Yes it does. Liked the idea of having Kirksey available as insurance. Now who backs up Bernard?

To All You Dorsey/McD Haters What Say You Now ?
LABILLBACKER replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our gameplan in the first half of the Jets was very good. But I think because of the hype and bright lights, Josh decided to go off script. And besides the opening drive v the Raiders, the whole game offensively was perfect. So yes 6 out of 8 quarters proved to me Dorsey's plan can work. Believe in the value of the short passing game. Believe in your RB's and the deeper passes will come. Dorsey does still need to add motion, misdirection and screens to his playbook. We're lacking in these 3 important areas. And stick Josh behind C more. -
May go down as one of the worst contracts in NFL history.

Wow, blatant pi....this league is laughable.

Yup, easy int in the endzone dropped. Don't miss him....

Agree, all 4 teams look awful. So glad we didn't draft Najee.

That was the play of the game. I honestly thought he was sacked.

A Few Thoughts about the Raiders Game, in no particular order
LABILLBACKER replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
We need to mix the run game up like that all year. Show them different looks and different RB styles. Take the short passes and watch how quick opposing defenses come out of cover 2. The deep throws will be there as the season progresses. -
I'm sorry but Tre, Micah and Jordan have all lost a step. I could see this year being the last for our dynamic duo. And it wouldn't surprise me because of the "Elam fail" that we draft a CB early to slide Tre to CB2.

OT: will that FG block by the Pats fundamentally change kicks?

Holders will have to delay the snap to cause off sides. It was a brilliant timing play. -
Most of his mistakes involve him shifting to hero mode. What Josh may have finally realized yesterday is that checking down (taking what they give you), not only minimizes the turnovers but will later allow him to go deep later in the season when defenses adjust. Teams don't go low on him anymore, so he's got to put to bed the amazing highlight leaps which will forever be part of his legacy.

Tell that to the incessant group of posters who come up with these obscure records/ factoids/ whatever to make them feel better about Josh. Allen is a phenom, there's no denying that. But the only record I want to see is the number 1. The Bills first Lombardi. All the rest of this stuff is noise. At least yesterday he finally understood the value of listening to his coaches and we all saw how it paid off. Josh no doubt will put up countless Marino-like records. But if he wants a championship he must be smarter like Brady, Montana and Manning. -

I agree, and McD's coaching has alot to do with our playoff struggles. -

Yeah my whole life revolves around Josh Allen records. I literally think the majority of Bills fans only care about records & regular season accomplishments. Nothing beyond that matters anymore. Talk about tempering your expectations so you don't get heartbroken. -

We would've beaten the Jets if Josh stuck to the gameplan. And wake me when these records translate to getting to a SB.- 52 replies

If he continues to listen and use this gameplan, I guarantee you the deep plays will come. Today was excellent.

Can we please use groot like parsons and Garrett?
LABILLBACKER replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
We're still getting only marginal pressure up the middle. Jimmy G had several opportunities today to step up into an open cavity. I would love to see Miller/Floyd set the edge while Groot attacks the middle w/ Oliver/Jones. -
They need to do this the rest of the year. Be smart like today and take what they give you. Eventually the 2 deep safety will disappear and Josh can take a couple shots deep.

Dorsey and this OL is ridiculous.

Q Williams fined 2x for unnecessary roughness.

The shield is incredibly inconsistent and Goodell talks out of both sides of his mouth. Unless the play is beyond egregious, the refs will just let it go depending on that games script.
