  1. Need another RB and another WR at least. Maybe a top TE if you can get one.
  2. Starters play a half or so at most. No reason for anything more.
  3. That sums it up. Tackling was poor, OL was sub par at times.
  4. That will not happen. This offseason will be about retaining their defensive talent and adding weapons to a limited offense.
  5. You can, but not when the defense plays without fundamentals or pass rush , and gets rolled on for 400+ yards. The Bills don’t have the offensive personnel yet to consistently score more vs a top defense.
  6. Any team the Bills face in the playoffs is going to have good players on the roster. They won’t face an elite defense in the WC round. It’s really out of their control anyway. If they manage to get a win today, it forces NE to play their starters in week 17 ( unusual for them ) and possibly knocks them out of a bye week.
  7. I’m not sure how someone that follows the NFL can say the Pats* in the Super Bowl is in any way a good storyline.
  8. Certainly a couple more Bills should have received stronger consideration, but as to your point about the media they don’t vote for the pro bowl. The All Pro team is a greater honor imo.
  9. Total BS. Just like his phantom “ illegal hands to the face” in Dallas.
  10. Yeah, this is one of the crews that turn a blind eye to NE offensive holding, CBs grabbing etc. Not good; much rather have Boger or Vinovich
  11. See this way too often in the NFL. Guys go for a highlight reel hit to dislodge the ball. It rarely works. You have to wrap a guy up. This is really training camp fundamental stuff.
  12. It’s generally the highest rated TV program each week
  13. I’ve often been critical of Frazier and his conservative tendencies. He’s definitely impressed me this season as he seems to have a newfound willingness to send pressure. I’ve had very few issues with his coaching this season. He’s been excellent.
  14. Is it known that he’s a fan f the Pats? If so, I’ve lost respect for Michaels as Pats fans are suspect humans. Really ? I recall Collinsworth being hugely complimentary of Nick Foles and the Eagles coaches in that game. Then again, Eagles fans booed Santa lol
  15. A check last night showed flights BUF to HOU that week double the cost of any other week in January. Maybe due to New Years, but seems the airlines were on this quickly. Pretty sure they said it was 1991
  16. That’s only if you know that no other team put in a claim, which they wouldn’t know. You have to assume a NE or top team is going to put in a claim to either improve or block him from a competitor.
  17. Exactly. Could simply be a move to block him from BAL, NE etc.
  18. The 53rd player currently on the roster. That’s an easy one.
  19. I’m sure they’ll coach him up on fighting for extra yards and securing the football. Pats always go for the strip as well, so it will be a focal point. A quick check of NFL combine numbers for RBs does confirm Singletary’s hands are small for an NFL player. Still, I think it’s more about ball position while carrying than his hands alone.
  20. Versus that defense, ( coupled with the lack of a threat at QB) it was not a terrible gamble. Singletary had already put the ball on the ground twice. PIT has a lot of takeaways. I don’t think they would treat it the same if a Watson, Brady, Mahomes et al were on the opposing sideline in a playoff game. We will find out soon enough.
  21. Current 2020 NFL draft order has Bills at 25 and Chiefs at 26. If that’s the same as the waiver priority then Bills did not submit a claim for Suggs.
  22. Same record, so I’m not sure what would determine the order at that point.
  23. They were confident playing PIT offense for sure, so that’s exactly why they were content to not risk a turnover vs that defense while in search of a FG. I had no problem with the strategy in that situation.Fine to take your lead into the half and make some adjustments. I mean, just what about the Bills offense makes you think they should play for shootouts ?
  24. Each game is different. They knew PIT was great at forcing turnovers , but wasn’t likely to score offensively. They weren’t going to “ milk” a 7-3 lead for a half of football lol. Now, once they had a TD lead with under 10 minutes to play they got very low risk on offense. If a different QB is on the other sideline , they probably don’t feel that comfortable with just a TD lead. This offense as currently constructed has major limitations. Thats not going to change too much this season. I’d have preferred a more aggressive approach after the T White INT return, and such an approach will probably be required in a playoff game. The only playoff game we have to refer to was a different OC with Taylor at QB.
