Happy Bday! Still so sad what happened to her. Hoping she keeps progressing!

Ask anyone here if they’ve been unable to have a civil discussion with me no matter what their view is. Even yourself. I’m not the one who just constantly tries to drag everything into some kind of insult war and is unable to just talk policy or political philosophy.

I would be cool if both Hunter and Trump did some time. Crack down on all of the elites on either side.

I'm not the one who's out of touch. My life doesn't revolve around the online politics world. Do you go out into society much? Most people in our country don't hate each other because of politics. This is probably a personal anecdote but I'm literally in Houston, Texas right now for work and lots of people were out at the bars over the weekend and very few people were even talking about this. And the couple conversations that did happen around it were pretty mixed opinions but everyone was chill and was just drinking and discussing it. And then we moved on to something else. That's pretty much what happens. The majority of people are not completely consumed by politics. You have literally said here that anyone who disagrees with you is your enemy. That is the online politics/Far Left/MAGA world, it's not the majority of the real world. Most of us can disagree with each other over a beer. But regardless of what happens, most people will move on with their lives. This "America died today" stuff is so incredibly dramatic. Especially from the people who actually think this will help Trump. It may, I think he's probably going to win. But I, as with most Americans, have a life outside of politics. You need some balance dude, this is just straight up unhealthy.

Go to Idaho and enjoy it buddy, I don't think anyone here is going to be creating endless amounts of threads complaining about it

What a drama queen post. I think some of you live in such a bubble with politics. The reality is, most people in our country either had a laugh or rolled their eyes about this and moved on with their day. This wasn’t some kind of transcendent moment that most people will tell their kids about or remember where they were for it. It’s probably not even consequential for the election. The high majority of people pretty much already know who they’re voting for. People writing things like “this is the day America died”…what? Go out and get some fresh air or something dude!

At this point with Elam I hope we can just salvage someone who can contribute even at depth/backup/spot starter level. He's a total bust at a 1st round pick but maybe we can at least get some kind of help from him and his little notebook.

Is yours? Our D has been awful in the playoffs even when relatively healthy. We gave up what, 42 and 38 in the other 2 playoff games vs KC?

I like what Conan said about comedy when he was on Hot Ones, that it's everywhere and there's all kinds of it and that there's nothing to complain about because you can find great comedy no matter what you're into. There's "vulgar", there's "clean", there's "old school", there's "new age"...you just have to look for it.

Yeah it's insane. He actually played great in this year's playoffs vs KC as well. He might've had a better shot in the very first one too if McD didn't punt on 4th and short like 3 times while his defense couldn't stop the Chiefs at all. I'll never understand how people don't see how much McD has killed us in the playoffs during his time here.

He's as good as his word in spending those resources on the defensive front...not necessarily on making it a strong one. Our pass rush is non-existent in any game that matters.

There's things that go beyond stats. There's some kickers who never really recover after a big missed kick like that. We all know at least one name. I hope he can rebound from it, but he's going to be under a lot of pressure this year, no doubt about it.

Josh is usually clutch...it's the Head Coach and his defense that always lets us down. I wonder what our "gotta have it" looks like on the defensive side of the ball, especially in the playoffs.

The issue for me isn't that we don't have an elite WR, it's that we really haven't had either overall quantity or quality. If you're talking about resources...a lot have been poured into McD's defense that gets torched in the playoffs EVERY single year. That's where our problem lies. We are so far from the problem being too many resources being used for the offensive side of the ball.

I'd probably have to go with this. Freddy Action was my #1 for sure and then I had to do some internal debate about Kyle, T-McGee, and my guy Moorman.

I somewhat trust Beane. It's his head coach that I don't trust at all.

So Josh's 1 atrocious playoff game that help sent us home outweighs all of his great playoff performances? And you're going to gloss over McD's defense getting wrecked in the playoffs every single year?

Allen played GREAT in 2 out of the 3 playoff losses we've had to KC. McD and his D have been horrific in all 3. Josh isn't the one holding us back.

He has most of the time in the playoffs. It's our Head Coach's side of the ball and decision-making that lets us down the high majority of the time when it matters most.

I think RG3's kind of a baby that loves to blame other people for what happened to his career. But I like Keon.
