Jerry Jones gets snippy during radio interview.
HomeskillitMoorman replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
They're kind of obnoxious too but nothing close to Jerry here. The guy is literally telling them that asking him adversarial questions is not their job and then threatens to replace them with corporate stooges. How is it not that bad that he basically just wants State-run radio? -

That was pre-Civil Rights Jerry coming out right there -
Cleveland Browns building a new dome stadium
HomeskillitMoorman replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
The weather is part of Buffalo football. I don't understand the people who want a dome for us at all. The level of unmanliness is incomprehensible to me. -

I prob would've gone fat guy too -
Cooper has lost a step so it's not a boon of a trade...but clearly Diggs was done here so Coop's the answer almost by default

Oh great this guy can't kick from 40+ either. Beane and McD definitely have a type. -
The reason it matters is because it illustrates where McD still is after 8 years. He has not progressed, and it's likely going to hurt us in the playoffs once again, as it almost always does. It totally is a meltdown. I'm never confident if the game comes down to McD's side of the ball. It's all soft zones and hoping the QB will make a mistake. McD is a coach that's built on beating up on bad QB's. That's why our defenses get torched in the playoffs every single postseason. Literally every single one. And he's never bothered to put in the work to change or improve himself.

If we somehow did get Garrett, the OP would have one of the biggest dunk opportunities in the history of this site This does eventually need to happen. It has to.

Brandon Beane on Pat McAfee Show
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
And blue collar. I don't want to hear that any of these guys have a degree or invested in Nvidia. -
What I don't understand more than anything is the amount of kool-aid that's willing to be drunk when it comes to trusting Beane and McD especially. Like anyone who was being rational could see this WR group was lacking but there's this way over-inflated amount of grace and credibility to a regime that has really underperformed with an elite QB. We're a franchise with a top 3 and we've had 3 Divisional Round losses in a row and nothing has improved or progressed since the AFC title game back in 2020. If we're being real...a healthy amount of skepticism is what McBeane have really earned here. But instead you get this sentiment of "You're all doomers if you say anything negative about this WR group! You just don't understand the talent and game the way we and McBeane do!" Being a realist is not being a doomer, that's something that was conflated with this topic and many others here.

They should be rapid-fire questions, even from our media. He probably wouldn't be able to answer most of those. It would be like watching a Presidential Debate, he'd repeat the question and then just deflect and talk about character, work ethic, and preparation...3 things he personally would know absolutely nothing about.

We’re in McD’s 8th season where this has happened to him a number of times and he’s done absolutely nothing learn from it. We’re actually fortunate it hasn’t happened to us a couple more times like last year vs TB. I’ve never seen a coach work less hard at improving himself than McD.

NY Mets 2024 Season
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Another Fan's topic in Major League Baseball's Topics
What a season! Most lovable team in my lifetime for sure, granted I've never seen a championship, but I've never seen a team of ours have this much resilience and fight. Anyone else in California or going to California for any of the NLCS games? -
Who gets poached first Babich or Brady?
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
Haha who gets to be McD's fall guy this time then? He's never going to make himself accountable. -
McDermott needs a end of game coordinator
HomeskillitMoorman replied to 86poker's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've never understood this as an argument to keep him. Who cares if someone else would hire him after we fire him? He's horrific at what he does, let someone else have him. -
Do you approve of the job Brandon Beane is doing?
HomeskillitMoorman replied to KentuckyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane and McD will probably stay here because of what the standards are for Pegula and a good chunk of the fanbase - to just be good. Nothing more. The standard here is not a Superbowl. That's just reality. We've been stagnant for 4 years now. What has progressed? Nothing has gotten better. Since going to the AFC title game 4 years ago, we can't even get out of the Divisional Round and we don't look to be any better than that this year. We are wasting a generational talent at QB. But for so many, it's good enough. It's sad to see because with a solid level of competence at Head Coach and GM, we'd probably have a SB by now and/or be in a better position today. -
We should be doing the same with McD but we won't

It's never Rodgers' fault, just ask him

Not challenging Dalton sideline catch or Cook TD
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD has done this sooooo many times in his 8 years here. It’s hard to comprehend how dumb of a Head Coach he truly is and how little effort he puts into preparation -
In the end it doesn’t matter. He’s the head coach he can overrule any call. He’s either incompetent himself or hires incompetent coaches. I would say because we have consistently had horrendous game management during his time here…the problem is him. Not saying this is what you did, but so many people for years would hold McD blameless for our horrible playoff and end of game defenses and say it was just Frazier, as if McD was completely helpless to change anything or make a different call or fire him and hire someone else. The guy simply has no idea what he’s doing after 8 years on the job and many more as an assistant or coordinator. His time to go was many years ago now.

Mini rebuild. Why is anyone that surprised?
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Blackbeard's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because this was still a winnable game if we didn't have far and away the worst Head Coach in football. -
Our Head Coach is a massive liability, has always been and will continue to be and that's the part so many are upset about. The players have the fight. They and the fans deserve someone better.

Postseason is ALL that matters
HomeskillitMoorman replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Except McD is a HORRENDOUS coach in the playoffs, and if those games are the ones that matter most....he's still a massive liability in those games. This guy's in year 8 as a Head Coachand doesn't know basic clock management and we're just supposed to just shrug and say "he's just learning!"? -
Belichick or McDermott. Who's the better coach?
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
Forget Mahomes, he doesn’t know how to slow down Philip Rivers in a big game Yet you’re kneel-down apologist for McD who can’t get out of the Divisional round and whose side of the ball costs us huge in every big game. How does that work?
