Chiefs v Broncos (Eagles v Cowboys page 23)
Boatdrinks replied to ColoradoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fumble return TD was the difference. KC hasn’t done much to that point. It was basically over after that. -
Week 18: Jets at Bills - a W wins the AFC East!
Boatdrinks replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
On its own the loss @ TEN is the most critical. Bills would be the 1 seed right now if they got the win. -
Good luck. They can’t get enough workers to keep Tim Hortons or mighty taco open regular hours. Can’t see many people being willing to shovel for that rate.

flashback 2018 espn draft coverage of Josh pick
Boatdrinks replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
Iirc, he had a similar take in the McShay/ Kiper pre draft special. In the closing segment they were asked aside from Mayfield/ Darnold who would emerge as the best QB from that draft. Kiper replied “ Josh Allen” -
Don’t like it. It’s an oddball number and 18 is too many. 16 is just right; they should have left it alone. MNF during playoffs is stupid too.

Still not a guarantee he can be effective or play. Sounds like a procedural move that needed to happen to ensure the possibility.

If true I’m not shocked. With the division sewn up it would change the teams approach. 3 or 4 seed likely not a huge thing to the Bengals vs resting starters.

Wonderlic Test Eliminated from Pre-Draft Process
Boatdrinks replied to Wayne Cubed's topic in The Stadium Wall
NFL is a microcosm of what’s happening in society in general ; eliminate all standards. Not surprising, and neither is a media type like Florio championing the decision.- 146 replies

Derrick Henry likely will come back in time for playoff

Believe it when you see it Dept. -
Wouldn’t that affect Bengals seeding though? Maybe they don’t care much. Just curious on your take.

I’d prefer the Colts to a 3rd meeting with Belichick, McDaniels and co.

I think the Ravens have a scenario where they get in , but it’s probably an oddball type thing.

Week 18: Jets at Bills - a W wins the AFC East!
Boatdrinks replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills passing game struggles in bad weather. Drops, bad timing etc etc but it seems pretty clear by now. They perform at a high level in good conditions. It’s definitely a concern when your first playoff game is at home in January. Hope for a day like last years Colts playoff game. -
Is there a reason Josh didnt feel like taking checkdowns yesterday?
Boatdrinks replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall
Probably true on the separation. I don’t think the tipped balls were a result of D linemen being too close to Josh, a la Flutie. Maybe the throws were a little too flat, or just bad luck. The one in the red zone was a bad decision. -
I hope McD reevaluates this going into playoffs. McKenzie/ Hyde splitting the work would be ok with me.

Most likely seem #4 with outside chance at 3.

It was odd, especially coming off a game where he took the check down with great success. Maybe ATL was focused on taking those outlets away? Not sure either way but all 22 analysis will shed some light on it. -
I attended the game and remember it but it was not the most exciting contest to say the least.

Division games are tough and it’s difficult to beat a team twice in a row. The choices on this poll are too far to one side or another. The last thing you’d fear playing them is Mac Jones. Anyway Pats are around 33% to be the Bills opponent and the Raiders are around 27%. Colts are in between, so it’s far from certain it will be NE as it sounds in the title.
