Smelling Salts NOT Banned by NFL - (updated scents!)
MJS replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's huge. They are used a TON by NFL players. -
It's about production. Palmer hasn't been super productive even though he is really good at beating man coverage and getting separation. I bet that includes press coverage. But he didn't get a lot of targets. And there is a difference between beating your man and actually getting targeted (production). I bet he is good against press coverage. He just doesn't have the production.

They're still a joke.

Such a soft society we live in.

Three players for one and then they'd still have to fill those holes.
-
That would not be a buy from me.

What we all knew confirmed: Bills unis are the best.

They gave the Rams nasty yellow ones an A-, so I don't trust whoever is grading the uniforms. -
Keon keeps trying to beat Allen to Highmark lol

That's what it takes to be the best. If you think you are going to make it in the NFL just showing up on time and doing the required minimums, you'll be out of the league before you know it and wondering what you did wrong. -
Epenesa does not move the needle even slightly.

How relevant/predictive is the # of INTs a QB throws in training camp?
MJS replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it could mean something depending on the situation, but you have to see the context, not just in INT numbers. If the QB is just a hot mess and air mailing passes, not understanding the concepts, not dealing well with the speed of the game, etc. That's going to lead to practice interceptions. If they are timid and unwilling to make throws (like Tyrod Taylor), that might lead to no interceptions, but also doesn't reflect well. You have to consider everything together, not just one or two data points. -
I'm fond of board games. Also I play disc golf.

He is one of the best tacklers on the team, too, probably second to Rapp.

Knee scope where they just clean it out. Could be that. Might as well get it replaced to avoid the possibility of STDs.

Do you still watch the NFL Hall of Fame inductions?
MJS replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Never really did. -
Bills have a playoff problem..It’s not Josh Allen (Warren Sharp)
MJS replied to BillytheKid's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills lag behind in playoff success only to the Chiefs. They have had more playoff wins and consistent appearances than any other team. -
Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

It's really impossible to know anything with certainty these days. -
Hypothetical NFL players that could be traded for a 1st
MJS replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hmm, I don't really agree with that. I think the Diggs situation was a little more unique. He was seen as a much safer bet to produce like a #1. -

I bet he died of his injuries and Maddy Glab has taken over his Twitter to keep up appearances. -

It was a widely held view that Diggs was better than what he was producing in Minnesota and that he could be a #1 receiver if he had more opportunities. He was the subject of a lot of trade rumors because of that, and because he was unhappy there. And it turned out to be true. He came here and balled out for a few years and showed that the speculation was correct.
