Leslie Frazier "taking a year off from coaching" per Bills PR
LABILLBACKER replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly....having a top 5/10 defense in the regular season translates to squat. We saw how worthless those 70 sacks were to Philly. KC never has a top 5 D yet every year in the playoffs Jones in getting key sacks or Bolton is scooping up fumbles. It's about getting the key play at the right moment. And after Taron's pic6, it's been a wasteland of nothing for 4 years. -

I didn't ask for dbs playing 12 yards off the receiver? -

Good!....Poyer is getting up there in age and the injuries are increasing. Edmunds just doesn't generate big plays. No way we're keeping either nor should we. Hopefully Holcomb can generate a more aggressive style of this "bend don't break" nonsense. Every playoffs we break. Wish Leslie the best but he's not coming back. -

You're not being a defeatist...you're being a realist. -
I'm 100% down for Benford taking over Poyer's position and I'm sure there will be some growing pains. But it's probably a guarantee that this will be Micah's last season. Somewhere in the draft (hopefully not in the first 3 rounds) McD is grabbing a safety.

Shakir Training with Moulds

Pretty sad when the only hope we have is a pro athlete deciding he wants to play hard because it's a contract year. -
I’ll throw this out there about Hollywood Brown.

No....I want my wr2 to be on a rookie contract. We're probably only getting 2 more good years out of Diggs. -
I doubt he flips a switch for his contract year. He's a career 54% catch rate guy who is inconsistent with focus lapses. 9 drops and a 51% rate this year are god awful numbers. That 4 td KC game was a complete outlier. I honestly think the organization is going to slide him into a wr3 role and his targets will reflect that. We'll have to find our wr2 somewhere else.

He never was the problem. The problem is Dorsey. The problem is stone hands receivers like Gabe. The problem is scrub olineman like Brown & Q getting Josh's arm torn off. Josh haters are so adorably stupid.

I sure hope we as fans don't just settle for continuity. We don't just accept 10+ win seasons only to get bounced long before we sniff a SB. And if the Pegulas are somewhat clueless and Terry is distracted over Kim's condition, that only further protects McB. They may get another 2-3 year pass playing Marty ball before someone gets fed up. They absolutely can't screw up draft or FA picks anymore.

Completely agree. The back injury has nothing to do with how slow Spencer's feet are. RG is probably his only hope of staying on a roster but you don't normally want a 6-8 guy playing Guard. Unfortunately I think they must delegate him to backup for the next 2 years.

The Myth of the Bills over-focusing on defense in the Draft and FA

This FO makes a career finding DE's that don't live up to their draft slots. -

Why was Kumerow even here? Maybe he can find a cave with Aaron. -

If I'm Beane I'm firing half my scouting dept. It's brutal to see us swing and miss on so many draft picks these last 5 years. And frankly most of our FA acquisitions haven't been earth shattering. But even a moron knows you start by building a dominant OL around Josh. In 5 years we've drafted 2 olineman in the first 3 rounds. Ford was a bust and Brown probably will be too. Maybe the true problem with the Bills organization is how they incentivize their scouts.
