  1. So just sayin... And the winning Powerball #'s are....
  2. Dwight "Ike" Harrison CB - converted WR from DEN who had 17 picks in 5 years as a Bill.
  3. Kid had to get sober. Happy to see he did and wish him a new happy life.
  4. Is this the Stream of Consciousness Forum or the TSW? Cmon OP? Another thread? So my favorite kicker is the one that stays on the bench because we score a TD vs a FG!
  5. Annoying voice complied with a very punchable mug. Almost Theismannesque.
  6. Pretty sure Waller wears 83. Do like his game though.
  7. Chucky has his on. League focusing on COVID masks first I guess.
  8. Yeah I couldn't tell what happened from replay other than WR seemed to incidentally catch his knee with his cleats - maybe a bone bruise?
  9. How True @CSBill! This old fan is doing some busy work now, having some brunch then watching Masters finish before kickoff. I find that Jim Nantz's voice brings on somnolence as quickly as a sleeping pill, warm bath or hot milk and cookies. Love it when a plan comes together!
  10. Don't know why but Clifford Hicks and Chris Hale were some of my faves on SB era Bills.
  11. Frank Lewis WR in Chuck Knox Era. From Wikipedia Frank Douglas Lewis (born July 4, 1947) is a former professional American football wide receiver who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons. Lewis was drafted by the Steelers in the first round of the 1971 NFL Draft. He won two Super Bowl rings with the team, in Super Bowl IX and Super Bowl X.[1] In August 1978 the Steelers traded Lewis to the Bills in exchange for tight end Paul Seymour. Seymour was returned by the Steelers when he failed to pass their physical.[2] Lewis, however, remained with the Bills and the Steelers ended up receiving no compensation in the trade.[3] Lewis was a Pro Bowl selection in 1981 as a member of the Bills. In his pro career, he caught 397 receptions for 6,724 yards and 40 touchdowns.[1] So we got a really good WR for nothing!
  12. Good question here. I was convinced we would have played SF in 1988 but Bills lost AFC Championship game to Bengals in Cincinnati. The 1988 49ers would have featured Rice/Montana/Craig and as a finesse team would have been a better matchup. So saw earlier upthread that SB's 19-31 were won by NFC. Although Bills went 3-1 vs then NFC East (Eagles, Cards, Giants W's, Redskins L game 16 with starters rested) in 1990, it was obvious Bills were smaller, finesse team as compared to NFC East teams. The Giants exposed this in SB 25 and the Skins and Cowboys manhandled Bills in other 3. Even if Norwood made kick in SB25, outcome the same in other 3 IMHO.
  13. They threw a few more flags than we average (just shy of 6/game this year) in that game last year. As holding is now only called on ST kicks (it seems) this may expalin the drop 😎
  14. I wouldn't define 11 years, 177 career NFL games (with playoffs) and almost 40,000 yds and 260 TDs as a brief career. I believe that the Bills ability to run the ball was as important, if not more important, as Kelly's passing ability in the 1988-1993 era.
  15. OMG too easy. He wrote the article on the old tower PC in his parents' basement where he keeps his shrine to the Mt Rushmore of Patsdom - Brady, Belichik, Gronk and Edelman. They are all gone now but his fandom for all things Pats tells him they can still win the AFC East. "Maybe Next Year" is his new meditation mantra. Jets win tonight.
  16. Not sure this is the case. You can be called up from PS without being signed to 53 under CBA Covid special allowance clause
  17. https://buffalowdown.com/2020/05/28/buffalo-bills-why-is-tremaine-edmunds-being-overlooked/ https://www.buffalobills.com/news/why-bills-veterans-see-all-the-signs-for-tremaine-edmunds-to-emerge-into-a-defen Sorry but this is his 3rd year of calling D with green sticker on helmet.
  18. Well there are teams that do project talent. The kid only played 18 games in college over 3 years and had to transition from QB to TE. 39 catches in 19 games. And so far in NFL in 14 starts he has 34 catches for 481 yds at 14.1 YPC, 17 first downs and 2 TDs. Not bad. He is quick, can block and can get down the seam. The latter is a cover 2 shell beater btw which any good passing team needs. I'd keep him
  19. Wow pretty amazing #s, although he went to college at 230 lbs to play LB. Played DE at 270 and bulked up for NFL to move to DT. Hard to project him to DT given no history at D1 College level. Also, the NFL players on list are from 2006-2015 and includes 2016 prospects, so not last 20 years entirely.
  20. Agree, King got moved outside a couple years ago and was not effective.
  21. As has been well documented ad nauseum on other streams, Jordan Philips was playing 3T and was not good versus the run last year. I do agree he and Shaq were the Juice guys on the field for the D Line last year. The leadership of ZO last year and Kyle from 2 years ago is also lacking. Star played the role of run stuffer well, better than what we have now. Wow I haven't thought of this before but it's true. Offense Bills have been missing Feliciano our OLine Mauler since day 1 of season. Now Ford and Morse are out. Luckily they do have some depth on Oline. At WR, John Brown is the boost button on our passing game. Without his ability to run the deep double move patterns, posts or go routes, teams are not worried about Bills taking the top off a D. Now that teams are in a cover 2 shell Bills need to run well and hit the cover 2 window shot over CB between safety down the sidelines to make teams play differently. The TEs need to get back to help us down the seam and on those window patterns like Croft grabbed vs Jets. Defense At LB, I will admit to having concerns in preseason and came away from Jets opening day win in a panic knowing that Milano and Edmunds are the key cogs in Bills Pass D and Run game. We've struggled with them missing or being hampered in games. At CB, the Bills should be okay with Wallace and Jackson and may get Norman back. I wonder if Norman is going to be shut down do they bring in a bigger CB (Worley) to play various spots down the stretch (Nickel, Outside, Big Nickel)
