  1. Depends on your confidence in winning @NE. I had figured on a home and home split with the Pats this year. After yesterday’s game , I don’t think I’d want to put all the Bills chances into the NE basket. I can see a close game with a questionable call or non call being a huge factor. I’d prefer the Bills to have another pathway into the postseason.
  2. Good analogy. That question was directed at Evian btw.
  3. Yes. If the Bills got the W yesterday we would be rooting for the Colts as we’d have a good shot at the AFCE
  4. I think ioure correct on the Colts/ Pats game. The Bills have more ways into the playoffs if the Pats win. Strange situation but that’s how it is. Is anyone saying the 2021 edition of the Bills are a great team?
  5. Don’t kid yourself, these games are determining playoff seeding. The Bills winning vs Tampa would change the dynamic in the AFCE. Without a top tier QB, the Pats would benefit the most of possibly any AFC team by getting the bye. You probably aren’t winning 3 playoff games with Mac Jones. As for the Tampa game, it was a 3 point game in the final moments of regulation. Tampa did little in the second half , so you could say the same about how they got to that point. The sequence of scoring doesn’t matter at all, just that the score was close with just a minute to play. Rationalizing away the impact of obviously bad calls/ non calls is nonsensical in this instance.
  6. They’re the top seed at the moment. As a matchup I absolutely believe the Bills can beat this version of the Pats. I agree less than optimal weather would suit the Pats more than the Bills.
  7. What they weren’t doing though was stopping the Titans. They had scored in quite a few consecutive drives ( can’t recall how many) . I’m certain that played a huge factor in that decision. I don’t want to leave it up to a coin toss. I can’t fault McD for putting the game in the hands of the team’s best player when the opportunity is there.
  8. That’s what happens when you have an elite athlete at the QB position. Tremendous production by Allen; I’m glad he’s on our team.
  9. Every season is different and may not be the teams best. However , I will take playoff berths in those years rather than missing out. The nostalgia you mention was almost always missing the postseason. The Bills still have a great chance to get in if they win vs CAR, ATL, and NYJ they’re still in control of their season.
  10. Maybe. Before yesterday’s results the key game for the Bills ( if they finish with losses to TB and @NE) is Saturday’s matchup between NE and IND. If the Colts defeat NE that result was very damaging to the Bills playoff chances. That may have changed after the other games yesterday. Any idea about that? I haven’t checked the playoff machine since Saturday
  11. I’d say no right now but that could change with the injury update.
  12. Ok got it. The machine was giving the Bills a solid chance at the division if they beat TB and NE ( our 2 toughest remaining ) We know how that turned out. our chances went down dramatically to make the playoffs w a loss to NE plus a Colts win over NE.
  13. True, but that seeding is subject to change with 4 games left and NE is also playing with a sub- par Quarterback.
  14. As Bills fans, I don’t think we want the Colts to win that game. Or did something change w yesterday’s results? A Colts win seemed bad for Buffalo in the ESPN playoff machine on Saturday.
  15. Again the sequence of events doesn’t matter, just the score . If the two teams had traded scores all day those calls would still be decisive at the end of a close game. It really doesn’t matter HOW a game because close, just that it WAS close.
  16. They were , however they are not a team that historically gets many of those type calls / non calls. Purely a blind squirrel finding a nut situation.
  17. The game is 60 minutes. The Bucs didn’t do much in the 2nd half. There are ebbs and flows. The sequence doesn’t matter just the score. Bottom line is those calls decided a close game.
  18. That was the script, that’s how.
  19. Yep that was OPI to prevent an INT simple as that
  20. When the refs pick the winners it’s all BS
  21. And that’s why you go for it on 4th and 3. It’s still a better chance than stopping them 3 and out. McD just folds every time
  22. I don’t see it. McD will have no one walk the plank until the offseason, which will come early this season.
  23. Mahomes has cut down the turnovers. That’s the major difference A. It’s the Raiders B. It’s the Raiders
