  1. I would say good things, not great. Great to me includes postseason success which we have not had.
  2. Hard no. Dude literally did nothing here.
  3. I have this jersey that I've never worn in case he needs some new clothes
  4. I mean in our case not even 2nd...but sure. If you look at where we've finished the last few years, I would definitely categorize us as being good but not great.
  5. He also has to draft for the scheme, which has meant a smaller and less physical defense than a lot of us here want. Not sure if it would be different if it was all up to him.
  6. The hype for that man was absolutely electric. I'm not even ashamed to admit I was totally gaslighted into thinking we had gotten a #1 WR as an undrafted FA.
  7. On some level sure. But we haven’t even been to the big game, let alone win it. Most years we haven’t even been close. We’ve been consistently good but not great.
  8. I'm not defending fans like that, I agree the guy behind the camera is a total loser. The cringe part to me was the "I'm rich" stuff, not necessarily that he even responded.
  9. I like the guy but not the football player...even calling him Micah Hyde Light is an insult to Micah Hyde
  10. I mean he is kind of a doofus and the "I'm rich" stuff is pretty cringe. But we just need them to get to the QB in January for 1 year. I don't like that we're depending so heavily on that...but that's where we are.
  11. I was responding to someone saying that it wouldn't be a huge loss if we lost Cook
  12. I do think it would be, as currently situated, more than just a "dip" in talent at RB. Cook did some really impressive things last season.
  13. I like the upside potential but it feels like such a coin flip on whether he’ll be healthy at the end of the season for a team that really needs a top talent on the d-line. What I don’t like is if he isn’t and the defense is awful for the 7th straight postseason, the injury excuse will come up yet again even though this is a big risk from the start.
  14. These aren’t the kinds of podcasts that grill guys though, it’s more of just a conversation and these specifically are not football people. Most players don’t go on podcasts that someone is going to ask really tough questions on. I mean McAfee actually is a football guy and he glazes all over Rodgers every week when he’s on.
  15. This one does suck. He's a clutch player, we need more of that not less.
  16. I agree with that. I don't really even agree that we've been "in the mix" every year. We got blown out in 2021 and 2023, the 13 seconds game year we still would have needed the offense to put up gaudy games for us to win the SB because that D was going to give it up big, just like 2024 and I don't know if we could've hung in there with the Eagles with our defense either this year, but you never know in the SB at least. But overall I don't think we've been on the doorstep that often over these past few years, that's kind of a narrative a lot of fans here have created.
  17. Seems like he has the time available
  18. He's fine...but I have the same concerns that a lot of people do about the lack of elite talent we have.
  19. I don't know how we can claim to be a stud franchise when we haven't won anything. We haven't even been to the big game. There were also a lot of people last year ripping on the Eagles for what they gave Saquon but that big swing helped win them a championship. I'm not saying spend recklessly but what we've been doing considering we have an elite QB has not translated into postseason success either. There's a cost to being too conservative as well.
  20. Depends on if they can get out of it after 1 year with minimal casualty. If so, it's not a bad move.
  21. I agree, it's not fair. But on the flip side, we in California get to watch the Bills at 10am and already know what happens before people in Buffalo get to watch the game in person at 1pm.
  22. That's a very simplistic way to look at it though. Like this year we put up 29 points in the playoffs vs one of the top defenses in the league and I believe had been the only team to score 30+ on them all season while allowing 32 points to a mediocre offense. The defense has let us down in the playoffs every single season of this era. That's where the real problem lies.
  23. I don't agree that the Bernard contract was silly in it of itself. If we have a good d-line, he's a really good playmaker. But that's the catch-22 here with the Rosseau signing IMO. I don't think this helps his cause. We needed a makeover on the d-line.
  24. It's not really the salary for me...it's the player. The guy for the most part is non-existent when it matters most, and got manhandled by our biggest rival.
  25. Dude that got completely bullied by the team we can’t beat and disappears frequently in big moments…4 more years!
