  1. At this point KC's getting a very good wr no matter what. And there's nothing we can do about it. But what we can do is make absolute sure our target wr (Thomas, Mitchell, McConkey) fits our system and expectations. And I'd even consider landing another wr in the 2nd if the value is there.
  2. I'm willing to trade up a couple spots to get Thomas or Mitchell. Those 2 will be good NFL caliber wrs. I'm also convinced once wrs start coming off the board, the run on wrs will begin. There's just too much talent. I'm a little skeptical of Worthy not running drills but I think a team between 11-20 will grab him to begin the full run. Legette or McConkey would be acceptable at 28 if we don't move up.
  3. They're all going to be gone by the 3rd round. After watching today, we won't have the luxury to wait till the 4th round to get our 2nd wr.
  4. You can't ignore the ridiculous quality and quantity of wrs this draft. If it's me, I'm drafting wr at 28 & 60. I'm telling Sean he's going to have to make do with rounds 3, 4, 5 for defense. Hopefully the 1st round wr replaces Gabe immediately and can transition to WR1. And the 2nd round guy can assume the WR2 role. Whatever cap $ we have to spend, use it on defense.
  5. It's very doable. WR, DT, S, WR....
  6. Worthy official time now 4.21 Fastest man in the history of the combine.
  7. Yeah we may not see a wr draft like this for awhile. Strike 2x in the first 4 rounds. Ta hell with the defense.
  8. Worthy just joined the 1st round. 4.25
  9. Thomas just does a 4.34
  10. Clearly your not a Milton fan and I'm not in the mood to spar so I'll leave it at that.
  11. I think we could use an early 6th on him easily. Tired of wasting 3M per year on rehashed vets who aren't seeing the field anyway.
  12. You do realize we're talking about a backup for Josh who will likely never see the field nor will he cost us 3M/ yr. EJ was a starter. Poor analogy.
  13. Joe Milton please as Josh's backup for the next several years.
  14. He's 65% his last 2 collegiate seasons. And he's been on the money today. Yeah I'm drafting this kid rather than waste 2-3 million every year on the Barkley, Tribisky, Allen brigade. Now Milton is putting on a show during the Josh drill.
  15. Goodbye Kyle Allen Hello Joe Milton
  16. Sandbag 😃
  17. Mitchell obviously looked great in the 40 and gauntlet. But he's dropping balls or stumbling out of his route during these qb drills.
  18. Mitchell looked great in the 40 & gauntlet. Now he's dropping everything during qb drill.
  19. McConkey had a tremendous gauntlet.
  20. I now have Mitchell, Thomas, Leggette & Franklin in that order.
  21. First I agree its paramount that we draft an early wr and another later. Davis is gone and Diggs could be gone in 2 years or less. Filling those holes this draft is vital. Shakir holds great promise. I see him more as an upgraded YAC slot guy to Beasley. Khalil will need to work on the things that made Cole special especially finding zone cavities. Having Shakir & Kincaid as a foundation is great. Shorter is still unknown?
  22. Trey Benson big RB just ran an impressive 4.39
  23. Yeah, we need speed. They can put muscle mass on later.
  24. So AJE and Groot are considered "hits" or "modest successes"? Have we really lowered the bar so low that 2 guys averaging 3.5 and 5.5 sacks/ yr are hits? Success stories? I need to see at least 9-10 sacks from these 2 before I'm anointing them hits. You know, that play where you actually tackle the qb before he can pass it. Pressures and hurries mean nothing if Mahomes/ Burrow are still able to get the ball out.
