  1. This is clearly an elite defense. How is that not obvious? The Bills are playing very well against the run, actually.
  2. He'll be a Kansas City Chief. They need to constantly remind us how douchy they and their players are and this is a perfect opportunity to do that.
  3. Because what's the difference between a great throw and catch and a "turnover worthy throw"? It's completely subjective. One person might look at a play and say "that was an amazing throw. He fit it into tight coverage" and another might say "the defender was in tight coverage. He never should have made that throw." And it doesn't seem to have correlation to ACTUAL turnovers. Allen has only a few turnovers this season. Last season he did not turn over the ball a ton either. Yet both years he has some of the most "turnover worthy" plays of any QB. It's the stupidest metric. Do your rates go up if you almost hit another car? Or if another car almost hits you? Those were "accident worthy" moments on the road.
  4. We weren't just a franchise QB away. We were a bunch of coaches away too, including the head coach and coordinators. We were also a culture away. We were also a "team" away, instead of just a collection of talent. Whaley could bring in talent, but he couldn't build a team. He also lacked any leadership or accountability whatsoever. I'm glad he didn't find a franchise QB. He was not the man for the job and I am glad he is gone and we now have Beane, someone with vision, leadership, and who knows how to build a team. He does more than just collect talent.
  5. And who should be talking superbowl in the AFC? Chargers? Chiefs? Titans? They have all had embarrassing losses. Same with the NFC frontrunners outside of maybe the Cowboys. Every team has blemishes. The team who wins the super bowl will not have a perfect season. The Bills are a Superbowl contender. They are one of the top teams in the NFL.
  6. People have been complaining about officiating since the beginning of time. No, I don't think it is worse. And honestly, fans are often very wrong about a lot of the calls or no calls that they complain about. Yes, the officials miss things sometimes. Sometimes they make bad calls. Sometimes it is really bad. But most of the time it is fine.
  7. Better make it an even 1,000 and 10.
  8. I guess you are right, but it is possible for a team to score only 1 point, so the score could be 6-1.
  9. 4-4 would be even crazier. Technically, you could have a 1-0 score if you somehow scored a conversion safety. It hasn't been done in the NFL since 1940, but it is possible for both the offense and the defense even today, I think. EDIT: You can only score a conversion safety on an extra point try, so 1-0 is not possible. But 6-1 is possible.
  10. The post I responded to asked about the Bills all time list. This does not include his CFL TD's. He had 22 with NE, 26 with San Diego, 39 with Buffalo, and 5 with Chicago. Not sure what he had in the CFL. Probably a bunch.
  11. Some people like the Bills and Josh Allen and like talking about them on this Bills message board.
  12. Josh Allen is already 3rd all time behind Jim Kelly and Joe Ferguson: 1. Jim Kelly - 237 2. Joe Ferguson - 181 3. Josh Allen - 84 4. Ryan Fitzpatrick - 80
  13. You beat me to it.
  14. The space-time continuum will implode if that happens. Let's hope the oline is up to the task, for the sake of us all.
  15. Hopefully they blitz more. The way to beat Allen is to drop into coverage and have your line contain him in the pocket, making him take the underneath stuff. Allen shreds the blitz.
  16. What a time to live in. Top early broadcast is Cleveland vs Cincinnati. Those two teams have been dumpster fires for most of my life.
  17. I did the same.
  18. He deserves to go to jail even if he had not killed someone. That's just ridiculous.
  19. I think people started waking up and realized that bodies were exponentially piling up.
  20. People who drive impaired deserve whatever consequences that come to them for their decisions. And it's just not true that most people have done it. It's a justification that people say to make themselves feel better about their dumb actions. "Everybody else does it too, so it's ok. I'm not a bad person." I've looked up the statistics in the past and that reasoning does not hold water. Most people do not, and have not, driven impaired. But the number that do is alarmingly high, especially since everyone knows it is idiotic and endangers themselves and others.
  21. In my opinion, the Bills definately earned that win. They played hard and made more plays than their opponent. But kudos to the Colts for playing hard and giving it their all. As for the game stats, they were decently close, but yes, the Colts did have about 80 more yards of offense. But they scored fewer points, so they lost. And Allen did outperform Rivers in that game, throwing for more yards, more TD's, and he had a significantly higher passer rating. I have no skin in the game concerning Phillip Rivers. He was a good QB, but he is old now. I thought he played pretty well against the Bills in the playoffs, but did not pull out a win for his team.
  22. And why should the Bills have lost it?
  23. The first two can't even stay healthy... I guess if you want fewer yards per attempt... Singletary is a better runner. And I don't even think it is close.
