  1. They should be aware that some of these calls have been getting overturned in recent weeks. Earlier in the season, that was not the case.
  2. Steelers are not playoff material. Titans are a real threat in the tournament ( Pats* could be shown an early exit) and the Cowchips are a little better than the Eagles, since someone has to win that division.
  3. It’s just a few things. Flores has great intel on the Pats, and his team is playing a lot better now than they were. Lastly, the Pats* just aren’t that much better of a team than the Dolphins on any given day at this point.
  4. PIT should have challenged that play. Looked like a TD
  5. I’d venture that his “ personal preferences “ are aligned with what he believes will win . Not saying I agree with him, but there is no other motivation for his decisions than winning a game. If you believe his preferences may have been changed by today’s game, that’s another story altogether.
  6. Now I want the Titans in the tournament. They are built in a way that can knock the Patsies out. Beating up HOU a bit physically is a nice benefit for the Bills as well.
  7. Gilmore is just a tad overrated at this point.
  8. Picking NFL games in that manner is a fools errand. Different players, different matchups, different coaches. I’ll say it opens HOU -6
  9. I wonder what day NFLN is going to show Pats*/ Phins replay this week ? They rarely re show NE losses, at least I haven’t been able to find them. Want to see that game.
  10. They were able to foil Brady, but that’s only half the battle. You can’t hide your QB, and Allen played poorly that game. Did Fitzy win by handing off up at Gillette today ? At some point, players have to make the plays. The Bills running game isn’t of the variety that can impose their will on an opponent when they know what’s coming. Besides, the ‘phins had all of 63 yards rushing today.
  11. The Bills could have won the division every season of their existence ; if they only won more games or were able to beat the Pats*. What have they shown you that says they are able to beat that team when TB starts a game ? They weren’t winning the division ths year, and yes it HAS been a great season. The Bills absolutely CAN win their playoff game next week too.
  12. I disagree. They couldn’t have, because they haven’t shown any ability to beat the Pats*. It’s a problem, but not close to a dark cloud over their season. It’s just where they’re at right now until proven otherwise. While the ‘phins didn’t exactly have a season to remember, they have shown an ability to achieve a split with NE fairly regularly. I won’t miss Daboll if he’s gone in a few weeks ( provided they promote from within for some continuity offensively) but nothing the futility vs NE goes deeper than Daboll.
  13. I guess I’m just not to the point where I expect the Bills to beat NE when Brady starts at QB. Ever. Way past the “ show me” point with that situation. My main concern for the playoffs ( aside from the Bills winning as many games as they can win the right to play in) is no Pats* in the Super Bowl. Today was a big step toward that happening. All about expectations being tempered by realism.
  14. Look on the bright side. The Bills are unlikely to make the Super Bowl, and they didn’t make enough plays to beat the Pats*. NE now has to play in the WC round, which means they are likely to exit the tournament long before the big game. That’s a gift to football fans in general, and our Bills can definitely win their playoff game next week as well.
  15. Nope. The bye was more important, though they couldn’t have one without the other.
  16. Not sad at all. Pats wouldn’t have lost two in a row, and we can’t beat that team for whatever reason(s). That’s on the Bills to solve, but it’s not like they had a real opportunity slip by. They’ve beaten TB twice in his entire career.
  17. Perhaps, but what sucked the most about him today was his lack of feel and presence in the pocket. He looked about a full second slow out there.
  18. Schadenfreude at its finest, but I love it. Made my football weekend , really.
  19. If wishes were fishes...... they’ll have to solve beating the Pats* first. Still haven’t solved that riddle, so pointless to speculate.
  20. Good for them . That fan base are MASSive dill holes.
  21. Only if they could beat the Patriots, which they have not been able to do. This Pats offense isn’t that great, and the bandwagons in the national media were back on after they “ took it to the Bills #3 scoring defense” . I love it .
  22. Nope, unless you think numbers tell the whole story
  23. Well, it did take them almost a half to score 10. That offense isn’t what it used to be, but they’re not getting shut out by the ‘phins
