I'm not talking about only this pick. I'm talking about going back years. On GMF he has always been sceptical of the Bills and I feel like the positive things he has said are due to peer pressure. And also his opinions that he shares during halftime shows. I really don't care. Just stating the facts.

I do think it is more valuable when looking at a player's career compared to just individual seasons. Top AV Players in Bills History: 1- Bruce Smith (201) 2- Thurman Thomas (134) 3- Jim Kelly (132) 4- Andre Reed (132) 5- Kent Hull (109) 6- OJ Simpson (107) Josh Allen is currently at 54 which ranks 44th in team history (not sure if it includes this season or not). https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/career-av.htm I couldn't find a list of single season leaders in AV for the Bills, but 19 is really good. Bruce Smith only had 1 season higher than that (1996). Jim Kelly never had a season that high. Thurman Thomas has 3 seasons at 19 or better (1990 through 1992), OJ Simpson has 2, including an insane AV of 25 in 1975.

Nate Burleson picked the Bills to lose and predicted that Mac Jones would throw for more yards than Josh Allen (these were "bold" predictions, btw). I agree with you. Arians has a superbowl ring because of Brady and the talent that flocked to the team because of Brady. No other reason. It will be interesting how LaFleur does if Rodgers leaves. McDermott is easily a top 10 head coach in this league. I'd put him at 7, probably. And without looking I'd say Beane is a top GM. Easily top 10 for him too. Maybe top 5.

I'm not against open-air. I don't have a strong opinion either way, honestly. I live on the other side of the country so I don't get to go to games anyway, except very rarely. I do think if we never see the Bills playing in the snow again it would be a sad thing.

It's only an advantage if you have the worse team, because the weather is a great equalizer. Right now, the Bills are really good and the weather brings them down closer to their competition. In the future, though, maybe the Bills won't be as good and it will help them pull off some upsets.

What is odd about it? He is saying that the receivers are selfless and don't complain when they don't get the ball, that they root for each other to succeed and that positive energy helps the team. All he is doing is complimenting his receivers.

That is true, and I always guessed that it was because the officials were punishing him for that time he spoke out against one of them, plus he was a hothead for many years and would draw personal foul penalties a lot. But I think that "punishment" fizzled out a few years ago and he has lost a step for sure. He has not been the same player for awhile now.

The Tampa game they came back and took it to overtime. I actually think it is one of those things this team is missing, experience wise. The big comeback win.

I never said he is a jag. He is a good player. But I want more. I want a double digit sack producer. For all the credit that Bills fans like to give Hughes, he is never considered even slightly for the pro bowl or any other accolades. Pressure rate is fine, but he isn't a finisher. We need a finisher. And I know how to fairly judge defensive end play. You and others overrate Jerry Hughes. That doesn't mean he is a bad player. He's not. But he is expensive and hasn't produced sacks since Mario Williams was here. Hughes is great if he has a dominant pass rusher across from him. He is old. Time to move on. Time to develop the younger guys. I was one of those banging the drum to resign him when we did all those years ago. I have been dissatisfied with his play given what the Bills paid him.

The top 3 coldest games and the 5th coldest were all in the Jim Kelly era. I wonder why those years were so cold.

I think everyone in league circles will see it the same way. I'm sure he got paid more and now he has the experience. He'll get another shot elsewhere, I'd bet. Maybe not this year, but in future years.

Guess we'll see what happens. The Bills can beat any team. It's a fact. But it's not that simple. They have to go out and do it, and that is easier said than done.

Phillips has been playing really well. Hopefully he can keep it up, because he has had stretches of poor play in the past, and I don't know if we can put all of that on his injuries. If he has truly turned the corner, that is great. Oliver has been tearing it up too. It would be amazing if we had our interior defensive line figured out.

Do we know why they made it so much worse? Do they not have enough employees?

Can you tell me a little more about what you liked? Everything he said seemed to be very simple. Stuff that many fans could intuit from these plays. As for him as a color analyst, his voice is very boring, monotone, and he does not articulate smoothly in his explanations, using a lot of filler words as he is thinking of how to say things. Obviously he is a great football mind and knows way more about football, especially the history of the game, than most people. Just in this particular video I don't hear anything that is impressive. It sounds like Belichick is just giving a simple overview of the plays and is ready to get back to coaching.

I think a lot of people have COVID right now or are scared of getting COVID. With the new surges people are back on high alert. Sitting with 60k other people might be questionable for them. Me? If I didn't live on the other side of the country, I would go.

I do think players tend to play hard for their interim coaches. Getting your coach fired seems to be a wake up call for them sometimes. I guess I don't know. It's a tough question. Definately interview him. Bring in as many quality candidates as you can and try to hire the best possible one. If that's Basaccia, great.

Well I think Nick is typically a joke, but that video was not bad at all. The only dumb thing he did was put the Chiefs above everyone else because he is completely biased. That's expected. I don't think he said anything disrespectful about Buffalo or ranked them too low. Weird to not rank the Patriots. I don't know what that is all about. And I agree with him that they let too many teams into the playoffs now. I was against playoff expansion when it happened and I'm still against it.

Pro Football Reference lists Allen's nickname as "General". I like "Winter Soldier" better, though. Mitchell Trubisky is apparently nicknamed "Mr. Biscuit".
