  1. Was Steve Young a "scrambling QB" or just good on the move? Same question applies to Russell Wilson.
  2. I know mead has been championing this pick for a bit, but I do think Ferguson could be a sleeper. I like his WR, Anthony Miller, a bit more, but Riley played big in big games and showed an impressive command of that offense when I watched him. 2nd round? No. 4th or 5th as a flyer? I could accept that.
  3. Can't hate loyalty. Hell, wouldn't be a real Bills fan if you didn't have it in spades...
  4. Or, until he fails...and I am thinking that should be around preseason. If he is drafted by the Bills before the 4th round, I will repeatedly state his last name in a very loud voice. Or at least that's what I will tell my kids I am saying....
  5. Did he, or did he just have low eyes/small face syndrome?
  6. I just envision a guy with a giant five-head. Rosen does not have one of those..
  7. I would not be surprised if he was picked at 12 if the early run on qb's goes down as expected. I would not be happy, and would immensely prefer Lamar if they were both on the board, but it would not be a shock in the slightest.
  8. Thank you for offering zero value. It's good to see you not even try to do anything but garner negative attention. Can you regale us with tales of your immense football knowledge?
  9. I love the punters with personality. Him and Pat Mcafee are great for the game. Most of those guys are dweebs.
  10. Interesting timing on this topic for me. I just put plate covers and a new window decal on 3 days ago. Am looking into getting BILLS as my plate, but as I have a car that only takes premium, that might be a bit too ironic.
  11. Hmmm...strangely reminiscent of the Toronto Argonauts....
  12. I could not have picked a better time to go to a country with extremely limited internet for 2 weeks. Prognostication is sweeping the nation.
  13. Also, who knows if he is actually angry about these statements about him or just motivated to prove them all wrong. Though it seems petty, he could more likely be someone that cannot wait for the opportunity to say "I told you so". IMHO, an effective QB is one that exhibits great confidence and personal pride. I played with a guy who used his detractors as fuel and it drove him to the most intense focus ever. He didn't have the inherent skill and athleticism to go beyond being a mid-level college QB, but he took that focus and moved it to the business world and sold his software company for over $200million 4 years ago. I loved playing with him as he didn't take less than your best every day and demanded you improve every single practice. It's awesome to be around.
  14. Fantastic Gunner. Very un-biased and analytical approach and that is refreshing here. One month more and we'll see how this all pans out in terms of draft positioning, but this is a long game with all of these guys and I cannot say I've been more interested to see a draft full of QB's progression like I am with this one. Thank you.
  15. The reports of 4 meetings clearly exhibits an interest in him by the Bills. They are doing their due diligence on a kid with some questionable character traits, but also one with an overwhelming desire to excel at his craft and with a lot of evident skill. The talent is there, but the mental fortitude is the thing that has to be a cause for concern for the brass at OBD. I think we should all agree that, if Mayfield is their guy, they will have done the most in-depth assessment possible and we should be confident that they got a guy that fits their long-term goals and one that can be assimilated into the much-talked-about process. Beane and McDermott are not the type to tolerate a fool.
  16. My neighbors German Shepard. He's got all kinds of prognostications. He also thinks his crap doesn't stink and has a thing for licking toes.
  17. AM: They treat you good in the B'lo? TT: Oh yeah, I have full commitment from the head office. AM: Oh, really? Nice work on that contract re-negotiation bro.
  18. I'm not thinking grinder will be a real thing in camp. Just doesn't fit with McDermott's whole ethos...
  19. Nothing is happening pre-draft, due to the uncertainty around what they can do with their current assets in a trade-up scenario, but This is the best opportunity to acquire a WR1/2 ( because KB is a WR1/2). It would surprise me more if this didn't happen than if it did.
  20. I'm not certain that there is a NFL WR that could really hurt the Bills at the position right now. Worth a look
  21. I believe you meant All Pro. We all know he is physically similar to Brady, why hold him back like that?
  22. This new topic could not have been more required. Thank you so much!
