  1. We would've got the TD if McKenzie didn't screw it up.
  2. Wow. Seems to be the only thing I can say this game. This team is crumbling under the pressure.
  3. How? Benford obviously held, and it was the right call. If anything, we got lucky since they got called for a hold too. Either way, an "elite" defense shouldn't be such a pushover on 3rd & long.
  4. This defense has been soft on 3rd & long for EVERY team. It's been a reoccurring theme for a couple years now.
  5. That was embarrassing, on every level. Wow. I hope they replay that absolute stupidity back for them a million times when reviewing film. And yes, I'm salty 😅
  6. This is a game where all those dumb turnovers come back to bite you. Can't be so careless with the ball. McKenzie wasn't even looking
  7. So they average about 15 less yards, & basically everything else is the same. That's nice, but it's hardly indicative of some huge success figuring out TE's. And we all know Kelce is just a different kind of TE anyway. One of the best pass-catching TE's in history, just under Tony Gonzales, Jason Witten & Gronk (Chiefs are so lucky to have had 2 of those guys), and he's been great against us. 2020: Reg. Season - 5 rec / 65 yards / 2 TD's Playoffs - 13 rec / 118 yards / 2 TD's 2021: Reg. Season - 6 rec / 57 yards / 1 TD Playoffs - 8 rec / 96 yards / 1 TD So I guess we can be happy we cut his TD's down from 2 x game to 1 x game! But realistically, Kelce will likely get his. We just have to hope others don't step up & that we can at least make it difficult for him in the redzone.
  8. I may have still set the bar too high...
  9. You might not have a lot of people on this particular corner of the internet agreeing with you, but I don't think it's a weird take at all. It's why you see fans of many other teams enjoy watching both Allen & Mahomes so much, even more so when they're competing against each other. I can't "hate" Mahomes either. I went to Texas Tech when he was the QB, I desperately advocated for him & wanted the Bills to draft him in 2017, and then he went on to become one of the most exciting QB's to ever play in the league. He's not disrespectful, he's a good community guy, he always gives back to Lubbock & Tech, and has a good relationship with Josh too. But hey, all is well that ends well! We got our guy, he developed into a franchise player, & now is the only player spoken of in the same breath as Mahomes. Not Rodgers, not Brady, not Burrow, not Lawrence... just Allen & Mahomes! 😁 So instead, I direct my hate towards the Chiefs as a team & other players who are openly cocky (like Tyreek was). Or I just point my anger towards his idiot younger brother (who even seems to annoy Patrick) 🤣
  10. 100% agree. Sure, it's inevitable we'll have some bad calls against us, but even the best teams get that (like the Chiefs last week with that awful roughing the passer call against them). And if they're going for the handsy, illegal contact stuff against the Chiefs this week, I hope they put it to good use against Kelce. He alone can make it a long day for the defense if they don't make it hard on him from the onset.
  11. I had the same thought! Had to Google it after seeing the map, but nope! 🤣
  12. Has their ever been a 0-0 tie? If not, I really hope I can witness history tonight
  13. Those Chicago unis are so hideous... but in a way it makes them awesome! Just like the old Tampa Bay Creamsicle pirates, the ugliness is the actual appeal.
  14. These maps always are so interesting... Like what was the thought process behind "let's put Jets vs Packers as the game for ALLLLL of Texas.... except for Waco... they get Bucs v Steelers!" 🤣 I don't care either way, it's just funny to me.
  15. You say that... but by the end of last week, the most exciting thing was rooting for the score to stay 6-9. Get it? Yeah... that immature thought was the only thing I had left to enjoy while suffering through that garbage.
  16. They can't come back soon enough imo. But the unis are nice regardless of helmet, so we always look good anyway 😉
  17. Whatever happens, it HAS to be better than last week's Colts v Broncos disaster... This has to be an upgrade over that mess.
  18. Tbf, the Bills have had some of the best officiating I've seen in years. Rarely has it been problematic, and never to the point of awful. Just a couple years ago it seemed the Bills couldn't get out of their own way, especially against good teams. Any flags that have screwed us over have been pretty blatant after the replay shows up. Fingers crossed it doesn't change this week.
  19. This is one of the most interesting breakdowns I've seen. It's simple to follow & illustrates how huge just a few small things can be. The pass into triple coverage to Shakir? Typically not the look you want, but the pass was good & the catch even better. Wilson threw it to a less contested area, yet his pass was just a bit off & receiver didn't put the effort into it. Just goes to show how much it means to these guys when they see Josh stiff arm a guy fighting for extra yards. Makes them want to fight for everything & give all they got.
  20. "6. Justin Herbert: The Chargers will screw this up somehow." This was my favorite 😅 If they were still in San Diego, I'd feel bad for them. But being LA's backup team, it's just funny.
  21. I honestly don't think it's smart to give up much for CMC. You just used a 2nd round pick on yet another RB... one that's supposed to be a great receiving threat. That's what CMC is best known for, not his rushing ability (though he's solid there too). Now we're going to trade more picks, just 5 games into the season? We're going to add an expensive, injury-prone RB to the roster when our cap is already going to be strapped next season anyway? None of that changes our actual O-line or their ability to runblock either, nor does it fix the biggest issue - short yardage situations. 3rd & goal at the 1 yard line, you going to use CMC to pound the ball over what we already have? Is he going to be any better on 4th & inches than just using Josh Allen? He's still an upgrade, but an upgrade at what cost? That's my issue. If they win a SB, it's all worth it. But investing huge in another RB (in both cap hit & trade capital) after already using a 2nd this year is not usually a recipe for success.
  22. Diggs WAS leading the league in TD receptions... but thanks to the awful Raiders, I'm sure that's not the case anymore 😡
  23. Raiders really pissing me off... I was up 40 POINTS in my fantasy league, with Kelce the only player left on my opponent's team! He's got 33 right now! 4 TDs later, can you guys start covering him?! 🤮
