But he didn't get a lot of targets. And there is a difference between beating your man and actually getting targeted (production). I bet he is good against press coverage. That's what it takes to be the best. If you think you are going to make it in the NFL just showing up on time and doing the required minimums, you'll be out of the league before you know it and wondering what you did wrong.

I think it could mean something depending on the situation, but you have to see the context, not just in INT numbers. If the QB is just a hot mess and air mailing passes, not understanding the concepts, not dealing well with the speed of the game, etc. That's going to lead to practice interceptions. If they are timid and unwilling to make throws (like Tyrod Taylor), that might lead to no interceptions, but also doesn't reflect well. You have to consider everything together, not just one or two data points.

It was a widely held view that Diggs was better than what he was producing in Minnesota and that he could be a #1 receiver if he had more opportunities. He was the subject of a lot of trade rumors because of that, and because he was unhappy there. And it turned out to be true. He came here and balled out for a few years and showed that the speculation was correct.
