  1. It was a bummer. I kept waiting for the spark but it never came around. The infinite Bengals third down conversions were met with a lot of *siiiigh* "They just look like they're completely outta gas today." Just the worst time to have their worst game.
  2. He called me a doodiehead. I had no choice but to retaliate with the heavy artillery. I called him a poopface.
  3. Haha not really, man. Just messing around. I dunno, sometimes I see similar posts and I just think, "Hey, the dude does his job pretty well already." Since his rookie year I've seen the guy as a gamer, especially earlier in his career. It wasn't always pretty, didn't always go according to plan, but you could see the dude was gonna give it his all every down.. I think other comments have made fair points that some of Allen's mishaps are on the OL. Yeah, we don't wanna see fumbles but with as much as he scrambles and runs it just kinda comes with the territory I think. We also know the injury last season had some affects on how he could play. He does seem to have cut loose a little bit now that his relationship ended. I dunno if that was negatively affecting him or not. There are a buncha rumors and BS surrounding the Bengals playoff game. Either way, dude says he's never been more focused on the foosball. Hopefully he stays healthy, the revamped OL gives him more than 0.004 seconds to throw and the other dudes who are there to catch ball and run ball do good at catch ball and run ball. Ball.
  4. You'll go make spicy salsa and you'll like it! Make sure you don't rub your eyes or your mcnuggets when working with hot peppers.
  5. They don't call him "Stick Movin' Gabe" for nothin'. ....I don't think anybody calls him that, nor should they. What an awful nickname suggestion. I hang mah head in shame.
  6. That crap irritates me. These "fans" don't seem to realize these guys have lives outside of football. I wonder what they'd say when you tell them some dudes don't even love playing, they just discovered that they were really good at it and could make a truckload of money doing it. But no, you got these boneheads who think they should be doing football 24/7. The entitlement runs pretty deep with some of them. Stevie Johnson posted an old tweet of his on his IG yesterday. It was from like 2013 or 14 and he was like, "Remember, I've got you on my fantasy work team! Get me some points today at your job." Something like that. Stevie was a mushroom, a real fun guy.
  7. Cripes, some of these comments. It's like why waste the time and energy to be a fan if you're just gonna be sour grapes over everything the team does? I've said it before, they could to win the Super Bowl 49-3 and some people here would still be like, "Yeah, but Josh has GOT to be more careful and not throw that third quarter pick!" "You mean the one that bounced off a helmet at the line? Oh, and it was also 35-0 at that point. That pick?" "Yeah man, that's the one! Can't have that if they wanna now be perennial contenders!" That'll be how the goal posts get moved. "Yeah, McBeane turned around a middling franchise and made it a desired location among free agents. They installed a true culture and made the playoffs five years straight before making them for a sixth year and finally winning the big one." Some "fans" would still be like: "Yeah well, McDermott still is not the guy for me and I'd much rather prefer an offensive minded coach who once sat next to Sean McVay on a flight to Denver." That'll be the only requirement at that point. Interview process like, "Okay so you coached under the magnificent Sean McVay?" "Uh...well, not really but I did see him in a Target once." "Pssh, say no more, you're hired. Here's your headset." Bah.
  8. Holy crap, some of these comments. Yeesh. Yeah, teams do this all the time.
  9. I like that they aren't the media favorites this year. I like it when they're under the radar. I think on paper they look improved. The situation at guard got better, and hopefully Spencer Brown is healthy because I'm sure they want him to lock down that right tackle spot. Torrence looks like he could be a good one. Hopefully things fall into place a bit better than last season. Thought Kromer would have the OL performing better but I think he was a bit of a letdown last season. I like that they shuffled things up at receiver and added Kincaid. We'll see how they play it but I'm interested to see what Shakir can do with a larger role. Also interested in seeing what Shorter can do. If I had to guess I'd say the WR group, at least at the start of the season will probably be Diggs, Davis, Shakir, Harty, Sherfield, Shorter...maybe they keep seven, I dunno. Run game could be solid with Cook, Hines, Harris, and Murray, I'd guess? It'll be interesting to see what McDermott does with the defense. Getting Hyde and Poyer back at full health will be good. Hopefully Tre can get back to his old form. Everyone wants Elam to lock down CB2. And we'll see who they roll with at MLB. I expect them to be a little more unique with their looks and pressures. Hopefully more aggressive as well. Like I said, it all looks good on paper. Just gotta put it all together.
  10. That Twitter screenshot I posted, he wrote it in a story on his IG. Everyone's been trying to decipher what he means by it but, and this is a description I saw on a different comment, Diggs seems to treat social media like he's still in high school. Like, he'd post something like "real eyes realize real lies" and not be ironic about it lol.
  11. Diggs' comment with the whole "let them cap" thing aren't even his own words. It's directly quoted from this tweet: No idea who that is or what it all means but whatever. Seems weird to think the dude would let personal issues bleed into his professional career... especially if it's some crap over ex's and such. This is the dude who had two different dates in the same hotel on Valentine's Day. If he got burned then that's on him because that's the game he plays. When he was on the Vikings he was like a unanimous answer when teammates were asked "who on the team wouldn't you let date your sister" or some whacky BS. The guy wants to be viewed as a leader and has the C on his chest. That means showing up and doing your job even if you're not 100% on the same page as your organization. Go handle those issues and be a professional in the meantime. It's part of what they pay you for. Egos. They've all got 'em. Probably impossible to play the game at this level without having insane confidence in yourself. Whatever it is, seems like it should get worked out. I think. I dunno. I'mma go watch curling or some crap.
  12. They usually bring the rookies along slowly but I think Kincaid has a chance to see more playing time than most Bills rookies due to them wanting to have as many weapons out there as they can. I'd guess something like 35 receptions for 550 yards and 4 or 5 TDs.
  13. Solid signing. Probably means Von isn't ready until a month or two into the season. Miller, Rousseau, Floyd, Epenesa, Basham? Does that look aboot right? Unless Shane Ray miraculously steals a spot.
  14. I remember in 2020 they had to deal with a lot of players shuffling in and out on defense and it forced them to mix things up. The numbers weren't where they were for like '21 and '22 but they were definitely more aggressive. They mixed up the looks a lot more, more blitzing, more stunts, etc. They gave up some plays but they also seemed to cause more pressure, sacks, and turnovers. I hope it's more of that, like, let them get after it as opposed to keep everything in front of you and don't give up the big play.
  15. The comments, good lord lmao. If this guy doesn't rack up 60 sacks, 30 forced fumbles, 90 tackles for loss and generally becomes Aaron Donald and Reggie White morphed into one then this board gonna implode.
  16. Hadn't he been dating Brittany since hike school? First time the dude has been free to date around in a long time. Let him do his thing. He's focused on foosball! I have a family member with a small business that was patronized by Brittany sometime last year. She said she was a bit much. Came off real high maintenance and had some unreasonable expectations.
  17. He was just never as involved as people expected. Last season he averaged about four targets a game with two or three catches for around 26-27 yards. He took over in that game against the Pats in 2021 but never really came close to that type of performance again. He seems like a nice dude but in the NFL he's probably seen as just another guy.
  18. This was my thought too. The dude was really good in his first few years. The type of player you'd want in free agency...the Bills just signed him about four or five years too late. Sometimes I felt like it was fair to question his heart and how much he bought into the culture. Too many times we'd see him get beat and then just stand there like, "My bad, homie!" At the end of the day he's probably like a lot of other players at his age. His mind and spirit are telling him he can still go while his body been trying to tell him since like 2017, "Yo, we done! Go sit down before you get another quarterback squished by a 330 lb. DT."
  19. I remember seeing Preston Williams have a few moments in past seasons and he looked like a guy to keep an eye on. We'll see what happens.
  20. Mountains outta molehills...it's like these knuckleheads have incentives in their contracts. The more crap you make up the better the holiday bonus or something. Buncha turds.
  21. Surely the most judgmental spouting off in here are all Adonis types...
