I agree, but nicknames are created by someone. They don't just appear out of thin air.

Yeah, and I'm saying they need a new phrase to yell when they are running around on pure adrenaline. Somewhere along the line they learned "Let's Go!" and trained themselves to say it over and over.
-
"Let's go!" is kind of annoying to me now. Literally everyone in sports screams that. Someone should come up with something new to yell. "We're gonna win!" Or "Yippee!"

Yes, I remember one to Beasley as well. So, in total I think there were 2 to Davis, 1 to Beasley, and 1 to Knox that were all miscommunications. And most of them came on 3rd down, although I think the one to Beasley was on 2nd down. I don't think it has been a theme this season, just in that game. It could also be that Saleh had some good defensive looks that made the option routes harder to define for the pass catcher and QB.

NFL Passing yards per game down - 2nd lowest total since 2013

Every year has bad QBs. If anything, I think there are more good, young QBs in the league now than there has been in awhile. -

Resurgence of defenses, would be my guess. Teams are figuring out how to handle the elite passing offenses like the Chiefs, Bills, etc. Particularly early on in the year offenses were struggling to handle defensive adjustments. -
It all comes down to the Steelers pass rush. If they can make Mahomes miserable, they have a chance.

Anyone know if Bills are practicing Outside?
MJS replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Personally, I think the Bills should practice in the stadium more often, especially when weather is going to be a factor. -
What Heath Farwell said about Bills punter Matt Haack

They aren't going to pile on one of their players to the media. They know the issues. -
Josh reveals he suffers from poor circulation

I am 6'3 and I have no circulation issues, but I do bump my head on everything. This world was made for 5'9. -

His blood has to circulate a long way, you know. He's 6'5". -
I would have rather had Lawson back than Phillips, honestly. Lawson at least played within the system. Phillips left his gap responsibilities to go chase the QB. He was a real liability for the defense. He did one thing and only one thing, and that was rush the QB, to the detriment of everything else. He got his sacks and a big contract, which is what he wanted. He came on One Bills Live one time and Tasker asked him to explain to the audience the difference between 1 Tech and 3 Tech, just so those who didn't know could learn. Phillips had no clue. Tasker had to walk him through it and explain to the audience himself. It was one of the most painful things I've listened to. That told me basically what I needed to know. Phillips is a guy you tell to just go get the QB. He is not capable of much else.

Did you wake up one morning and decide that you wanted to be the most insufferable Bills fan on the planet? By the way, I agree with you on Lawson. I don't think he is good enough to be on our team. If they want to sign him to the practice squad for insurance, fine. By all means. But the constant doom and gloom, crying about Allen's contract, crying about possibly being one and done in the playoffs, constantly talking down the best team we have had in decades... it sucks to read your posts, dude. Can we have a break if the Bills win this Saturday? Can you agree to not crap all over the Bills and everything they do for a few days?

The Bills rank better than them in rushing, you know.

I'm not finished with this season yet, personally. I'll be happy to discuss this in a few weeks , after we celebrate a Bills Superbowl, of course.
-
Everyone is tired of your nonsense, so just stop already.

Allen has a much larger body of work than Wentz did. And if you are still doubting Allen after all he has done, there's no helping you. You must feel very lonely because everyone else knows he is elite.

I am excited to move on from Hughes and Addison next year and really develop our defensive line of the future. I think Hughes is highly overrated by Bills fans. He is a solid, average player. My main issue is he disappears for so many games. He'll have a great game, then do nothing for weeks and weeks. And, obviously, his lack of sack production.
-
Oh I think his pass rush was not adequate, and stopping the run is fine, but you don't give guys big contracts or even significant starting time just to stop the run. I think letting Lawson and Phillips both walk was the right move by far, and I don't even like the idea of bringing either of them back. They are not good enough to be Buffalo Bills in 2022, in my opinion. And it is suspect that they were both busts but scraped together decent years in their contract year so that they could get paid, then completely underperformed since then.
-
Wentz is playing nothing like he used to, though. I'm not totally sure what happened to him, but he isn't the same player anymore.
-
Shaq wasn't really that productive with the Bills, though. He was bad at first, became below average, and then had one decent year where he was barely average.
-
I can get behind signing him to the practice squad. I would not want to see him play significant snaps over anyone else we have.
-
That's funny, since he is supposed to be an edge rusher but he doesn't produce sacks.
