  1. That's true. The officiating really stuck out. But I told my dad before the game it would be like that when I saw that the unholy spawn of Ed Hochuli was officiating. He is the WORST. Almost as bad as his dad.
  2. I'm not really sure why so many fans are so bitter about this one. Josh Allen played well. We took perhaps the best team in the league to overtime. The defense collapsing wasn't fun to watch, but the Eagles are no joke. They are a really good team. And we took them down to the wire. This one is easier for me to get past than, say, the Jets game where the team just made critical error after critical error, with Josh looking terrible and lost, against Zach Wilson. That one was far worse for me. Or the Pats game? They have a terrible, terrible offense, and they have looked bad against everyone but us. That game sucks worse than this one.
  3. "Buffalo" always comes back to the animal. If it was named after a creek, the creek was named after a Seneca man, and the man named after the animal, it still comes back to the animal. So, there isn't really any way to logically separate the two.
  4. At least they had the decency of ripping each other's helmets off first. I never understand when players punch someone in the helmet. How dumb is that?
  5. Let's hire an exorcist already.
  6. Yep, it would screw us real bad if he retired.
  7. That would not help us...
  8. Tons of teams still do it.
  9. Poyer and Hyde are not what they used to be. Benford is fine, but he was a 6th round pick for a reason.
  10. True, to an extent. I just think he blitzes too many at once.
  11. Peters is boom or bust. He's kind of risky.
  12. People were wrong. They were projecting players like Gabe Davis into a #2 role. This team has holes. They are not loaded, and even if they were, injuries void that.
  13. I know. Some of it is bad luck. Like, does Allen have a single dropped INT this year? Every. Single. Mistake turns into the worst possible scenario this year. He has to play perfect or it is a pick. It is crazy.
  14. Ok, good to know. They certainly pointed it out a lot.
  15. Frazier was great for the Bills... until he wasn't. It was time to move on, but he had some great years in Buffalo. Dorsey was a mistake, but it was a complicated one, especially since Allen was so vocally advocating for him. It was a risk that did not work. McDermott can and has made changes to the defensive scheme as a coordinator. I'm not sure what you mean. As a head coach? Not sure. But as a coordinator, he does a lot of good stuff with a tough injury situation.
  16. The Bills aren't loaded. They have holes due to lack of talent and injury, especially on defense. But receiver is a problem on offense. Pegula holds McDermott accountable. He is the only one. And I MUCH prefer McDermott's aggressive defense to Frazier's passive defense. McDermott just needs to make some adjustments and rethink what he calls in certain situations. He might not be able to do that. We'll see. McDermott should be feeling the heat, but not for making the correct call on moving on from those coordinators.
  17. Too risky for me. I guess I am more conservative.
  18. Hate to say it, but Allen's bad INT really contributed. He played great for 99% of the game, and the one mistake he made was a back breaker. Besides that, officiating was really bad. Bass missing kicks. McDermott not being able to adjust well to the Eagles adjustments. And Gabe Davis not looking for the ball in an obvious situation where he should have been looking for the ball. And every time Sherfield came in for Diggs, it was a disaster. What was up with Diggs? Why did he need to leave the field so much?
  19. You just need excellent coverage guys to blitz like that, and the secondary is so banged up.
  20. I'm fine with blitzing, just not the all-out blitz he is so fond of. I mean, I like the aggressive mentality, but sometimes it is just dumb to do that. That all-out blitz against the Broncos was one of the key plays that lost the Bills the game. And now again against the Eagles.
  21. Nice breakdown. I wish McDermott did not blitz so many guys all the time. I'm not against blitzing, but it is just so risky blitzing that many. Why not bring just one or two extra?
