  1. Exactly! And ask why even then Beane and McD can't manage to put together a defense that can at least be decent in the playoffs. Beane is much more candid and transparent than a lot of GM's and I actually appreciate that...but he did kind of have a "how are you guys doubting us" kind of energy which I don't get. Like what have McBeane done on the defensive side of the ball that would rationally have someone trust them that they'll now hit on their picks and strategy and come up big...forget big even just come up decent...in January?
  2. Whose fault is that though? I don't mind Beane calling them out on other stuff...but Beane and McD have failed with the D year after year in a historically incompetent manner. There's never been a QB that's played this well in the playoffs overall and has nothing to show for it the way Allen has. We've needed that for like the last 6 years though and they've spent plenty of resources only to come up empty on defense in a huge way. There is something to say about the lack of credibility they've built to accomplish what we need on that side of the ball.
  3. I will say it’s wildly immature for a 21 year old to put his dad in an embarrassing position like that. I had assumed it was like a teenager. The prank call in it of itself, stupid but not a huge deal…but he totally humiliated his own father.
  4. I'm all about IGA scores and Gauntlet Speed
  5. They should be...Harbaugh might actually be but it feels like McDermott has a stranglehold here unfortunately. I'm not sure they'd can him even if we missed the playoffs. They should be. This is the best player in franchise history and we haven't even been close to winning it and he's almost 30. Something is wrong with what's happening when that's the case.
  6. Absolutely not. The guy literally disappeared. We need guys who actually might make plays on the big stage.
  7. Yup, and that's good value there. That's just what they do though, they're always making good value picks.
  8. Last year wasn't any different from his secondary in January than what it has been in his entire career here though
  9. Can't say enough about how the Eagles just get it
  10. Just now, good pick by the Chargers. I really like what they're doing in this draft. Wish we were doing the same with adding some weaponry for 17.
  11. If you're taking that logic though...spending big resources in FA and the draft on D hasn't helped that either
  12. Sure, but on the other side of the coin this regime doesn’t really have any credibility when it comes to the DL. We never generate a pass rush in January.
  13. Why are we always getting undersized DL who get pushed around in the playoffs?
  14. That's how I see it. We should be planning like we need to score 30+ in most playoff games to win...because we probably do. I'd like to see more weaponry added on offense.
  15. Never say that you can't do something, or that something seems impossible, or that something can't be done, no matter how discouraging or harrowing it may be; human beings are limited only by what we allow ourselves to be limited by: our own minds. He's undersized to along with a number of undersized guys we have that have trouble staying healthy into the playoffs.
  16. The Eagles draft defense the way I wish we did. Big and athletic.
  17. If you’re totally sold on a QB though I get it philosophically, it’s not worth risking that
  18. Haha beat me to it! First thing I thought of.
  19. She's losing to Sabalenka once again so far
  20. Yeah it's hard to tell with the others but I definitely agree about the Giants one. That game especially was horribly coached.
  21. I agree, I like Ty a lot but Freddie Action was on another level
  22. There's a huge difference in support structure. Look at what happened with the Catholic Church. Many even did come forward at the time and were either hushed up, weren't taken seriously, or brushed under the rug because of how powerful it was at the time. Or someone like Harvey Weinstein. And specifically in sports we've seen how powerful coaches and administrators can make things go away, like at Penn St. I agree that it does absolutely exist where women make these claims for money or exploitation and that should be dealt with harshly if it's proven. But I also think there are reasons for why people don't come forward at the time. Maybe sometimes it takes for them to meet someone else who went through the same thing, I don't know. But I would say things are different now.
  23. This is the problem with our Godless world today, everyone is against Fellowship
  24. I feel like we need to start a thread debating whether we should have a dome or not
