  1. I don't think it was ever officially filed with the league.
  2. I imagine a guy like him would have a good selection of mirrors in his house.
  3. The word was that the CFL would not let him sign a one-year contract. I wonder what the end-result contract looks like. Maybe he makes himself into a Flutie story and goes and gets a bunch of MVP's and Grey Cups, returning to the NFL as a savvy veteran creating a QB controversy.....with some other team. hope for his sake that he actually has his life together and can right the ship that was once sailing towards a rather lucrative, if not successful, NFL career.
  4. The " Dr Cappuccino, 32 NFL teams and every other football organization " line was fantastic. So many great barbs in there
  5. I was wondering about the Cog and Wood cap space. I'm also intrigued to see if anyone here is actually in the know on this.
  6. At least we know a Kelly family member posts here. Either that or a blind and deaf person who cannot actually see the games or see or read the news. Because he's a Kelly doesn't mean he's a) a good qb or b) a guy worth rooting for. He's neither in my book. The only reason to cheer for him is to send good vibes to Jim. If that's your rationale, I'm OK with that. If you honestly believe he is either a or B, then you are delusional.
  7. Are the Bills doing an art installation? He does serve to have a degree of talent in that venue.
  8. It's NC, and that's Daughtry country. Them Jersey boys can stay up there where they belong.
  9. I never argued that idea. I could only argue how ridiculous a concept it was to consider the Chargers would do it. Apparently the guy is a decent pass rusher? Who would have thunk it?
  10. I'd seen the video a week or two back, but I still love what I'm hearing. Can't wait to get reports out of rookie camp this week.
  11. Kinda thought he would be announced as signed this am. Good fit for that 3rd RB spot. Seems we've seen a number of vet FA visits this offseason that haven't panned out. With the limited cap space, perhaps Beane is playing a game of hardball like no other.
  12. Huh?! Sounds like he was afraid to run it too. Under 120 yards a game is pretty pathetic.
  13. I applaud her as a Bills fan and would like to steal her wardrobe for my wife.
  14. One worry I have with Morgan is the past few years of drafts by the Hawks. Shaquill Griffin, a very good player, was their best pick in 3 years. Other than that, they have had a number of whiffs. They seem to be clueless on how to build an O line, IMHO the Bills biggest weakness this coming season. They also have done poorly in selecting WR's, the Bills other main area of weakness.
  15. I don't understand those that think Jackson has a good chance to be the best qb in the draft. Watch the play and listen to interviews with each of the top 5 guys. If you, like me, judge your qb by Lombardi's, tell me who comes across as a guy that can lead a team to them? I cannot see a Jackson-led squad in the Super Bowl. He is an incredible athlete and fun to watch, but he is far from cerebral.
  16. His position in Seattle was essentially to be over-ridden most of the time by Schneider and Carroll. Perhaps he can help instruct Beane and McD on how to not de-construct a team with dynasty capabilities. Seattle needs to dump Pete so badly.
  17. I could only hope that Chargers management is that stupid. Keenan Allen was incredible last season. Up there with Landry as the top possession receiver in the league.
  18. So much venom. Somehow hilarious to my infantile mind.
  19. It's a nice piece of trash talk. Sadly for him, he's got no structure to support it with.
  20. Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but de Beer and Mike Love are both UDFA signings. Beer and Beach Boys-sounds like a great Saturday night circa 1984
  21. I disagree. He made some throws last year that were nothing short of incredible. His ability to roll out and toss a ball 60 yards while running towards the sideline avoiding completely un-blocked defenders is awe-inspiring to anyone who loves watching a qb toss the pigskin. That being said, you are largely speaking the truth and that's why I am advocating for him to spend immense time on the practice field, the film room and listening to the coaching staff with a focus on Daboll who has been witness to how the GOAT prepares and can assuredly pass on some of that wisdom. Game time will come and is obviously a mandatory part of his maturation process into a legitimate franchise quarterback. Which I just have to trust he will become.
  22. We can't use the Wentz/Goff/Wilson model with Allen. He's far too raw. No matter how good he looks in TC, they have to let him sit at least half a season and see the game, picking up its nuances and really settling into his mechanics and footwork. I want greatness, but he needs teaching and not throwing him to the wolves is the right call.
