It's a challenge for me. On one hand, it's great and Gug is a valued member of the community. On the other, think of the value he could have offered to the world in all of that time spent posting....

Seattle is a 1.5 hour boat ride away from me. I had been going to a game a year there until the tickets went sky high. I now do a Bills away game and, including flights and accommodation, might spend $150 more in the end. The Hawks are my other team, but I would give them about.02% of my fanhood and that may be over-estimating.

I can't get to enough games to unequivocally state that I much prefer the stadium experience. I watch 15/16 games a year from the comfort of my home, but that 1 game is the one I look forward to most. Minneapolis this year, Nashville next. Nothing gets me as excited for football as joining my fellow Bills fans and singing the shout song at the top of my longs in unison with them.

Then he could be both king AND queen of WRs? -
Sean McDermott’s Current Approval Rating

You have summed up my thoughts better than my brain could have. Then again, I've had 4 documented concussions so maybe both of our brains are scrambled and this point is moot. Food for thought..... -
Build a dominant O-Line!

They aren't breaking up that line. They have the money and the culture to attract him back. He would be a fool to leave. -
Buffalo's reputation amongst free agents

I'm thinking screens over the urinals and in the showers with a looping video showing the home locker room and training facilities narrated by Dennis Leary telling the players how much better things would be if they were there. No mute. -
Build a dominant O-Line!

Nelson and Kelly really make that line elite. Good tackles and above average RG, but it's having those two that elevates the entire line. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - WHAT A MEAL!
MiltonWaddams replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It took me too long to read this weeks review due to living in denial. Denial of the knowledge that I don't get to wake up tomorrow and watch our Bills play. Denial of Kyle retiring. Denial of an inability to watch the continued maturation of Josh Allen until August (!!). Having finally read it, I wanted to take some time to thank @Shaw66 for taking the time week in and week out to provide his insightful take on the game. Now, back to denial. -

I think Tyler is looking for a facility that provides the very best in walker and golf cart technology. -

1993 Houston Wildcard Comeback- Where were you guys
MiltonWaddams replied to Ice bowl 67's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I had a ski race that day and finished my runs and headed home. My dad and I drove and listened to the game on the radio. We were pretty dejected, but kept it on. We sat in the car in our driveway for most of the last quarter, afraid we would jinx it if we moved inside. Awesome memory. -

A wee bit premature. Actually...ridiculously premature.

This is the one I have circled as an away game. My wife has family there, so that makes it affordable in addition to being a great city to spend some time in. I was thinking there or Dallas, but Dallas is hardly a draw.

Cards Reporter hearing Mike McCarthy to Browns
MiltonWaddams replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the rumors about Arians only being willing to return to coach Cleveland are true, this is a ridiculously dumb hire. If you're going for a re-tread, go for the one who is a winner and is actually liked and respected by players and coaches league-wide, not the guy with massive personnel influence who couldn't take the QB with verifiable GOAT qualities to more than 1 Super Bowl. -
Who Are You Rooting for the Rest of the Way?
MiltonWaddams replied to BUFFALOKIE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seattle and LAC I live close to Seattle and we have a good group of Hawks fans here in town that make it fun when they are winning. I like Rivers and think he is due for some success. That and Lynn make it easier to root for the Chargers. -
Josh Allen during the pick 6

Is it too early to have a Josh Allen jersey tattooed on my entire torso? It really seems like it's time...... -
4 year, $36 million extension for Quincy Enunwa
MiltonWaddams replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love the thought process here, but you lost me when you mentioned Ertz. Chances of Philly giving him up are exponentially low. Logan is a good dude and I'd hate to see him on the street after what he has been through here in Buffalo, but he is not a top 2 NFL TE on a team looking to compete whereas Cox surely is on the right path to be one. As such, it is also doubtful he is available on the market. Jared Cook needs to be on the short list though. -
This is exactly what I was going to recommend. As a player, I understood basic concepts and knew where I had to be and why. Transferring that to coaching was a challenge. Understanding the whole concept of the D, O and special teams was a tough assignment and reading coaching books was a game changer. Also, consider coaching youth football. It is rewarding and informative and will have you watching games a different way.
