  1. Lamar at #12 may just be the best play if OBD is hell bent on acquiring a QB. Not my choice, but a developmental guy well worth exploring.
  2. $@&€% I sometimes wish I could swear on this board. This is very much one of those times.
  3. They did sign Jordy....to mentor Amari. The WR crew in Oakland was running sloppy routes, making big drops and acting like a bunch of prima donnas in the process. Jordy is the definition of a professional. His role is to lead a talent like Amari to be the best version of himself. No way the Raiders make that move.
  4. Will Compton is no speed guy and that's the only report of a visit we've seen in the past 48 hours. This regime has been full of surprises though. Last off season, mny of us, myself included, looked at the signings that were made and saw a lot of holes. They somehow pulled it together and there were a number of guys to exceed expectations. This year, the LB, WR and right side of the OL positions are glaring. Let's hope the magic continues.
  5. Based on his history, one has to hope so. Based on need, one also has to hope he exceeds expectations.
  6. Rich get sooooo rich on this one. What a defence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Preston is replaceable, but the issue is that he is not easily replaceable. Look at FA and find me a guy of his caliber that can slide right into this defence. Nope. Can you guarantee that the Bills can acquire a better, if not at least equal, talent at MLB through the draft? Nope. This is why they want him back and I can't agree more. The $4 million value seems good, but I imagine that the leading tackler in the league last year is looking at closer to $6million.
  8. Excellent deal. Best one for a qb this year by a longshot
  9. Ain't a chance anyone got Stanford. He was a "Who the hell?" signing.
  10. I used to work at a bar. We'd get inside tips all the time. No, we didn't.
  11. He was a tackling machine when he played last year. He isn't the 2015 player, but he is still a helluva lot better than a bunch of starting NFL safeties
  12. So weird. That guy is awesome. Doesn't fit a need here, but he is going to make someones defensive backfield better.
  13. True...but you may have missed her rather provocative red dress photo.
  14. Late night wobbly pops? Love your exuberance, but I'm tempering my expectations. Beane and McDermott do inspire confidence, but QB's are no sure thing.
  15. It's franchise to youngster that really has been most successful. Favre-Rodgers, Bledsoe-Brady, Brees-Rivers. You can't really use the Matt Flynn to Russell Wilson year in 2012 as an example, but I guess some might.
  16. Jets are, sadly, doing some decent things today.
  17. I would hope that, with the talent on that D, they would want to really compete. Those two do not say "I want to compete". I guess, as a Bills fan, I currently can't say jack. Peterman (and Webb?) is a pretty sad sack QB room.
  18. I think Marcus Maye is going to be a good one. Might just be me...
  19. Hated him a lot less when I found out Belicheat had a problem with him. When the Devil hates you, you must be okay...
  20. Sorry, saw this after I posted...but 100% agree.
  21. Do you honestly believe that the value of your bank account has anything to do with the perception placed on you by bigoted, small-minded people? If that is honestly true, then you need help. What a ridiculous meme.
