Long shot, Abraham Wallace
freddyjj replied to MakeBuffaloGreatAgain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
in McDs D he looks like a Nickel CB to compete with Taron Johnson. Really brings it for his size. Agree he could be a good PS player as only 1 year playing as starter on D at any NCAA team. -
Beane: Gore will push McCoy to be the starter

Could it be Daboll is loading up for a fast paced offense with package substitutions? No huddle within the package. -
My 53 man roster projection
freddyjj replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for posting and updating. Hard to do as post draft FA and 6/1 cuts will definitely come into play. Agree on QB/FB/RB slots. WR ok with Roberts too. Can see him playing some role as had good numbers for 2 years in AZ. TE see Sweeney beating out Fisher. They are same type of player but Sweeney better receiver. Can't see Bodine lasting - trade for 5th-7th pick late in camp when injury happens around the league. Long and Feliciano can play C if need be. Feliciano beats out Teller all day given history at OAK and with our OLine coach. Waddle v Teller is Final OLine decision. Teller can go to PS as can Ike Boettger. Likely imo. D Johnson was drafted to play DE not SAM LB. If any DE moves back I see Eli Harold doing it as experience in league playing SAM. Mo Alexander is 6th OLB as Milano backup. See Joseph transitioning to SAM in McDs D. Agree someone could come in and take Stanford's job as backup MIKE. D Johnson has PS and weight training option. 4th DE is Harold's job to win. Expect a FA signee forthcoming. Siran Neal makes team as 5th S and ST gunner. Go Bills -
There are bonds being formed that transcend time and space. These two young men are Texans by birth, one is a Bills fan by choice, the other a Bill by chance. They are there for each other in good times and tough times. #Pancho Power. Viva Los Bills!

Oh wow he looks decrepit. Not sure he makes it back to the league. If he sits out this year....it's over.

Manuel for Bills needs to be dropped. Orton started majority of games in 2014 -

Very good point Chandler#81! I see Oliver, Vosean Joseph and even Jaquan Johnson as disruptors who will force TOs routinely. Granted only Oliver will start but Johnson and Joseph may be TO forcers on STs to start as both are big hitters. Could see Joseph getting SAM LB reps if Lorenzo needs a blow or sustains injury. Forced Fumbles / Interceptions / Sacks in college Oliver 5 FF in 3 years. 0 INTs. 13.5 sks Joseph 1 FF in 3 years. Also 1 INT. 4 sks. Johnson 6 FF in 4 years. Also 8 INTs. 2.5 sks -

“Still Miles Away” -Colin Cowherd
freddyjj replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No agenda on my part . I never said Cowturd is an east Coast guy - made his name at ESPN which is east Coast based btw - funny he works for Fox now. He is just a talking head who follows big city teams only. Would bet my house he couldn't name 12 current Buffalo Bills - so don't care what he thinks. Usually wrong anyways. -

Personally never been a fan of "Sellin Cowturds" - just a squawk box IMO. Rosen is also an East Coast media darling given his millennial, me-too, anti-MAGA agenda. Forget he has a weak OL and no receivers in MIA. They will struggle to win 6 games. Like most major media outlets, Cowturd caters to NYC, MIA and the supreme beings in New England. Wouldnt pass my litmus test of asking a media member to name 6 starters on each side of the ball. I do think Jets/Bills will be the great AFCE rivalry going forward in the next decade. Pretty cool that Allen and Darnold are buds too. -

Fact check. Jimbo had a 15. . this nickname idea selling like sushi at a convenience store -
The guys on the draft network shows said Butler was hurt by the following. Hakeem Butler has a case of the dropsies. A bad one… While watching his tape, it became apparent that Butler was not a reliable target. Not only did he drop contested catches, but uncontested ones as well. These drops did not occur as irregularities, they were a constant fixture of his play style. Butler dropped 12 passes in 2018, which rendered him a drop rate of 16.7%. Butler’s issue with drops appears to stem from a lack of concentration, but it is hard to pinpoint the issue. Whether or not it is curable at the NFL level is debatable. Plenty of receivers come into the league with an unwanted tendency to drop the ball and never progress past it.

The Magnificent Seven - Bills front 7

Fair dinkum. The question posed was why did he drop so far. I provided the possible reasons why. Btw I am a UB Alum and would have loved to see him, Hodge or Jackson drafted but with less than 255 guys handpicked I realize that the last 3-4 rounds are a crap shoot. Here's hoping they make rosters.

per Lance Zierlein scouting report on NFL.com - not a special talent or athlete. Weaknesses Clunky in working around press Slow to release and get into routes Lack of early speed for quick climbs past cornerbacks Dull footwork getting in and out of breaks Could struggle with quickness to uncover underneath Easy vertical wins could dry up against NFL speed Has habit of slowing strides when ball is in the air Very inconsistent deep adjustments Allows vertical routes to get squeezed against sideline Sometimes these guys think they are better than they are and it comes across in how they deal with teams - "no part of Buffalo Bills" equates to the thought he would be drafted elsewhere - SURPRISE! Best guess is probably a 1/3 chance of making Tampa's roster.

RD 6, Pick 181: S Jaquan Johnson, University of Miami
freddyjj replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LOL. Any of these 3 would have trouble making any NFL roster as this years draft indicates what 32 teams think of their talent level. All would struggle to make opening day rosters for legitimate reasons. Harmon can't separate. Hall can't catch. Williams is a red flag character guy. The Bills, and 31 other teams, are consciously saying no thanks. -
Tyree worked out for bills (Edit: SIGNED as UDFA)
freddyjj replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yes agreed. And Mobrey the TE and the other WR they had transferring as a result. -
As a UB Alum would like to see this but don't see Johnson as a NFL starter. Separation is a real issue and just meh as an athlete. Most of his big catches were scramble drills. Might be a UDFA at end of day.

Will the Bills go to camp with 9 RBs?
freddyjj replied to The Bills Blog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Murphy Ford and Wade won't make roster. Bills get one year exemption on Wade btw So down to 6. -
Every G and T signed this year were 6'4" and over 320. Risner didn't fit size archetype. Dean Kindig pointed this out a couple weeks ago.

Jones does not possess a strong arm by any means. And a very slow release. Horrible downfield accuracy. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/daniel-jones?id=32194a4f-4e16-5462-39a4-3b4fa743c66f

When did “Defense End” become “Edge Rusher?”
freddyjj replied to BillyWhiteShows's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Guess its part of the millennial's political correctness movement. Position neutral terminology. Also allows for self-identification as an OLB or DE or transitioning to/from each freely on the part of the player.
