  1. Steelers have only 1 lass sack than us this year. Alex Highsmith is also tied for 2nd place with most sacks in the league at 5.5 (just 0.5 away from #1). They're not AS dominant without Watt, but they're still capable.
  2. Oh I hope so, but the Chiefs have been pretty dominant over the Raiders in recent years. 2021: W - Chiefs 48 / Raiders 9 W - Chiefs 41 / Raiders 14 2020: W - Chiefs 35 / Raiders 31 W - Chiefs 40 / Raiders 32 2019: W - Chiefs 40 / Raiders 9 W - Chiefs 28 / Raiders 10 2018: W - Chiefs 35 / Raiders 3 W - Chiefs 40 / Raiders 33 So yeah... Chiefs outscored them by 166 points the past 4 years, averaging 38+ points a game compared to the Raiders 17.5 I HOPE the Raiders win, but it's not often they're actually competitive in their matchups 😓
  3. This is all true, but a lot of it stems from typical anti-Americanism & nationalism. American Football is more dangerous than Rugby, yet people pretend pads make it LESS violent. The name of the sport is also a sore spot, as they can't get over the fact we call this sport "Football." It's like the metric system or using Fahrenheit instead of Celsius... Americans are just stupid amirite?! Even if none of these things are significant or impact their daily lives, it annoys them to an insane degree (measured in Celsius of course). I can guarantee if they had their own NFL teams, the second one of them beat a US team, their pride would skyrocket & instantly generate interest. 😅
  4. I think the issue is transporting the entire crew that comes along with NFL teams when traveling. There's way more than just the players that have to be transported. Pretty sure it's somewhere around 150 people go with the team, coupled with all the equipment, clothing, & supplies. It's a huge operation to transport a team domestically, which all becomes a lot more complicated when traveling overseas.
  5. C'mon Giants, you're one of my 3 potential upsets this week... you got this! 😆
  6. Sir, this is a Denny's... And by that I mean - can't you see this has become a thread for MEMES?! How dare you discuss topic-relevant things!
  7. Yes, there are times when an obviously stupid lawsuit pans out, but this guy has absolutely no chance. Aside from being in the act of breaking the law as it is, he also snuck a cannister of unknown gas into the stadium, then proceeded to unleash it inside... exposing players & fans alike to something potentially dangerous. Wagner can easily say he didn't know what chemicals were being sprayed everywhere & feared for his safety. Releasing an unknown gas into the air, running past players & security while doing so, could easily be considered as a potential threat.
  8. I met Taron Johnson's parents at the Houston airport... does that count? 😆 It actually did change my opinion of him, as he was still a rookie that I didn't know much about, and his parents were insanely supportive & friendly. Made me really pull for him even more.
  9. I'm bad at predictions, but if I had to guess upsets, I'm going with - Browns > Chargers Jets > Dolphins And if I have to pick a "big" upset, possibly Giants > Packers. Super unlikely (Packers -8.0 favorites), but they've looked pretty bad lately. I like the Falcons one, definitely could happen. I went back & forth on that before just going with the Bucs since they're at home. C'mon... I'm not going to knock anyone that predicts a Bills loss, but a Kenny Pickett-lead offense putting up 34 on the #1 ranked defense? At home? You're a monster! 😆
  10. Cowboys usually play on Fox though. CBS is open to whatever, and Dallas tends to prioritize Bills this year over Texans.
  11. Exactly. People act like it's some sign of weakness if you pay attention to how other teams/players are doing (outside of Fantasy). It's normal, basically just the fan version of scouting. Side Note: I actually kind of like Mac Jones. Not like rooting for him or thinking he's a great QB, just that he's been showing some personality & passion lately, both of which I appreciate (especially from that typically lifeless organization 😆)
  12. Now that I dropped DirecTV, I'm even more glad I moved back to Dallas from Lubbock. Seeing the last few coverage maps, it seems the NFL thinks West Texas is all Texans fans. Dallas on the other hand, they get a little Bills bubble carved out for them each week! For that, I'm eternally grateful 😆
  13. But what would be his rate? Is a 1 year, $8-$10 million a "panic buy?" Hardly. Also, last week we were down to 3 healthy **active** WR's available for the game. Depth is important, and the rate we're sustaining injuries isn't a great sign. Davis is still not 100% either, so we don't have a legitimate #2. With Knox not being nearly as productive as last season either, it's smart to look for additional talent to help the passing game.
  14. I'd give away my left nut for an OBJ right about now...
  15. I know everyone's joking & having a laugh (no issue there), but I still kinda feel for them... divorce sucks 😕 Obviously, they'll both get on with life just fine though.
  16. I learned that having at least ONE of our All-Pro safeties back there can really make a difference! 😁
  17. Can the NFL implement a midseason draft? Throw everyone's practice squad players into the pool & allow college players to declare mid-season, then bam! Fresh bodies to destroy! 🤣
  18. I think you meant he needs to "start making a few plays" & "Cook has been underwhelming so far." It would be nice if he could be spread out a bit more, but he's had a few timely drops which probably lower the staff's confidence in him.
  19. Everyone says RBs are a dime a dozen? Considering all they've used, seems more likely the awful O-line that can't get a push is the issue...😔
  20. Might be time to stop trying a million RBs & just tackle the actual issue - O-line
  21. True, but Allen has been dangerous with his passes lately & has been getting a lot of balls tipped or batted down at the line. Some isn't his fault though, the line is just letting guys run right past them with ease.
  22. Is honestly baffling that so many fans still defend this O-line. Even when healthy, they're not good. Allen covers many of their flaws, but our RBs are impossible to judge when they get hit immediately touching the ball.
  23. Yeah... this team is failing on all cylinders. Gonna be a long day.
  24. So it was another tipped ball. Everyone can calm down. Or you can just complain about how many tipped/batted down balls we have this season...
