  1. So does Jim Cheyunski
  2. So time for an upgrade?
  3. I will share some blame. Had a late business meeting and got home just in time for kickoff. Changed into sweats but forgot my Bills socks. Won 4 straight with them on. Point of clarification. NOT A HIGH LEVEL BUSINESS MEETING.
  4. Gotta be honest, Manny will always be #2 to my favorite Sanders
  5. Not so sure paying Williams to play G next year is out of the question as Bills will have Brown, Doyle, Boettger, Ford and Bates on inexpensive deals. If OBD picks an OG and/or C in front half of draft then it will possibly spell the end of Morse, Willliams, Feliciano and/or Ford in 2023.
  6. #13 Gabe Davis gets some game plan love and works those intermediate sideline routes and the deep route in Daboll's under / over route concepts. 5 catches for 120 yds and 2 Tds
  7. Nick Wright re Bills as 3rd tier team - " Pittsburgh sticks out like a sore thumb" No mention of dismantling of his beloved Chiefs.
  8. "If they let me play deep safety instead, I would be this close to the Bill receiver"
  9. IMHO his most ignorant statement was when he was lauding Mario Addison and stated that Mario can play coverages and has led the Bills in sacks for the last 3 or 4 years. Nice prep work Chris! Not even close!
  10. Bills 27 Chiefs 17. Mahomes knocked out of game by Bills D
  11. That after 4 games in: Dawson Knox would have 4 TDs - the same as all Bills WRs total! The Bills RBs would have 4 rushing TDs - half of last years total RB Rushing TDs for the season! That the longest play from scrimmage is Devin Singletary's 46 yard run. Not a Josh Allen pass! That Bills Safeties would have 4 INTs >2 LB INTs>1 CB INT
  12. Agreed, on 2nd comment. The fact that Cam Lewis and JaQuan Johnson are next highest rated speaks volumes for how well coached the Bills are on D. A backup player on the 53 and a call up from the PS. Downright impressive
  13. So the NFL draft usually values certain positions in certain rounds. QB, Edge Rusher, CB1, WR1, LT are first rounders. DT, OG, RB and TE are 2nd Rd. LB, RT, S and C are 3rd and later. So Bills may be fine next year if looking at IOL, CB, and DT. An extra 3rd if someone takes Trubisky could come in handy.
  14. Jones is playing DE now in their scheme and not as dominant. Wonder if he will go up against Spencer Brown and Darryl Williams side of new O Line
  15. @Augie You can say that again. Monday Happy Hour?
  16. Spikes was an OLB here and for most of hid career. His injury sustained as a Bill cost him some speed later in his career but he was always a dynamic player.
  17. Cunningham was the dude who blew up Josh on a designed run in OT when Morse and Knox both chose to not hit next different color uni you see! https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/01/06/uncalled-hit-on-josh-allen-could-have-set-up-a-game-winning-field-goal-for-bills/
  18. Coulda woulda shoulda dep't is closed.
  19. When is their bye week? Or next trip to Vegas?
  20. My early read here: Bills are a top 5 D in pts scored against and 1st down % allowed both vs Run and Pass. Houston RBs and 3rd string QB will be in for a long day. Frazier likely to use run blitzes to stop the Run and get Pressure using blitzes to confuse the rookie on passing downs. The Houston D is average to sub on a good day. Bills should be able to establish run game and then use play action. lots of big plays in passing game as a result. The Houston STs are below average as well. Bills should also be able to set something up in return game. Bills are a top 5 Offense in scoring and can see them getting 30+ easily vs Texans - likely by end of 3rd quarter again. On the purely emotional side, the majority of the starters (Allen, Singletary, Knox, Ford, Morse, Feliciano, Dawkins, Beasley on Offense, nearly the entire D) will still have that OT WC loss taste in their mouths and want to get some payback.
  21. Bills get to 13 -4 if they: Go 1-1 vs Other AFC 1st place teams not from AFCS - KC and Pitt - need to beat KC now. Go 5-1 in division - 1-0 so far. Sweep Jest and Fins, split with Pats? Go 3-1 vs NFCS ATl, CAR, NO wins, lose to TB? go 3-1 vs AFCS - Jags, Indy, HOU wins, Tenn loss? Win extra game vs WFT this weekend, let's start there!!! 1-0 in 17th games!
