    Yes he was most definitely playing hurt. And teams had no respect for our supplemental wrs so they keyed on him. Throw in dumb play calls and the 2nd half results were predictable.

    I agree Stef can still give us another year or 2 of WR1 ability but he's never going to be as amazing as in previous years. And yes those behind the LOS plays were absolute stupidity by Dorsey & Brady. Don't want any part of Ridley. Rather spend less cap on Mooney and draft a 1st & 4th round wr.

    In 2021 a horrible series of late game coaching decisions cost us a shot at a SB. In 2022 a horrible series of events exhausted the team emotionally. In 2023 a horrible series of injuries kept us from competing. Just once I wish we'd get some breaks. Just once.

    I'm just about saving every penny for better fa's. Whether we draft a 5th/ 6th round Joe Milton and let him backup Josh for 4 cheap league minimum years. Or keep signing vet retreads for 2-2.5 when neither guy is likely to ever see the field based on Josh's durability.

    If I could use all of Von's contract to sign Jones, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I could live with those 4 as long as we draft another wr in the 4th and give Shorter an opportunity to show us what he's got.

    Agree...give me Curl or Chinn @ safety and Mooney @ WR2. That probably all we can afford.

    It will have to be 1st round and 4th round. We don't have a 3rd thanks to this secret convoluted formula. And unfortunately Thomas & Mitchell may both be gone by 28.

    I'm not paying AJE much if he wants to stick around. DQ gets ans deserves more imho. As far as the retread trio of Settle, Phillips & Lawson, I'm letting them go and look toward new players....new energy.

    Yeah I like Chinn & Stone too but what little FA $ we have will go toward guys like DQ, Ty and maybe Floyd?

    Obviously based on his skill set and our scheme this was an awful pick. We don't play enough man to justify his snap count. And clearly they're struggling to teach him zone. McDuffie would've been perfect if KC hadn't snagged him?

    I agree....clearly the dumbest move yesterday. Here we go again, another overpriced scrub vet who will never see the field for 2.7M. We should've just drafted a late development guy for the rookie minimum.

    Those 3 were HOFers who helped us to 4 SB's. These guys today were good and beloved players but not in the same tier as 34, 83 & 78.
