  1. I'm pretty sure those Vineyard Vines wearin' , avacado toast eatin', kale smoothee drinkin' metrosexuals in Boston can't climb up anything anymore.
  2. well us Bill fans know that, being Gilmore, it had to be a non-contact injury
  3. Theodore Bruschetta and Rodney 'Personal Foul" Harrison are two of the biggest Patriots shills on TV. Rodney was brought to NE to replace Lawyer Milloy after gaining a rep as one of the league's dirtiest players. As for Theodore Bruschetta he is a West Coast San Francisco native who likes avacado toast and Kale shakes. 'nuff said!
  4. I don't know who he is but at this point he might be better than Big Ben...just sayin'!
  5. That makes sense to me. Both Kubiak and Daboll are St Francis HS grads - a few years apart
  6. Limited snaps. They could play him in 4 WR or empty sets to take deep safety away or force cover 2 man under coverage
  7. They gave McD some tips 90 days into his tenure here. https://www.localsyr.com/nfl/nfl-buffalo/mcdermott-dines-with-bills-legends/ McD made it a point to meet with the 90's stalwarts for dinner when he took over to pick their brains about that team and "His purpose, according to one of the legends, was just trying to figure out what made those great teams tick."
  8. @Shaw66 another great summary my friend. I agree with your assessment that Josh is still on an ascending developmental path. In the short term getting John Brown back will be the next ratchet up - hopefully by the playoffs. Can Daboll get the RB / TE screen game going to combat the pressure packages Josh will likely see in playoffs? The Pats and Fins may be good tests in this regard as both teams have shown these pressure packages.
  9. 29th against run at 4.6 ypa and giving up 160 ypg last 3 weeks. Not too stout. Add in DB woes and they look beatable from here.
  10. That is ingrained behavior to us long time BBFFs. This year I have tried to focus on matchups and because of that I think we win this week. They have street FAs playing at CB who will be asked to take away Diggs/Beasley and Davis. While they have great safeties who can help bracket, I can't see them being successful here. And they are susceptible to the running game. So hopefully Daboll will mix in some play action and let Josh take some shots.
  11. Not so fast my friend. Bills play @ 4:30 SAT 4/19. Fins / Pats is SUN @1 pm.
  12. For all Rochester bills fans, per the WHAM Newscast the game will not be broadcast over the air. NFL Network only? News to me
  13. It worked because Claypoole, being a green rookie, never looks at Tre before ball is snapped. Never saw it coming. A veteran WR could make him miss and if man to man would be wide open
  14. Wow, so they are playing minus 3 starting LBs, (Bush, Williams, Dupree) another ILB who was calling their D (Spillane) and a starting CB in Haden. That will be hard to overcome and whoever now plays ILB will never have made their D calls (Williamson from the Jets or the converted safety, Marcus Allen). Tough row to hoe! Haven't read all the prior comments but has anyone asked how much Matekevich might help scout team run Steeler's D in practice as he did sub as starter when they had Shazier tragedy. Wonder if he can help Daboll scheme versus the 3-4 front?
  15. Remember WED was a walkthrough only, no pads or shells or anything at play speed. Mongo could do that fine. Today they likely had a play count on him
  16. Really? Granted, he has thrown 27 TDs this year. But 21 came in 8 games versus teams with losing records. NYG, PHL, WFT, DAL, CIN, JAX, HOU, DEN. Not an impressive gauntlet. 21 rushes for 13 yards tells me he is not a scrambling risk any more. His last 3 games his Avg Yard per Attempt is only 5.33. And he's averaging 50 attempts in those games. The Bills can only hope this type of passing attack continues. I'm not impressed.
  17. yes I would go with Dane Jackson outside and let Norman play the slot and show Taron and Levi the bench.
  18. @T master I will personally pass on Mr Blount. Why, let me count the ways:
  19. No, I think Marcia and her geriatric squad would struggle to make playoffs if in AFC. 43 is a little too old to carry a team and everyone but Tommy Boy knows it. They are one and done in NFC postseason IMHO
  20. So are you the type of person who finds a $20 bill on the sidewalk and complains that it wasn't a fifty?
