  1. 4 straight Divisional losses with a generational QB would deserve quite a bit of piling on. But I'll say we take it 27-23 with Josh wearing the cape and controlling TOP
  2. The one comparison is I don't really expect much of an adjustment to be made defensively unfortunately. I think Josh will have to wear the cape but don't think he'll have a game like the Bengals one that's really his only postseason clunker.
  3. I think we'll see in this next test if he's gotten any better. I personally don't think he has, he hasn't improved at all as a game manager and is tight with making decisions late in games as we saw against teams like the Rams and Texans where he had no idea what to do. If we have a 4th straight Divisional exit with our generational QB...I'm not sure what the argument is that he's gotten better when we'll have literally just been stagnant for the last 4 years and peaked in 2020.
  4. The players also loved Dick Jauron
  5. Josh is probably going to have to wear the cape in this one
  6. It's not really satirical though because he's obviously using this sarcasm as a basis to defend McD's overall body of work in the postseason...which is objectively not very pretty That narrative is 100% true. Let me ask you this...do you think McD's side of the ball and game management in the postseason overall has been a strength for this team? I would disagree with the bolded part about Josh in "prior seasons". He's largely been fantastic in the playoffs, the Cincy game really being the only total clunker. Coaching and defense have been the biggest reasons why we haven't had success in January. I mean if you didn't see calm and poise in the 13 seconds game I'm not sure what to tell you.
  7. Yeah I would probably buy that as a roster we're more balanced and built for this...but our biggest problem still remains. It's possible it can be overcome but it's obviously still there.
  8. You know we’ll get the 1 seed the very first year they do that too
  9. For a coach whose defense has been horrific in every single big postseason game against any good QB and who literally blew the 13 seconds game himself and can't get out of the Divisional Round with a top 3 player in the NFL...beating Bo Nix is the flex? OK.
  10. Not sure how smart it is to keep Allen in and let him take more punishment with the game being over
  11. Wow that's actually a competent interview
  12. I remember Fat Freddie at Mama
  13. California and Florida have some similar issues where people are having a hard time getting their homes insured because they're in these fire and hurricane territories. That's gotta be really scary too.
  14. I mean this would be hilarious if he backed out and went to Vegas instead
  15. Yeah if you wait until really close you can sometimes get amazing deals. A friend and I went to one of our playoff games in KC and got tix like 10 minutes before start and they were great seats like 10 rows up close to the 40 yard for like $150 each. Unfortunately that was the 13 seconds game though.
  16. I’m pretty concerned with Bass going into what we’re about to
  17. For sure, this is the biggest one I'm hoping for. Also, great username.
  18. I agree he'll get a job but I'm not worried about him. I don't think he's anything special. I think he will. His podcast is popular and people usually let things go with time. As the great Ari Gold once said...the only thing people love more than when a celebrity tears themselves down is a comeback story.
  19. It would be cool to watch if we had any fun backup QB’s
  20. They're obviously not hiring Rivera. But Woody loves Rex...I honestly wouldn't take that off the table of being a realistic hire
  21. That part is hilarious to me. There is no such thing as a "rebuilding" year with an elite QB. You always have a shot with a top 2 (at worst) QB if you haven't completely bungled the roster. I've been saying this since 13 seconds. McD is the biggest obstacle for us to win a Super Bowl.
  22. I don't see how. He hasn't improved at all whatsoever as a game manager. He hasn't even improved on his challenges which have been a huge issue since Day 1. He's had 8 years to change something, either the guys that review it and give him their recommendations to challenge or not, changing something about the way he views them...anything. He's literally done nothing. He still makes rookie blunders. His staff is still highly unorganized. That last play with 9 men on the field...do you think that's the first time that's happened in the McD era? Things like that have happened on the biggest of stages. And it never changes. People like yourself say that...but then we see McD have these same exact blunders in the playoffs. One of which I probably don't need to mention but literally cost us the season in January. It's insane that #17's biggest obstacle to the SB is his own coach and that people defend it every step of the way.
  23. Probably...but at least you're still wiling to admit that it was a huge blunder. A lot of mental gymnastics are being played here where people are trying to say that because it's unlikely that we would've gotten a stop, it somehow means it wasn't a huge coaching blunder.
  24. Sure, but then they played prevent to put them right back in the same spot, they literally just gave them the completion with no resistance. And that took even more time off the clock. And this is McD's defense. It all falls on him no matter how much some of you try to deflect it.
  25. I disagree. For example, why was Campbell's 4th down decision so goofy? It was 4th and like inches and they have the best O-line in the league with a chance to end the game instead of leaving 40 seconds for the Pack offense that was looking pretty good to come back and tie the game. He's letting the best players on his team decide the game right there. There is logic to it, even if it didn't work. There is no logic whatsoever for the things McD did last night for example. Accepting the penalty only to run prevent and put them right back into a similar position, in this case even worse, and take more time off the clock. Running a QB sneak from the 1 when we needed to conserve all 3 timeouts to try to get the ball back. Calling a timeout when it didn't work, ending any possibility of getting the ball back without a miracle onside kick. 9 men on the punt return even after the Rams called a timeout for us to get it together. You can't even make it up. It's not even close to the same thing as a debatable 4th down call.
