  1. Luck is an important component to winning a championship. No team on this planet could've survived all the unbelievable events the Bills had to endure. But this organization has blown opportunities with bad drafts, poor coaching and terrible personnel decisions. Smart organizations make their own luck.
  2. I'm letting Skynet draft my team.
  3. Maybe when pigs fly....shouldn't this thread be merged with the "Dismantle" thread?
  4. Rousseau's last 7 games. 3 sacks, 3 TFL. In his 2 playoff games he got 0/0. Sorry but that doesn't encourage me. Beane might have swung and missed on all 3 DE's.
  5. Every GM needs great scouts and a little luck. And besides Josh, we're failing on a majority of these picks since 2018. We don't have that luxury. Find better scouts. Incentivize them better based on how well their suggestions perform. I don't know what the answer is but some of these picks look like someone's drunk.
  6. I heard hungry ate the process and humble ate the culture.
  7. Thank you. We need to pivot bigtime to offense. We let McB have 3 years of a defensive smorgasbord and it didn't work. Build a dominant OL. Find a 2nd wr better than Davis.
  8. The Bills organization has not drafted an elite or even great WR since 1996, picking Eric Moulds. Think about that, 27 years. Sammy was a bust. We picked a few 2nd and 3rd rounders who didn't stick. We're probably only getting 2 more years out of Diggs. Beane has to nail a great wr in this draft. Either 1st round or a "diamond in the rough" day 2. Giving Josh only Stefon is criminal.
  9. The only time Rousseau looked remotely good (not elite) was when Von was on the field chasing players into him.
  10. Vander Esch....3M/yr....$17M saved for OL.
  11. Get Andy & Travis to retire and then they're dismantled.
  12. I have an idea. Why don't we let them both walk and actually get Josh some real Olineman.
  13. Yeah Beane has to hit on quality "rookie deal" olineman this April. Unless there's an amazing RT at a bargain contract.
  14. Gabe can only milk that KC game so long. This upcoming season is his contract year. So if he wants the bag, he better stop dropping balls.
  15. I agree this offense needs an identity and our wrs need more athletic diversity. But I'm not thrilled with an offense that relies way to much on low percentage deep throws. If the wide open checkdown doesn't get more emphasized, this team will become predictable and one dimensional. McKenzie will not survive this offseason nor should he.
  16. Why do you need heaters? I thought everyone was against a dome?
  17. Daboll was a mature adult that not only knew how to develop Josh but how to eliminate most of his bad habits. Dorsey is that intoxicating young drug dealer telling Josh to just chuck it. And after that Steeler game he kinda got caught up in it. I guarantee you Brian would've insisted that Josh continue (like v Rams/Titans) to take the checkdowns when they're wide open. It will eventually open up deeper routes later. If Ken can't accomplish this in year 2 then he's gone. I'm not even letting JA make any future decisions on OC's. His arm canon, howitzer ego sometimes gets the best of him. He wants to go deep too much, which destroys any opportunity at a more structured offense (Shanahan, Reid, Daboll). And finally when his worthless 1.8 second OL breaks down he's immediately off to the races. Not a formula for winning in the playoffs.
  18. We have an offense with no structure or identity. We have a generational qb with a child for an OC. And every time Andy faces us in the playoffs he just grins.
  19. Trust me, we were seriously outcoached....more than an opinion.
  20. Just be glad you're not in California where natural gas bills are up 600%.
  21. I don't have to pay anything for Benford & Vander Esch to replace Poyer & Edmunds. The only way I'd even consider OBJ is 3/30. I'd sign Perine over Murray and cut McKenzie/ Sweeney. Bates slides to LG and we draft RG/RT. I'd still draft a wr somewhere in the first 3 rounds.
  22. Dude I was the one banging on the table after the Houston game to start building a dominant OL behind Josh. And guess what, it never happened.
  23. Wr2 problem solved. How much??
  24. Great question. Let's say for the sake of argument McB hits on several offensive picks. We should get a pretty fast answer as to whether Ken is actually capable of being a Daboll disciple or just a lost Hackett train wreck. And if it's the latter, then Josh will immediately demand he's replaced. Dorsey is only getting 1 more shot to turn this around.
  25. Well if you copy KC's Team building philosophy, isn't part of that coaching and OL. It took great coaches including Andy Reid to realize they had to overhaul their OL in one season. And they did that. So McB feel free to "copy & paste". Feel free to chill out for a year on your defensive obsession. You might accidentally run into a Lombardi and that's something to clap about.
