  1. His line was hot garbage and many QBs would have folded. He want great but if the line isn’t close to intact next week and beyond they won’t go very far if they get a playoff berth Still a very good chance even if they fall toll short at NE next week. A lot of these teams play each other and aren’t going to win out.
  2. Cool stat . I just hope they keep winning
  3. Bengals have a tough schedule coming up and week to week fluctuations are still going to happen. Still a great chance for the Bills either way.
  4. Weren’t getting calls in Foxboro anyway... gladly took the calls today. Definitely got away with a few holds on Offense maybe a DPI or 2
  5. They managed to get it done with a makeshift offensive line against a bad and depleted team ( they do have a good D) with a suspect QB. They will need to play much better in the weeks ahead. Didn’t love how they moved the entire line around , never a good strategy imo. We have to hope the OL is back intact next week or they won’t have a chance to win.
  6. Having Tom Brady afforded the Pats and BB many unconventional luxuries and covered up a lot of errors.
  7. A few days ago I was on the side of the Pats winning ( though I couldn’t watch a game and actively root for the Pats to win). With last weeks and Thursday nights results, I’m now absolutely on the side of rooting for the Colts to win. The ESPN playoff machine should convince anyone who thinks it’s better for the Bills if NE wins. A Colts win tonite gives the Bills a great chance at the division title if they defeat CAR and the Pats. If they stumble vs Pats they still have many paths to a wildcard berth. An oddball situation with the Bills Bengals and Ravens tied would be the worst outcome for the Bills but seems unlikely given CIN and BAL schedules. So go ahead and root for the Colts : an IND win will be more positive for the Bills than a negative.
  8. No comparison to a seatbelt around your lap in a car, but your overall assessment on the vote is likely true. Sadly , here in WNY ( or just NYS in general) there are simply too many lefty nut jobs to overcome. Voting for the D is a way of life. A few Counties in NYS have shown some sack and declared that they won’t follow this ridiculous mandate but of course Erie isn’t one of them.
  9. Being forced to cover ones face/ nose/ mouth for the privilege of walking around in a public is not innocuous to me. It’s a horrific intrusion .
  10. My guess is with the numbers being so out of whack with other passers (even adjusted is significantly higher) that we are not talking about nuance here.
  11. I would have put those odds at more like 1:2. I really despise our local news stations sports coverage.
  12. I think the Bills are just keeping Carolina guessing with this....Allen plays Sunday. And yes this is the week that the Bills will benefit from some calls on the Carolina defense. The flags will stay firmly in pocket the following week at NE. Don’t be surprised if NE isn’t flagged for a single DPI / holding or an offensive hold of consequence in that game. Maybe not even at all.
  13. I think we can all agree this year’s Bills are not as good as we thought. However there are no dominant teams in the AFC and the playoffs really will be a new season. The Bills could play a nearly perfect game in Foxboro but will not get a single call at any critical moment in that game regardless. Book it now: the Bills will not win @ New England in 2 weeks. They will either go 3-1 or 2-2 but will not run the table to finish this season.
  14. They might. I am strictly going by the playoff machine and picking what I feel are the likely outcomes that most NFL fans would pick in all games. I avoided anything that looked like “ oh it would be nice for the Bills if X team won.” The Bills were out in most scenarios if Colts beat NE
  15. That is true, but not if the Colts defeat the Pats. The Bills chances go down dramatically if those two outcomes happen. I understand the sentiment, and I would never watch a Pats game and actively root for them to win ( unless it gave the Bills the #1 seed lol) . I won’t watch the Colts / NE game but I won’t be too disappointed if I see that NE won the game.
  16. Mathematically yes but realistically no
  17. Depends on your confidence in winning @NE. I had figured on a home and home split with the Pats this year. After yesterday’s game , I don’t think I’d want to put all the Bills chances into the NE basket. I can see a close game with a questionable call or non call being a huge factor. I’d prefer the Bills to have another pathway into the postseason.
  18. Good analogy. That question was directed at Evian btw.
  19. Yes. If the Bills got the W yesterday we would be rooting for the Colts as we’d have a good shot at the AFCE
  20. I think ioure correct on the Colts/ Pats game. The Bills have more ways into the playoffs if the Pats win. Strange situation but that’s how it is. Is anyone saying the 2021 edition of the Bills are a great team?
  21. Don’t kid yourself, these games are determining playoff seeding. The Bills winning vs Tampa would change the dynamic in the AFCE. Without a top tier QB, the Pats would benefit the most of possibly any AFC team by getting the bye. You probably aren’t winning 3 playoff games with Mac Jones. As for the Tampa game, it was a 3 point game in the final moments of regulation. Tampa did little in the second half , so you could say the same about how they got to that point. The sequence of scoring doesn’t matter at all, just that the score was close with just a minute to play. Rationalizing away the impact of obviously bad calls/ non calls is nonsensical in this instance.
  22. They’re the top seed at the moment. As a matchup I absolutely believe the Bills can beat this version of the Pats. I agree less than optimal weather would suit the Pats more than the Bills.
  23. What they weren’t doing though was stopping the Titans. They had scored in quite a few consecutive drives ( can’t recall how many) . I’m certain that played a huge factor in that decision. I don’t want to leave it up to a coin toss. I can’t fault McD for putting the game in the hands of the team’s best player when the opportunity is there.
  24. That’s what happens when you have an elite athlete at the QB position. Tremendous production by Allen; I’m glad he’s on our team.
