Something different/special about the 24 Bills
HomeskillitMoorman replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m not sure there’s a whole lot that’s different about the overall product though. Not much of what Brady was doing was actually working, it was still a lot of Josh wearing the cape on 3rd and 4th down. Those are not high percentage plays, he’s just an animal but it makes it all so much harder. The ask from him is much more than the ask of the Chiefs from Mahomes. And we knew if we kicked the FG and made them score a TD…they would have. Same if we didn’t convert and they just needed a FG. McD knows his side of the ball can’t get it done when it matters most, especially against that team. I’m still optimistic because I think #17 can win us that game in January. But I think it’s the same story as all the other seasons in the playoffs under this regime…he’s going to have to be Superman for us to do it. -
Jon Gruden now employed by Barstool Sports
HomeskillitMoorman replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Right. I used to like Barstool years ago, not really anymore, but they have a big following obviously. A lot of people probably disagree because they still have so many followers, which is fine as there’s plenty of content to go around for everyone, but I thought their content started to become much more manufactured than it used to be. Also agree on Gruden. I didn’t like him on Monday nights because he was so afraid to be critical, especially of QB’s because he probably didn’t want to be disliked by them. I think he even glazed on Trent Edwards one night where he was literally just in Captain Checkdown mode and I just couldn’t believe he was watching the same game I was. -
Election Day/Week/Month 2024 Results
HomeskillitMoorman replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I haven't come to this section for a long time because it's so largely just hateful and it become almost impossible to just have normal discussions...but yeah a lot of people here forget that last part. Honestly myself included as I let myself get sucked into it when I was coming here. I'm more detached also because I don't like either candidate but hopefully people are at least somewhat cool to the other side if their person wins. But I have my doubts about that. -
It was probably because of last season and how it carried over and he had to basically win a competition to stay
-
I would say I agree that we have some issues in tight games...mostly for me because of McD.... But I heavily disagree that we should "let" teams keep the score close. There's nothing tough about that. You always want the mindset of stomping your foot on the other team's throat.

I’m here! I haven’t either actually

Keeping it in perspective, Bills win percentage
HomeskillitMoorman replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD's great in revenge games? We've lost to the same team in the playoffs in 3 out of the last 4 years, including one that he literally completely melted down in and blew himself. -
We need to be a lot better on special teams
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
ST have been a problem for a while now. We have a really weak kicking/punting game along with kickoff and punt coverage. It's a big weakness and we've seen like in the playoff game vs the Chiefs...it can be the difference. Absolutely zero work was unfortunately put in by Beane/McD to get better here in any area. -
Jerry Jones gets snippy during radio interview.
HomeskillitMoorman replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't listen to or watch that...but if that's the one with Chris Brown it's 100% State-run. He's always been a massive company shill. -
This is my big problem. The hardest part is helping my step-father, who is pretty old and lives in a different state and loves football but just has a hard time keeping up with how to get onto all these streaming services. The Sunday Ticket package, which I get for him every year, should absolutely have all these games on it. It is so incredibly ridiculous that on top of this package, people need to also have the apps for and get subscriptions to all of this other garbage. They do their own fanbase so dirty, but they know we’ll keep coming back. It’s infuriating.

Former Panther is at the top of their scouting report above all, so probably -

They're kind of obnoxious too but nothing close to Jerry here. The guy is literally telling them that asking him adversarial questions is not their job and then threatens to replace them with corporate stooges. How is it not that bad that he basically just wants State-run radio? -

That was pre-Civil Rights Jerry coming out right there -
Cleveland Browns building a new dome stadium
HomeskillitMoorman replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
The weather is part of Buffalo football. I don't understand the people who want a dome for us at all. The level of unmanliness is incomprehensible to me. -

I prob would've gone fat guy too -
Cooper has lost a step so it's not a boon of a trade...but clearly Diggs was done here so Coop's the answer almost by default

Oh great this guy can't kick from 40+ either. Beane and McD definitely have a type. -
The reason it matters is because it illustrates where McD still is after 8 years. He has not progressed, and it's likely going to hurt us in the playoffs once again, as it almost always does. It totally is a meltdown. I'm never confident if the game comes down to McD's side of the ball. It's all soft zones and hoping the QB will make a mistake. McD is a coach that's built on beating up on bad QB's. That's why our defenses get torched in the playoffs every single postseason. Literally every single one. And he's never bothered to put in the work to change or improve himself.

If we somehow did get Garrett, the OP would have one of the biggest dunk opportunities in the history of this site This does eventually need to happen. It has to.
