There are kicking issues all around the league right now. There must be something in the water. There's no way to tell for sure unless you see the camera angle looking up from the goal posts. The other angles don't show when the ball crosses.
-
They never showed an angle during the broadcast that showed us when the ball crossed that field of the crossbars. So, I have no idea if it was good or not. Sometimes they show the angle from the camera looking up from the cross bar, but they didn't show that. Regardless, Bass needs to hit a better ball so that he doesn't put it in the hands of the refs. And if it was a snap issue that threw off the timing, they need to clean that up as well.

So about the refs tonight UPDATE: Rams game discussion on page 14

The missed face mask was bad. You know, sometimes the officials won't see things. I get that. I can live with that. It is when they see things that aren't there that really bothers me. Phantom holds or phantom pass interference. That is the worst. -

It looked definitive to me. It would have been reversed if it had been reviewed. The announcers and the rules analyst agreed. Yes, other than that dropped pass that wasn't reviewed. -

Anyone who thinks the Bills can't win the superbowl this year just haven't been paying attention. They are going toe to toe with the best team in the NFL. They are just different this year. They are disciplined and efficient. -

It was basically the exact same challenge that Reid made. -

Or they would rather have them for the rematch in the playoffs. -

I thought it looked out when it first happened. The Bills shouldn't have substituted personnel which caused the refs to force them to wait to snap the ball. They could have beaten the challenge. -

You can tell they are trying to feature Worthy to justify the trade up with Buffalo. -

Martin never pins anyone deep. Just kicks it to the 15 to give the offense a comfortable cushion. -

I was going to say... going for it on 4th down wouldn't just be gutsy there. It would be downright foolish. -
If the ball carrier is holding the ball close to his neck, no. But if he isn't, yes. There should be consequences if you miss badly.
-
I thought his punches were legitimate and smart. Every defender should be doing that on every play. Punching at the ball is allowed by the rules. Do it and do it often, I say. I think fines are a percentage of their annual contract, but I don't know how exactly the amounts are derived.

Cooper says he plans to play Sunday with a cast!
MJS replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think fans manifesting it is not really possible. Now, the players and coaches, they can have an impact with things like that. -
This is actually really good news for the Bills. He is a great kicker.

The win loss record or seeding should never be a factor in a player returning from injury. Either they are fit to play, or the aren't. The Bills are usually really good about that. -

It's an unfortunate injury. He'll be back out there when he heals up enough. The Bills are one of the more conservative teams in the NFL when it comes to injury, and that is a good thing. -

I really don't care that much. It is not something I think about or stress about. But it is something that disappointed me at the time and just solidifies that he is a block head. He apologized immediately following the game, and if he would have left it at that, it would have been fine. But each time he talked about it since he has made it clear that he does not regret it or think that it was a big deal. And that's fine. But it makes him a lot less likeable for me and for plenty of other fans. It isn't that I'm continually thinking about it. But it permanently altered my opinion of him. Before then, I actually liked him a lot. I thought he was fun. He had a crazy personality. He is lower character than I thought, though, and the Tre White incident and his remarks illustrated that.
