The Raiders have already had their drives extended 3 times from penalties (automatic 1st downs), and now an overturned turnover. Even if it was that ONE call alone, that's still proof Chiefs don't get "all the calls."
-
Well, we can't say Chiefs get ALL the calls... They're getting pretty screwed tonight 🤣

He was considered top 3 at times, just like Josh. He lead the league in passing TD's in 91, and was 1st team All-Pro at the position the same year (2nd team All-Pro the following year as well).

There's no way Lofton ran a sub 4.0 second 40... Has anyone ever done that?
-
I think it's in his best interest to stay here. I know, I know, biased coming from a Bills fan, but I think leaving such a good thing with Josh behind could end up in a Peerless Price type way. He's great, but having a top tier QB & top tier WR opposite of him gives him so much more freedom.

There are still some pretty obvious issues, but nothing that can't be overcome. The most concerning ones that could derail us against good teams are: 1. Injuries - This is the big "DUH" in the room. Defense has been getting battered. Despite only netting 3 points, a rookie QB was able to move the ball pretty consistently for large chunks of the game (and even pick on Elam repeatedly) 2. Run Game - A lingering concern that I see as primarily a run-blocking issue, not a RB one. Singletary has shown he can find the open holes when they're there, it's just that he's often hit immediately after getting the ball. 3. Turnovers - Every team has them, but we can't keep putting ourselves in bad positions early & rely on the defense bailing us out. Honorable Mention: Points off turnovers - We had a chance to take a pretty commanding 2 score lead early, then went backwards, got a FG blocked, & walked away with 0 points. This isn't the first time the offense has done nothing after a turnover either. This could be a deciding factor against better teams.

I was pulling for the Browns. Yesterday I predicted 3 upsets - Browns > Chargers Jets > Dolphins Giants > Packers So I was really pulling for the Browns, but they screwed up right at the end with game in-hand! Still, 2 for 3 ain't bad 😅
-
I know it's not going to affect the final outcome, but these kind of sloppy mistakes are what will kill us against good teams.
-
Elam just making Pickens look like Jerry Rice...
-
That was one of the craziest TD catches I've ***EVER*** seen! Gabe Davis is a CHAMP!
-
It's only the 2nd quarter, but Browns are up on the Chargers 14-10, and Jets are winning 12-0 against Miami! Upset alert, let's go!
-
Missed a wide open Diggs for a TD earlier, threw that awful pass, a lot of batted balls at the line... It's becoming obvious he's struggled since week 3.
-
Obviously a gnat flew into his eye as he was throwing.
-
This sloppy play is killing us... We commit way too many turnovers for what's supposed to be a SB contender.
-
Allen really needs to focus on getting his passes up, because this season it feels like he's had more balls batted down at the line than I've ever seen from him the past several years combined.
-
Oh look, Elam getting picked on again
-
Is it too much if I say once again "this is why I prefer a dome?" 🤣 Please don't stone me to death
-
Ouch, that hurts 😥
-
Seems the Steelers are going the Dolphins route & just sending the blitz constantly to get to Allen. As long as he gets decent protection, he'll find the open man.
-
People got so mad during preseason whenever it was brought up Elam was struggling... Then he got beaten out by a 6th round rookie from the same draft to start the season. It's pretty obvious why (even if this catch was out of bounds).
-
Oh man... I was about to snap if the Bills gave up yet ANOTHER 3rd & long 😅
-
Pickens looks great so far. Even though the defense is missing a lot of pieces, you can tell he's very decisive.

This is so true. I can't tell you how many times YouTube has recommended me a "European reacts to NFL _____" video the past year or so... And the few I've clicked on, people seem genuinely excited & interested when watching (at least the younger crowd). There's probably a lot of untapped potential in the younger European market, but the issue would then be "how do you get kids to start playing?" I've heard one of the biggest hurdles (aside from teaching the rules) is that American Football is nonexistent in their schools, so you'd need to invest in supporting local clubs of some kind for kids to participate in.

Woohoo! Thank you Giants, I'm now 1/1 so far on predicting upsets this week 😆 Now I just need Browns > Chargers & Jets > Dolphins to get the hat trick!

10/9/22 Gameday Steelers at Bills Pregame Thread
BigDingus replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's true. I just see a lot about Hightower, & he seems to be able to get pressure on his own. I'm not convinced our O-line is even mediocre, so not sure how they'll handle him.
