  1. Is Rasul Douglas the only ine wearing white socks? That's a little strange.
  2. Really? He has really struggled this year. He is by far the least effective DT.
  3. Oh gosh. Herbert really threw the game away there.
  4. He is a practice squad player. It isn't like he was signed to the 53. Maybe he will, but that doesn't mean he was brought in as anything more than a veteran leader in the secondary room. If he makes an appearance, it is out of respect for what he has done. Heck, maybe Hyde doesn't want to play. Maybe he wanted to help behind the scenes and keep his neck healthy.
  5. He says a lot of dumb things and really obvious things. That's why I've never liked him. He has a good voice, though.
  6. Nice run there. Got to give him credit.
  7. That should have been pass interference. He had his arms around him before the ball got there.
  8. Stroud sucks. He was fools gold last year. That's why consistency is so important. A lot of QBs have put together 1 good season.
  9. Yeah, the former players are all about elevating Jackson all the time. Whatever.
  10. S Kareem Jackson and WR Jalen Virgil both elevated from the practice squad.
  11. I do generally agree. Jackson has been propped up by the media. But this season he did really ball out. He had an incredible year. If Josh Allen had won it last year like he deserved, I'd be all for Jackson getting it this year. But he didn't, so I want some justice for him. Josh deserves an MVP. That being said, Jackson really did solidify himself as a truly elite QB this year for me. I had my doubts before, but I don't anymore. Even as a passer, he is elite.
  12. It depends on if the Steelers can run the ball with any regularity. If they ask Wilson to drop back and pass to win the game, it will be a long day for them. Wilson just isn't that guy now, and never really has been. But if they can run the ball and play stout defense, he can manage the game quite well (most of the time). Here's hoping...
  13. McDermott should be winning his 3rd coach of the year award this year (2017 and 2020). And yet, he hasn't gotten one yet. And now that the Bills are seen as an elite team, he probably won't ever win one since the award doesn't go to the best coaches, it goes to the coach of the team that doesn't suck as much as people think.
  14. Winning the MVP is a big deal. Winning a Super Bowl is obviously better, but it is fine to care about other awards and achievements besides just the Super Bowl. It is cool when a member of your favorite team gets major awards. And your point about caring about another man's award could be used for the Super Bowl as well. What is the point about caring about a Super Bowl win? You aren't a member of the team. It isn't your trophy.
  15. Lamar Jackson is very popular in the media. Many of the voters are inclined to will Jackson into being the greatest QB in NFL history, whether it is true or not. Here is the list of voters for last year. I couldn't find this year's voters in the few minutes that I searched: https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/heres-the-full-list-of-the-50-ap-awards-voters I'm not a fan of many of these voters. Some of them are ex-players who got their jobs because of their names, not because of football analysis. Some of them are good. Many of them were huge Josh Allen critics until it became popular to view Josh as elite. I think Jackson is going to win it. At least he had an incredible year this year. He didn't deserve it last year.
  16. What a tremendous fall. It is an incredible story.
  17. Most of them don't know any better 😉
  18. I don't really think that has been the narrative this year. In years past, yes. But Detroit really emerged this year as an elite team. The Vikings as well. The Commies have a good, young QB. The AFC has all the elite QBs, still, though. Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, and Burrow.
  19. Remember the Debbie Downer thread recently? If you want to see who some of those are, go look at the list of posters who voted "No" in that poll. A good chunk of those are the Debbie Downers, haha. And today they are still posting negatively. Some things never change.
  20. Coma or comma?
  21. What a dumb post. I'm sorry, but this shows a real lack of understanding and a silly level of McDermott angst and hate. It isn't even worth explaining to you why Codrington was playing.
  22. I meant the losses were close. I should have said "wins or close losses."
