  1. It's a complimentary mix of both. The Jets game was 1 quarter of patience and 3 quarters of hero "reckless" ball. Josh will have opportunities to go deep when teams relax on deep cover 2. In the meantime he should continue with the Raider gameplan in Washington.
  2. This was an important game for Josh if for no other reason than to realize the immense value of "taking what they give you". There will be moments when Josh can activate hero ball, but he has to mature and change some of his game planning. He's gotta begin games calm, prepared and focused.
  3. Agree, I think the Chargers regret not letting Daboll work with him. But he is definitely over-rated. The Chargers, Giants and Browns will be strapped for years.
  4. I've never seen a team get so much YAC.
  5. Terrible call
  6. Purdy should've been picked twice on that drive.
  7. So he should be watching porn.
  8. Aren't we required to trade Elam before he retires.
  9. Yes it does. Liked the idea of having Kirksey available as insurance. Now who backs up Bernard?
  10. Tremaine's always been allergic to the LOS.
  11. Our gameplan in the first half of the Jets was very good. But I think because of the hype and bright lights, Josh decided to go off script. And besides the opening drive v the Raiders, the whole game offensively was perfect. So yes 6 out of 8 quarters proved to me Dorsey's plan can work. Believe in the value of the short passing game. Believe in your RB's and the deeper passes will come. Dorsey does still need to add motion, misdirection and screens to his playbook. We're lacking in these 3 important areas. And stick Josh behind C more.
  12. May go down as one of the worst contracts in NFL history.
  13. Wow, blatant pi....this league is laughable.
  14. Yup, easy int in the endzone dropped. Don't miss him....
  15. Agree, all 4 teams look awful. So glad we didn't draft Najee.
  16. That was the play of the game. I honestly thought he was sacked.
  17. I think warrior is obsessed with parties.
  18. We need to mix the run game up like that all year. Show them different looks and different RB styles. Take the short passes and watch how quick opposing defenses come out of cover 2. The deep throws will be there as the season progresses.
  19. I'm sorry but Tre, Micah and Jordan have all lost a step. I could see this year being the last for our dynamic duo. And it wouldn't surprise me because of the "Elam fail" that we draft a CB early to slide Tre to CB2.
  20. Holders will have to delay the snap to cause off sides. It was a brilliant timing play.
  21. Most of his mistakes involve him shifting to hero mode. What Josh may have finally realized yesterday is that checking down (taking what they give you), not only minimizes the turnovers but will later allow him to go deep later in the season when defenses adjust. Teams don't go low on him anymore, so he's got to put to bed the amazing highlight leaps which will forever be part of his legacy.
  22. Tell that to the incessant group of posters who come up with these obscure records/ factoids/ whatever to make them feel better about Josh. Allen is a phenom, there's no denying that. But the only record I want to see is the number 1. The Bills first Lombardi. All the rest of this stuff is noise. At least yesterday he finally understood the value of listening to his coaches and we all saw how it paid off. Josh no doubt will put up countless Marino-like records. But if he wants a championship he must be smarter like Brady, Montana and Manning.
  23. I agree, and McD's coaching has alot to do with our playoff struggles.
