  1. Offense takes up 38.5% of cap allocation. Josh takes up 46% of that.
  2. If you are right and yes there is a chance McB go defense once again @ 27, then this will send a clear "FU" message to our offensive leaders. Drafting mid tier RB's when you already know you don't have the proper run blocking olineman in place is pure stupidity. Last year was the perfect opportunity to land one of those top wrs. Even Terry has gotta see this behavior and shake his head.
  3. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2023/2/23/23611065/predicting-buffalo-bills-succession-problems-through-draft-capital-expenditure-research Staggering numbers in the WR, TE and OL categories. You take away the swing and miss on Ford and the OL % dips below 3. Just an indictment on what happens when your defensive HC gets in the ear of your GM.
  4. Well of course. I wanted Frazier gone 2 years ago but realized he's sticking around until he retires because of Sean's misguided loyalty. Sean allows Leslie to continue on. That's why Sean is in the con category. I don't have much faith in Dorsey either but he can't possibly struggle as much this year as last. And again the decision to keep Ken is Sean's.
  5. Pros ▪︎ Josh Allen ▪︎ We're not likely to experience the drama that was 2022. ▪︎ We're not likely to have as many injuries as 2022 ▪︎ We're not likely to see Dorsey & Frazier coach that poorly as in 2022. ▪︎We won't have the pressure of being SB favorites. ▪︎ Barring a complete mental breakdown, Beane can't possibly avoid drafting and acquiring tons of offensive help. Cons ▪︎ Daunting schedule ▪︎ Sean McDermott ▪︎ Challenges of restructuring for cap
  6. We're not trading Diggs under ANY scenario. Too big a cap hit and because of age we're not getting what some would expect on a trade. He's literally our only reliable and consistent offensive weapon. After him the drop-off is big at Davis or Knox. We absolutely must land either an early round wr or FA. Then go heavy on OL.
  7. And this is exactly what they should do.
  8. ....and nothing screams SB like dumpster dive olineman. Beane hit homeruns with Josh & Stefon. But after them it's been mostly dribblers back to the mound.
  9. I want young promising wrs on rookie deals. No more re-animating Beas, Smoke or Bob.
  10. The only ones I'm signing is: Boettger Keenum Lawson Marlow Martin Jackson
  11. I agree with everything but say goodbye to Settle and Bernard. Sign Vander Esch to a cheap 2 yr deal to replace 49.
  12. Bijan would not be a horrible pick but I want to exhaust the better wrs first. If guys like Addison, Hyatt and JSN are gone then so be it.
  13. Yeah Beane can't live on the Allen/Diggs picks forever. Because if he doesn't start hitting on some of these other picks, having Josh & Stefon won't matter.
  14. Yeah I'm trying to target the best wr remaining. Then OL in the next 3 rounds. Addison, Hyatt would be my top 2.
  15. Let McDermott pound sand. All offense both draft and FA. Get some 4 year rookie contract olineman. Maybe a promising speed or route running wr like Hyatt or Addison. If you gotta trade Oliver to get a couple extra picks, do it. This will be Beane's most important offseason since drafting JA.
  16. Drafting 5th-7th round olineman just proves how little McDermott values protecting his best player. It's a slap in the face to JA. In 6 years, McDermott has acquired just 1 olineman in the first 2 rounds. And that was "Found On Road Dead".
  17. The team needed to start building a dominant OL in front of Josh after the Houston game. But from 20-22 they chose to emphasize defense which put Josh in the impossible position to "do it all". Now that alot of these defensive acquisitions (draft/FA) have failed, we ask even more of Josh to dig this team out of it's bad decisions. This is ALL on McB.
  18. These are the 2 guys I'm targeting.
  19. They never make in game or quarterly adjustments. And if they do they're lame and inconsequential. I've never been impressed with McDermott's style of game day coaching. He gets an A for player relationships and all that culture/ process BS. But when the game starts, it's like he's locked in to his weekly game-plan and nothing else. It's like instead of the first drive being scripted, the whole damn game is scripted. And if S#!+ isn't working just keep doing the same. Playoff games are even worse. This seasons schedule is brutal. It might be our toughest schedule in a decade. 10 games against playoff caliber teams. I don't imagine the Bills will have the emotional drama to experience like last year, but the schedule is daunting.
  20. We didn't run a trick play all season. I think Dorsey was too terrified to try anything. I'm telling you he better substantially improve this fall or he's gone.
  21. Other than Hines, Bass and maybe Martin, all remaining ST'ers should be paid the league minimum. It just makes no sense. If I can kick the ball for a touchback 70% of the time then let him do it. McD over pays every year for ST'ers. Pure stupidity.
  22. Both plays with 13 seconds happened in the middle of the field.
  23. The only time Greg (doesn't deserve a nickname)Rousseau looked halfway decent was when Von was on the field. If Von is slow getting up to speed like Tre then we're screwed. AJE & Basham are worthless and Shaq helps with run support and that's it.
  24. What was our pass defense while he was on the field during the PLAYOFFS. I guarantee you it wasn't 4th.
  25. OMG.....Doc, that's all he did. It was like watching a soccer player play midfield. I tried so damn hard to find something remarkable about Tremaine for 5 years. Paying him anywhere near 20M when your offense is hemorrhaging is insanity. He's not getting re-sign NOR should he. And I have a sneaky suspicion our defense will not drop off the end of the earth without him.
