  1. They want to give him one but he is refusing to negotiate. My guess is he wants to be the highest paid QB in the league and knows that he won't get that unless he goes and plays out of his mind this season.
  2. I'm not sure how Brady getting to another super bowl is something Bills fans want. I'd be more happy if the Bucs go 2-15 and Brady resorts to cussing everyone out on the sidelines all season, like he is known to do when things don't go his way.
  3. Man, Miller looks like a defensive back standing next to Rousseau. Rousseau is huge.
  4. He said he is willing to be a backup now (and I assume that means backup money). That's a new development because all indications have been that he was always looking for a starting gig and starting money, which is why nothing ever materialized. Guess we'll see what happens. Well, I think they picked up on the fact that he couldn't throw a football very well. Once they took away his running, he had nothing left. I also felt like he got super skinny and that made him easier to deal with as a runner as well.
  5. Statistically, trap games do not exist.
  6. That could be specifically a pass rushing set. Those four would be a terror together. I doubt that is the normal starting four.
  7. Attacking the moment? Loves to play football? That is not hype. That is a coach trying to find something good to say about a player without outright spreading lies.
  8. Exactly. These are flawed studies.
  9. Exactly. Was it determined that their careers were shortened because of their injury, or just because that was the natural progression of their NFL career anyway?
  10. Tre isn't an average player, though. I would rather see the data for really good players. It is muddled from all the players who are average or crappy, who would have shorter careers anyway. We have a ton of examples of really good players coming back from serious injuries, including ACL tears, and playing at a high level. There's no reason Tre White can't be one of those.
  11. Just change it to flag football or something.
  12. Yep. He decided to party all night and do drugs. Pretty clear. And pretty stupid.
  13. Seems like he made some bad, bad decisions and lost his life due to them. We are all lucky he didn't kill anyone else. I don't have a lot of sympathy for people who do stuff like this.
  14. Not sure, but the article said there was another video that appeared to show that Langley threw the first punch.
  15. Fitzpatrick is kind of soft spoken, though. I'm not sure he would be great in a broadcast booth.
  16. Politicians and the media... But I guess we already knew where they were going anyway.
  17. This has nothing to do with the law. The NFL is not going to punish Watson according to the law. They are going to punish him according to their personal conduct policy.
  18. Diggs is always making fun of Allen for being chubby. Guess now we know why.
  19. Because they have to follow the rules. BTW, Joe Marino (Locked On Bills) just did a 2023 off-season overview where he looked at contracts, restructures, cut candidates, etc. The Bills can free up like $50 million in cap through various restructures. The big one will be Josh Allen. They can free up $20 million by restructuring him. There are also extensions they can make that will lower 2023 cap figures. Beane knows what he is doing. He has all these contracts humming perfectly. Yes, we won't always be able to sign everyone, but this is going to be a very competitive team for years to come.
  20. Seems like a slam dunk decision by the team. They have a bunch of fans on a wait list who actually want to go to the games. They have the right to revoke those tickets, and they exercised that right. Good for them.
  21. That's what happens when you suck at playing. You get benched. The offense went out and played amazing. Feliciano would not have done anything but make it worse.
  22. Wow, that sounds really stressful. I feel like I'm really lucky because I've never had to deal with any achilles issues. I played a ton of sports all growing up. Now I only get to play occasionally. I have dealt with my fair share of ankle injuries, though. When I was doing high jump in high school I would always get really bad shin splints. But I'd take those issues any day over achilles issues.
  23. Would like to see some of those Cam Newton roasts. One of the worst QB seasons I have ever seen. He was terrible. And the play calling showed over and over again how they didn't trust him to throw the ball. Somehow I think that didn't happen, because all Belichick ever did was talk him up as a good teammate.
  24. They have to show it before I believe they are the strongest conference foe. Nobody thought the Bengals were the strongest conference foe heading into last season.
  25. This year sometime. He is still entrenched as the #1 corner.
