  1. Yes Josh must be weened off Hero ball. And because of some possible ego issues, this won't be an easy task. Spencer Brown is terrible and nothing has changed. He's clearly our weakest olineman.
  2. For Beane to finally put max focus on the OL after nearly 6 years of neglect and bottom 10 rankings, would require him to ignore McD's incessant defensive requests.
  3. I hate shotgun handoffs and delayed draws because it immediately neutralizes the speed of your RB1. It makes no sense. Cook receives the ball from a stopped position and must re-accelerate. Just dumb playcalling. And this idea that we're in a traditional 12 personnel is not true. Kincaid is in the slot. More like 11 1/2 personnel.
  4. I'm right there with you Virgil.
  5. The only thing that entertains me is the chance to win a SB. Yes our early career Josh was spectacular and beyond entertaining. But does it translate to a championship and is it sustainable at 27, 28, 29? This is Josh's opportunity to transition into a little different qb. Make smarter decisions. Don't let Diggs dictate the offense. Trust your coaches. Our insatiable appetite for sugar leads to diabetes.
  6. The real issue with Josh isn't as much his recklessness as it is the poor field vision. He's always held the ball a tick longer than other qbs. I truly believe he struggles sometimes in seeing wrs (range of vision) during his progressions.
  7. Leaving Spencer in there isn't going to help either.
  8. 5 almost sacks don't count. Groot you actually have to take him down. Cook was unimpressive. Floyd will be great.
  9. It would be a shame to not have Josh play at a high level for at least 12 years. There are many factors contributing to this recent decline including coaching, OL and Josh's own stubbornness. Comparing him to Cam athletically is very accurate. This season will be critical to his future & longevity. But he must cooperate.
  10. If the process means being content with winning regular seasons then count me out. I'm not a participation trophy guy.
  11. Floyd at 51% is disappointing. Throw Kincaid the damn ball Josh. I don't care if it hurts Stef's feelings.
  12. Until they hoist that Lombardi, it will just be a big tease. Followed by exhausting stress, heartache and pain. Wait for it......
  13. Exactly, besides we don't even have a good enough OL to take advantage of a high end RB.
  14. 1. Loss of Daboll 2. Skittish due to mediocre OL since 2018 3. No bona-fide WR2 4. No running game 5. Asked by McD to do it all
  15. Stop telling the world you're going to fix them when you don't. Very disingenuous. They have been riping him. Cowherd constantly talks about his reckless play although today's topic was more about how much Josh misses Daboll. Josh needs "arm arrogance" therapy and Dorsey/ McD aren't the guys to do it.
  16. Frankly I don't give a rats ass about the process anymore.
  17. No one gets in his face. Probably not Dorsey or McDermott. At least Daboll did constantly when Josh switched to reckless mode. Diggs got in his face and look what the media did with it. Josh MUST tone down attempting these freak plays we're so used to. It's OK Josh to play a little boring once in awhile. Protect the damn ball and reduce the turnovers.
  18. Hero ball Josh wants to skip the 1st downs and go right to the bomb. He could've easily ran for a 1st down on that opening int (Harty). They gotta just keep hammering it into his head. Part of him maturing (and not regressing) as a veteran qb is to "do it" and stop talking about doing it.
  19. Daboll has garbage to work with. Barkley is washed and Jones was never good. Plus Dabs would at least make an effort to build up the OL.
  20. Great, just what we need. A high strung OC trying to get through to a sugar high qb.
  21. I think I heard the word "regressed" about 20x today from various media outlets.
  22. That punt was pathetic but that tackle made him look like a p ussy.
  23. I was done with McDermott when I witnessed him butcher 13 seconds. Since then he's been getting a pass by at least 60% of this fan base. Time for processes are over. The culture has been established. But organizational mistakes both with personnel and game day calls has set this team back. Good coaching matters. Until this ownership hires a dynamic offensive minded HC it will be rinse & repeat.
  24. The only tape he needs to watch is that of his giveaways. Less Hailee...less commercials...time to mature and really be a committed student of the game. Not just an athletic freak running around playing hero ball.
