Can't believe all the Cody Ford love during the Bengals-Steelers game.

I doubt he has been that good, though. The cincy offensive line has still been suspect. Burrow was getting hit every other play, it seemed. -
I couldn't agree more. He has taken the Bills from the dumpster and turned them into one of the most respected organizations in sports. The vitriol he gets sometimes is just gross. He is a good coach, a great motivator, and a great culture builder. I have always defended him, and I really want him to get that ring. He deserves criticism at times, for sure. But fans take it too far. They go well beyond criticism of his mistakes and into personal attacks and dragging him through the mud. He probably only agreed to do it by refusing beforehand to answer any questions about his hit piece or tension between him and McDermott. They always discuss interview questions beforehand.

Regions and Characteristics of fans in region?
MJS replied to Riverboat Ritchie's topic in The Stadium Wall
Some of us are 2nd generation Bills fans who never lived anywhere near Buffalo or Western New York, but inherited the fandom from parents who moved to other parts of the country. That would be me. -
I personally think it would be better for the Bills if the Dolphins went into rebuild mode. That's another 2 or 3 seasons, at least, of them not being a contender, most likely. They have the ability to be a pesky team as it stands right now. On the other hand, a rebuild means there is a small chance that they get it right. I want our divisional opponents to be rebuilding as much as possible, though. Rebuilding teams usually suck.

I'd take it. That's a big pay increase for me.

Did the Bills purposely lose or is New England just plain stupid?

The Bills were playing for contract incentives and nothing else. -

I mean, that was a heck of a throw. Rapp should have stayed in coverage, though. -

They forgot to sacrifice their weekly virgin. Satan is punishing them. -
That kind of stuff WINS you respect as an offensive lineman.

Week 18, Bills v. Cheats, PREDICT THE SCORE!
MJS replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills: 26 Patriots: 20 But who knows? It is basically a preseason game. -
He is only 29 I think, but he has fallen off a cliff production wise. He just sucks at this point.
-
He sucks. We don't want him.
-
Yeah. I think Spencer Brown has been just as dominant, if not more so this year, but he doesn't have the name recognition or the personality.
-
Cook should have got in. That's a snub. Benford as well, but he doesn't have the INTs to get votes, so that is understandable. Spencer Brown should be in there, but oline is always a bit random. I don't think anyone else deserves it. We have a roster of solid starters and good depth, but not much elite talent.
-
Besides the Bills, of course.
-
Tom Brady's last year in New England was pretty paltry as the offensive roster around him was pretty bad. I was going to use that as an example, actually. He went to Tampa Bay and won another Superbowl because they surrounded him with a ton of talent. I like PFR Aproximate Value. You could look at that as a second option.
-
High QBR does not separate the QB impact from the rest of the team, the culture, player development, etc. Having good players to distribute the ball to, a good oline to protect him, a good scheme to operate in, good play calling, and a good culture of winning and growth are all going to positively impact QBR. The QB is the most important position in sports. He has the highest impact on wins and losses for sure. But it is also true that he can't do it alone. I'm not sure there is a great way to separate those impacts since they all play together, especially the coach and culture. But for the players, you could look at pro bowl and all pro players that they play with. That might be a way to show which QBs have to overcome more of a talent gap from the rest of the team and which benefit from dominant players at other positions. It still isn't great, but it is a start.

They don't. You get 3 free call ups. Ok, yeah, I think they changed it a couple of years ago to 3.
-
Am I missing something? Practice squad players can be called up three times.
-
I always want the Bills to win. That's a hard rule for me. I never root for losses. I don't care how it affects the draft. Half the players in the 1st round are busts anyway.
-
You don't know they are elite until they get in the league, unfortunately.
-
The elite guys are the only ones. The Bills don't have one of those.
