  1. Schadenfreude at its finest, but I love it. Made my football weekend , really.
  2. If wishes were fishes...... they’ll have to solve beating the Pats* first. Still haven’t solved that riddle, so pointless to speculate.
  3. Good for them . That fan base are MASSive dill holes.
  4. Only if they could beat the Patriots, which they have not been able to do. This Pats offense isn’t that great, and the bandwagons in the national media were back on after they “ took it to the Bills #3 scoring defense” . I love it .
  5. Nope, unless you think numbers tell the whole story
  6. Well, it did take them almost a half to score 10. That offense isn’t what it used to be, but they’re not getting shut out by the ‘phins
  7. Even though the arm was pushed forward by the defender, the ball was clearly still in his hand.
  8. Right . This isn’t preseason, so rosters are what they are.
  9. Then knuckleheads will come out of the woodwork with threads about who should start over who, coaches are dumb etc etc.
  10. The Texans will already know the outcome of Chiefs/ Chargers, as the NFL left that game at its original 1 PM kickoff. If somehow the Chiefs lost , I’d imagine there’s a good chance that Watson has a quick recovery and starts.
  11. WNY real estate costs are low compared to many areas of the country, and half your games are played outside of NYS ( and the associated taxes) anyway. Aside from that, players are giving the management and environment great reviews. That word gets around with players in the league, and the team has become relevant again with two playoff berths in 3 seasons. These things do matter.
  12. A TE has been inactive all year. So has a WR. Just being consistent. Besides, you’re not going to have a QB inactive. Allen can use some reps early, as he’s often a little too hyped up. Knox can practice catching all week on a Juggs machine.
  13. Has to be some of both. I believe a couple weeks ago I heard announcers say the Texans finally scored an opening drive TD for the first t8me in a ridiculous amount of games ( longer than the Bills by a lot). That just shows this can happen, even to teams that are thought to have good offenses and good WRs, etc. Probably a little bit of play design/ calling ( Daboll has mixed things up; remember passing 15 straight plays or something ? ) and some poor execution on the part of the players. I view Daboll as a good play designer at times, but often lacking the feel of what to call in certain game situations.
  14. It makes a more catchy line for a song, but hey, who’s counting ?
  15. What year do you mean ? Year one ? Then yes, year 1-100 is a century. You don’t start with year nothing.
  16. Terrible way for the Buckeyes to lose. Thought they had it for sure on the final drive, probably didn’t need to go for the whole enchilada on that play, and it came back to bite them. A miscommunication or something , and the WR falls down. At least force Clemson to make a great play... the pass went right to the defender.
  17. Need to go back further than that. Can’t just choose a random century, but rather back to the beginning of recorded time. Was the first year known as year zero, or was it year one ? Yes, the nineteenth century was years 1901-2000. You may not have been in the “ nineteen hundreds” but you were certainly in the last year of the nineteenth century.
  18. May blew this game by going after that punt. Totally not necessary. Ball never moved and he took multiple steps. Why have rules if they’re not going to be adhered to ?
  19. That was obviously a catch and fumble. Terrible overturn
  20. The team wouldn’t be in the playoffs with the 29th or 32nd ranked defense, even if the offense were top ten. Anyway, ,most fans want to see the offense improved. They’re not okay with it. What would you suggest fans do about the Bills offense ? There’s nothing we can do. So perhaps you’d be more entertained by following Arizona or something. There’s little that we can do as fans except trust that those in charge will make the necessary improvements in the offseason. Their jobs depend on it, so I’d suspect they know what needs to be done. Making the playoffs and winning games is a good step, but no one on the staff would be satisfied being the 24th ranked offense.
  21. Is it ? Shouldn’t next year’s finale be the last of the decade ? I mean, if recorded time began with year one ......
  22. Yeah , this is Buffalo after all. There will be some saying Barkley should start the playoff game.
