I remember this. Definitely strange. Marrone strikes me as someone who seems incredibly insecure and very concerned with others perception of him. In addition to these shenanigans with Graham, there was that awkward interview he did which was the first time he spoke after ditching the Bills. The reporter thought it went pretty well and then later that evening he gets a call from Marrone who's all like, "Don't run the interview" for whatever reason. I think the writer had already submitted it by that time. And then I think Marrone was like "whatever" but then called again sometime later and was saying like he spoke to his wife and decided he wanted the interview to be published. Something strange like that. Dude is a bit of a whackadoodle.

If Douglas can go then I think they'll manage with a combination of Elam and Jackson. If Bernard can't go, that could be a tough one with Kelce out there. Dorian Williams has the athletic ability to cover him but he's never covered anyone at Kelce's level so, who knows how that could go. Bernard looked devastated getting carted off, thought it'd be way worse given that situation. Even if he can go he's not gonna be anywhere near 100%. Weird feelings for this game. Part of me is like, man the defensive injuries are too much, they're not gonna make it. Then the other part is like, nope not this time Patty.

Josh's TD run was pretty gnarly. I feel like he's been waiting for one of those runs to break big and it finally did. There's just something about watching that dude when he's determined. It's like he makes up his mind like "it's mine and you can't stop me" and yeah sometimes it doesn't work but when it does, it's awesome. Shakir's TD was also a big time play. For all the talk about Bills receivers being on the low end of YAC, this group has had some really awesome run after catch moments this season. Shakir broke that 80 yarder against the Jets and Diggs had that 50 yarder against Miami where he broke a buncha tackles and took it to the house. The main takeaway, unfortunately, is the injuries. If Elam can go for Benford and they get Rasul back then that's workable. But Bernard being out is tough. Dude has truly been one of the MVPs on defense this season. Can't say Klein didn't do well but it's da Chiefs soooo...hope everyone can get healthy.

Win or lose, after every game I check this forum with the thought of, "Wonder what someone's crying about now" and it never fails. Bills could go win the Super Bowl 56-0. Josh could go 34 of 37 for 512 yards and 6 TDs. Diggs could have 14 receptions for 253 yards and 3 TDs and someone would be on here saying, "They really need to execute on that second and five from the first quarter! Diggs only took 19 steps in his route instead of the correct 21.3 and Josh's ball placement was precisely 0.42 centimeters off. Has to be better!!" Some of y'all make me wanna run headlong into a brick wall with this dookie.

It's kinda funny he signed with the Colts because one of my main memories of the guy is him tripping over his own feet and fumbling vs. Indy in that 2021 mollywhoppin'.

Definitely feels like he's turned a corner. He was a beast yesterday. As soon as defenses tighten up to try and stop him that should allow Josh and the passing game to get rolling.

I used to feel that way with Losman and Edwards. I was like, take Losman's arm and athleticism and combine it with Trent's IQ and accuracy and maybe they'd turn into a somewhat kinda competent QB.

Capable of big games just inconsistent. Seems to get a lot of praise as a blocker and someone doing the little, unnoticed things on offense, team player and a captain so there are qualities there the staff certainly admire. But is he just too inconsistent? Has a big game then disappears for a bit. Couple picks this year have bounced off his hands, he's had some drops. It's not like he's a liability week in and week out, just feels like his goofs come at bad times. Honestly, I suspect some other team with the cap space and a need at receiver will overpay him a bit and he'll be elsewhere for 2024. I'd re-sign him at a fair value which, I think Beane may offer, but I think another team will see something there and think they can get him to that next level. Will he? I dunno.
