder why Renfrow can't get a job...
  24. Kyle Allen is employed by Steelers as of right now. Keenum is with the Texans. There's always Matt Barkley...
  25. And when the Bills make the playoffs, what will you do? Just go radio silent and go back to bashing the team next offseason.
