  1. Life gave me lemons (an Unfortunate last name), so my way of making lemonade was making a joke of it myself. Thus "BigDingus" as a username was born, and continued use from 7th grade to age 35... ๐Ÿ˜…
  2. "And right as I was taking my last step, a giant "Billdo" smacked me upside the head, sending my old a** staggering back down the stairs & taking a few nearby children with me..."
  3. This thread is on page 65! Do you think I'm some kind of mad man... taking time to review what's been posted here at this point?! ๐Ÿคฃ
  4. Hey, *NEW* details! At least according to this video I'm sharing before watching -
  5. Gonna be honest, I don't get how this news has anything to do with the Jets being perceived as a threat... sarcasm or not ๐Ÿ˜… That'd be like news coming out that DaQuan Jones or McKenzie wanted a trade, & Jets fans saying "but the Bills are such a huge SB contender!" Doesn't really make sense ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
  6. Facts. I'm really pulling for Elam, and I genuinely think he will be good. I just don't think he's anywhere close to the level of DROY at this point though. Sauce Gardner Devin Lloyd Jack Jones Travon Walker Tariq Woolen All players at a better spot right now regarding that specific conversation. But perhaps with more play time, he'll grow more comfortable & start climbing the ranks. Even if he doesn't, not everyone has to be as good as Tre White off the bat. I personally think Elam's struggled quite a bit, but I also love the fight he brings each play. It's the thing I appreciate about him the most.
  7. My fantasy team is looking really lame too. I never pay attention to BYE weeks, as I always assume I can just grab a guy or 2 if necessary to fill those gaps. Not this time! ๐Ÿ˜… Josh Allen Stefon Diggs AJ Brown Dalvin Cook Tyler Higbee Dallas Goedert I had to pick up Taysom Hill & set him as a FLEX starter I'm so desperate, & I still have 2 slots to fill... I may just not even try, as I'm not cutting anyone else.
  8. Reality is he just was too raw, didn't have strong coaching, & simply wasn't good enough yet. I know people like to act like he was simply DESTINED to be great no matter what, but I think that's a huge disservice to Josh. The amount of time & effort he dedicated to improving his play cannot be understated. People love to focus on the plays he can make, but remember he also improved dramatically in his ability to identify & dissect defenses, audible out of plays, the pre/post snap reads, his pocket awareness, etc. etc. etc. That stuff wasn't there in college. He's could have all the physical tools in the world, but what's between the ears matters even more (see: Tom Brady). That's why I attribute Allen's success almost entirely on his own shoulders. He put in the work to shore up those issues & maximize his strengths, therefore he deserves the bulk of the credit.
  9. Odell. CMC is the better player, but it's not like he's going to pound the rock in those short yardage situations where the Bills struggle most. He doesn't help our run blocking either, so he's primarily a receiving threat. We just invested a 2nd round pick in another one of those, and it's only week 6. To go after CMC, you'd basically be saying you wasted that pick & don't have confidence Cook will turn into that dual threat guy. At least Odell can be a more reliable #3 than McKenzie, and if someone gets hurt, a more reliable #2 if pushed into the spot. We've also been struggling in the redzone, so another 1v1 guy that can create his own looks would be great.
  10. At this point, I'd take him just to prevent the Chiefs from getting him. That, and the fact I don't have a lot of faith in Isaiah McKenzie, especially if he's asked to fill in as the #2 WR at some point.
  11. Excuse me sir, I don't let facts get in the way of hating on Brady! ๐Ÿ˜ค Now get out of here & don't come back (unless the facts support my Brady hate)!
  12. As long as Brady keeps benefiting from the calls, we can all sleep well at night ๐Ÿ™ƒ
  13. C'mon Stef, hook your uncle up with a real phone! He's out there with some Wal-Mart prepaid s*** ๐Ÿ˜…
  14. Remember when people used to defend lack of 300 yard passing games or Tyrod's 60 yard outings? ๐Ÿ˜… It's a passing league, & clearly a sign of a competent offense. Now here we are talking about one of OUR QBs possibly breaking 5000 yards! Oh how the times have changed ๐Ÿ˜
  15. Side Note: Mods - please don't lock this thread or ban the OP! This needs to stay open until at least week 9! Also, it's guaranteed to be comedy gold ๐Ÿคฃ
  16. It was obviously both. To succeed in the NFL, a lot has to go right & fall into the place. It was Josh. It was Daboll. It was McDermott. It was Diggs. It was Beasley. It was Jordan Palmer. All these guys (and many more) were invaluable to Josh's development & growth. Who were the only successful QB's from that 2018 draft? Allen & Lamar. Who were the only QB's with the same OC for most of their careers? Allen & Lamar. Granted, Greg Roman didn't take over as the actual OC until 2019 (the year Lamar won MVP), but he was already on staff as Assistant HC in 2017/2018. But to this day, I still give the most credit to Allen's own work ethic & commitment. He's basically the anti-Kyler Murray. He knew he was raw, knew what his weaknesses were, knew he could improve, & dedicated all his efforts into doing so. With that being said, he deserves the most credit.
  17. Oh for sure, I agree with you 100% I'm just saying they should've bit the bullet earlier, & that $850 million would've gone a lot further, coupled with the money not spent on renovations.
  18. Just think of the extra money they'd have saved if they didn't keep putting band-aids on the Ralph & actually invested in a new stadium when it was semi-affordable. Vikings: US Bank Stadium - $1.23 Billion (2021 dollars) Colts: Lucas Oil Stadium - $907.6 million Cardinals: State Farm Stadium - $612.3 million Cowboys: AT&T Stadium - $1.64 Billion Texans: NRG Stadium - $530.2 million Falcons: Mercedes-Benz Stadium - $1.69 Billion I'd say the sweet spot would've been around the last renovations deal, investing in a stadium like the Vikings' US Bank Stadium. It broke ground around the same time, and even with inflation cost just over $1.2 billion. Even with higher costs in NY compared to Minnesota, factor in all the costs spent on renovations & you're probably still coming out ahead. Oh well, coulda-woulda-shoulda!
  19. Because Romo is one of, if not the smartest guy in the business. Just look at this clip - literally predicted what kind of game it would be and the EXACT score at the beginning of the game -
  20. All I want to say is: VON MILLER DIFFERENCE IS REAL! 2 crucial sacks, 4 tackles, guy was a major asset today! ๐Ÿ˜
  21. This game highlighted once again that CMC would not fix the glaring short yardage problem. Run blocking was improved this week, but CMC doesn't help improve that area.
  22. I don't care what anyone says, Elam is a huge liability. He can get a pick every now & then, but he's still too green to cover anybody well
  23. Another embarrassing outing by the defense. The decision to squib was also dumb overthinking. It took 2 seconds off the clock & gave them way better field position.
  24. See McKenzie - that's what you do when a ball hits you on the hands!
  25. Bills offense = 3 redzone trips, 0 TD's Allen fumble FG McKenzie trips over himself, turnover on downs. Definitely rising to the challenge today...
