  1. He's kind of redundant with us having Foster, but there's no doubt the guy is super talented when healthy. I wanted him last year in the worst way. I'm curious where this leaves Foster now.
  2. I'm not going to pretend to understand it, but it's only 2 mill and a 1 year contract. Whatever.
  3. For me-it's a tie between the Tyrod trade and Sammy trade. It could eventually end up being the trade up to get Allen, but I don't think we can assess t worth of that decision until Allen gets some more years under his belt.
  4. At this point-yes. But sitting on this mountain of cash, that answer could change very quickly
  5. I'm imagining what people would think seeing a similar sabres hat ?
  6. 49. Jordan Phillips (26), DT, BuffaloHe’s one of football’s most athletically gifted defensive tackles—which makes his dismissal from Miami all the more unsettling.
  7. I hope it works out for him and the Bills, but it's a bit early to say he may be the number one WR. Let's hold off from anointing this guy as the next coming of Randy Moss at least until he makes the team.
  8. Edelman is a good player.. but in no way is he worthy of the HOF. And fwiw, Welker was much better than Edelman and it's unlikely he'll ever get in
  9. Yes, Brady had pedestrian stats in the super bowl. Big deal. Look at the season as a whole. He's got plenty left in the tank and he'd be silly to quit at this point (so long as he's not worried about sustaining an awful injury)
  10. Those are their records last year. He has the over under for the Jets at 6 and the Dolphins at 5.5 That being said, this is a reallllllly stupid article. You may as well call it the week 17 power rankings article, because this is before free agency and the draft. What is the point? Nothing has really changed yet aside from a couple coaches
  11. Nothing wrong with listening to Jim Kelly. After all, he may know a thing or two. I hear he went to four super bowls in a row. Even if he gives him bad advice, JA isn't going to just blindly follow whatever Kelly says. JA has a brain too
  12. This was kind of the first thing that popped into my head. At least have someone communicating with the refs via headset in game so that any egregious misses can immediately be rectified-i.e. the PI in the Rams-Saints game
  13. Philbin would be a great addition to the coaching staff as a positional coach. Would be nice if they told us what they were interviewing him for though.. I know this wasn't the topic, but how the fudge did Hackett land a job as Packers offensive coordinator?! edit: there is already a thread on this which I had not seen yet.
  14. Not really sure what you're talking about here with Poyer and AB not being able to coexist. What happened between the two of them? edit: coming into this thread a bit late. from what I've come to understand about AB, it sounds like he is the type of personality that Beane and McDermott have been actively trying to exclude from the locker room. I doubt they make a move for him, no matter how talented he is
  15. But it's not weird for the other thousands of people to have an opinion about how football teams are run? It's just weird because it's his mom? Football players are public personas, as are the people who run the teams. Being in the public spotlight means that people are going to have opinions on how things are done. Whether it's by your mother, your father, your fifth cousin twice removed, some guy you knew in high school, or the fans. They all have opinions and a platform to share their opinion. I guarantee there have been times where you have questioned the Bill's management or players about all the stupid things they have done. Only difference is you're not related to them, so it doesn't go viral Also, you say in public. I wouldn't call commenting on an Instagram picture "in public" So you don't deal with people between the ages of roughly 20 and 50? What planet are you living on? Also, LT's mom and/or Kent Hull's mom had their own set of opinions. People having opinions isn't a new thing. They just didn't have a platform (Twitter/Instagram/Whatever else) to espouse their (likely) stupid ideas You're blaming kids for parents who can't control themselves or don't realize that they are in the public's eye. Literally makes zero sense
  16. To pin KB's failings on Robiskie seems unfair. Motivation has been an issue with him since he got into the league. The other regular wide receivers (Zay, Foster, and McKenzie) would appear to have benefitted from Robiskie's tutelage if you go by their production in previous years/systems.
  17. I LOVE Mark Kelso on the Bill's radio broadcast. So knowledgeable and passionate about the game. We don't have cable, so when we don't go somewhere to watch the game.. I end up listening to the radio broadcast. This call just makes me like him even more
  18. He might still be that guy, but just isn't a good talent evaluator. I personally think he isn't that guy, but the jury is still out
  19. Nothing would make me happier than to see a few 6-10 seasons for the Patriots before Brady ducks out and moves to Florida to retire. As Bills fans, you know the type of season I'm talking about. The type where you're kind of in the playoff hunt but not really. The type where people within the organization start pointing fingers at one another because the team just isn't living up to expectations. The type where those Patriot bandwagon fans jump ship to KC. The type where they consider moving on from TB because he "no longer has it" The type where fans lose interest and you have to bring in a past-his-prime vet to give the fans hope that the team can still win. The type where you question whether you should be rooting for the team to lose for better draft picks.
  20. Usually I would prefer to get the highest pick possible. However, having a rookie quarterback.. seeing improvement in him is much more welcome than losing
  21. I could be wrong about this... but didn't he try to force his son (Brian) into the picture after his tenure in San Diego? Obviously, Brian has gone on be a successful coach, but he was just starting out when Marty was let go by the Chargers. My memory is he also tried to force his brother into the D coordinator spot with the Chargers
  22. Barnwell still whining about us trading away Tyrod . edit: i knew this one would be useful someday
  23. Gotta be happy for the kid. There were plenty of doubters. I was one of them, I thought he belonged on the practice squad till he figured out his case of the dropsies. He always seemed like a great route runner, but to me his real improvement has been actually catching the ball. Great UDFA pickup
  24. I'd like to see Allen improve (300 yard passing game?). I'd like to see competitive games. But I would also like to see us lose every game remaining on the schedule. I doubt it is possible to get all 3 wishes, but a guy can hope.
