It was an important 3rd down in that game too, although it was early on.

Did you even watch the game? He was crapping on the Bills all night. Any good play he excused away. Any bad play by the Chiefs was because of the rain or hurt players or an endless list of other excuses. And his job is to talk intelligently about both teams. It was clear he did almost no homework for this game. He was spewing things about both teams that were true two years ago. He was not even close to "decent" last night, by any measure.

The Bills are officially the betting favorites to win the Superbowl

I think it was best it turned out that way. It was a good wake up call for the Bills. I nice kick in the butt sometimes is good for you. Plus, no pressure to stay undefeated. -

Ok, I missed that. -
Al Michaels was not much better. He just agreed with everything Collinsworth said. He had the audacity to say that Allen hadn't gotten much going in the passing game the first half, that it was all with his legs. Allen had over 200 yards passing the first half, you moron! And then Mahomes did the exact same thing and completed a nice pass. No word about how Mahomes shouldn't sprint backwards away from the defense. And Mahomes actually turned the ball over multiple times in the game.

He can call it the story all he wants. He was a Chiefs fan all night. Every good throw by Allen was "Oh, that little Josh Allen kid is just getting better and just learning football, cute little kid. Remember how he used to suck?" And every catch he was asking if the receiver pushed off. Nothing good the Bills did was because of them, it was because the Chiefs made a mistake. The Bills were up by multiple scores when that legitimate flag for roughing the passer was thrown. Even if it was a BS call, which is wasn't, to say it was a turning point or the reason for the win is just stupid.

I agree there were some missed offensive holding calls. But that's nothing new. Every single game is going to have those.

I agree. The really bad one was the Morse holding call. Such a terrible call. The rest was pretty normal, I thought. The defense came into the game with a plan to hold and play physical, and they did. And they got called for it sometimes. And it worked like a charm. I'm pretty sure the Oliver RTP call would get called most times. You aren't allowed to hit the QB at the knees or lower. That's what he did. The RTP call on Clark was also by the book because he drove Allen into the ground, which is a rule that was added a couple of years ago (I'm not a fan of this particular rule, personally. You should be able to hit the QB and drive him into the ground as long as you aren't doing anything unnecessarily rough, imo). I agree that a lot of fans don't seem to know the current rules. They are acting as if we are still operating under the rules of the 1990's. The game is way different today. Yeah, he flopped because it was uncatchable, hoping to get the call. If the ball was anywhere near he would have gone for it. But that's going to get called every time.

I'm pretty sure he predicted a Chiefs loss a few days ago, so he has no reason to stay away. He was right on. -
And Collinsworth had the audacity to say it was an "easy call". Morse did everything right and didn't even come close to holding.
-
Let me guess, they lost because of the roughing the passer penalty (even though they were down bug at that point anyways)? Chiefs fans are the worst. I don't even need to read it.

Biggest win of the Sean McDermott era, in my opinion. -

Eh, is was pretty obvious what Sanders was trying to do. He adjusted is "route" directly into the defender. -

The Chiefs cry like babies every play for a flag. -
Weather is part of the game. You don't schedule around it. You deal with it.

And how would you know that the coaches got out coached? All we see is how the players execute. It's not really possible to separate the two just watching from a couch. I think the biggest issues against the Chiefs have been a gap of talent and experience. The Chiefs have played in more big games and know how to play better teams better. They have Kelce and Hill, two historically dynamic players at their positions who we have not been able to deal with, and, of course, Pat Mahomes who is putting together a gold jacket career. This is the toughest game on our schedule and we might lose. We aren't going to win them all and the Bills have not proven they are better than the Chiefs yet, but this is a good chance to show that they can hang with them.

I think he's like Milano in that when he is injured and misses time, it causes ripples through the whole defense. It take multiple players to replace their on-field duties and you also miss out on their big plays that they have a knack for.
