  1. Bobby Hart's Motto " Per McClappy, i just need to be the best version of myself.. so here goes...I'm Baaaack"
  2. Zero point zero zero $$$. IMHO it was a textbook clean hit. Below head, above knees and not late.
  3. Lol. 😂. Jacksonville State might be one of only programs worst than 'Cuse. Next 😎
  4. Doesn't count as against 'Cuse. Nuff said.
  5. So lets hope he considers getting vaccinated now
  6. Beasley, Gabe Davis, Star, Vernon Butler for sure based on last week. Wonder if Poyer is given his wife's IG / Twitter comments .
  7. Wonder if Beane figures he'll be getting a comp pick for Trubisky in his decision to keep Addison. He gets a 6th for the last guy on DE depth chart (Bam Johnson) and may see a mid round pick for Mitch. Doubt he would have done better than a 5th/6th for Addison giving age and salary. Easier to keep Addison and pay him for final year knowing he could hep on pass rush part time and coach up the kids. Really look forward to a turbo or NASCAR rush package using Obada and Groot inside and Jerry and Mario outside. Trade the train horn for revving engines sound on 3rd down pass rush plays.
  8. So my two cents here. Andre Smith takes Bam's ST snaps Efe Obada has more NFL game experience at DE than Bam Obada has also played inside on DL and is stronger than Bam. Big advantage Obada auditioning for next year. Hughes and Addison likely gone in 2022. So Groot, AJ and Boogie are givens going forward.
  9. Sorry gotta call you on this. Will Wolford made 3 Pro Bowls as a Bill. So did Kent Hull. Jim Richer and House Ballard also made 2 each. So 10 Pro Bowl appearances for the 90s team to none for current Bills. That 90s Oline was very good at both run and pass blocking. Not true today.
  10. Thanks Corta. I believe the Jags are in dire need of a culture change. Not sure Urban Meyer is the guy to bring it about given his track record of different standards for players at his college stops. Protection schemes, play action and quick hitters are some ways to help Lawrence out. Etienne and the WRs are talented but it is all for naught if the O line is deficient. My read is some of the WR talent will force their way out like Ramsey and some of their D did after 2017 run. Not a place players want to go sign and play for. Building through the draft takes time and Meyer has shown he won't hang in tough times. Lawrence will turn out like Stafford in Detroit
  11. He played 6 snaps = Bears first 2 series. One assisted tackle.
  12. Wow he is headed to 5th stop in less than 4 years. Believe his personal Hell will involve auditioning for all 31 other teams in his career and proving they DIDN'T make a mistake by not drafting him.
  13. 1980 Oakland Raiders. Dan Pastorini, Jim Plunkett and Marc Wilson. They won SB that year.
  14. Maybe because if he did play in 2013 he would have been 41 years old. Believe you mean 2003 season. Although it is amazing how washed up Bledsoe was at 31. Brady has shown the move to him was warranted whether it was 2001, 2011 or 2021. Bledsoe was done in NFL after 2006 at age 34. TB12 is still going at age 44. Amazing.
  15. Bills outlay will drop precipitously next year, if, as expected, Jerry and Addison walk away. Like $20mm right there. And Star will not be far behind,
  16. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/three-bold-predictions-for-bills-in-2021-buffalo-will-win-the-super-bowl/ Summary: 1. Bills are a top 8 D and top 8 in sacks 2. Bills win top seed in AFC playoffs 3. Bills win Superbowl This is the first media outlet I have seen call any of these. Hope it's true.
  17. Checked the GHIN system, Golf Handicap Index Number - shows Beane is a 3.2 index at Country Club of Buffalo. So he is a very good golfer! Josh does not show up in NYS. My guess is he probably gets some strokes from Brandon when they play.
  18. Ok my take on the bottom of roster changes: The backup 1 DT is currently not on roster. Don't see Butler or Horrible Harry making it. Do see OBD keeping 4 eventually with Star, Ed and the Iron Giant (Zimmer) as 3 of the 4. A veteran pickup off waivers or a trade here is likely. CB2 will go to Levi but OBD has to be concerned about depth at outside CB. Can see another outsider being brought in. 6 CBs will make team with Tre, Levi, Taron, Siran as only 4 assured so far. The OL will be another revolving door at cut down time as Lamp, Hart and Douglas may bring trade offers for 5th-7th rd picks. Believe Bills will keep 9 and PS Doyle. LB will be only 5 at cut down as extra spot will go to DE, WR or TE/FB. Taiwan Jones, DE Johnson and Matekevich make squad as pure STers
  19. First things first - @Shaw66 as usual great write up and a pleasure to read as a result. @Doc BrownI share your concern about our Return game without Roberts. Hoping McKenzie can handle punts and wonder if they can use Breida on KOs. Not as worried about the Haack for Bojo swap as the hope is that Haack will help with pinning teams inside their 20. As for my read on team overall there are 4 areas we need to see dramatic improvement: 1. Run blocking - Ford's return and a summer with the 5 starters learning the system are the keys to improvement here. 2. DLine play - the return of Star and the addition of 3 new pass rushers should help the Bills get back in the top 10 Ds both against the pass and run. Oliver needs to emerge as a 3 down threat. 3. Edmunds does need to become a dominant player versus the run and pass. He showed an ability to pressure QBs when given the chance late last year. And he needs to help in the run fits on a more consistent basis. 4. TE play to add 3rd down conversion improvement and a down the seam threat. Hollister and Knox have the speed to threaten down the seam. Have not seen this in Daboll's scheme to date. Go Bills
  20. Lofton had already left Packers after 1986 season. He spent 87 and 88 with the Raiders before coming to BUF in 1989.
  21. Was at the regular season game in NYC as was down there on business. Forgot that Jim Kelly was hurt that game too. The Phil Simms injury in this game is why Hosteleter played in playoffs. It was tough sledding for the Bills on the ground. Giants ran the ball 42 times and had ball for 38 minutes versus Bills 22 minutes. No turnovers by either team but LT dropped a couple INTs and one was a pick 6. Thurman was stifled running but had a long catch on a screen. Might have been the most physical game I ever saw in person.
  22. Alvin Wyatt. CB early 70s. Facemask hint.
  23. As OBD likes flexibility I wonder if they try Lamp at C in camp and, if so, can he give Morse a run for the money?
